They have poor customer service and the food isn't that good typical Chinese mall food and they don't even give military or any discount

Pleasantly surprised with Tibby's New Orleans Kitchen. Went for dinner one evening earlier this…read moremonth with the family. Nancy K was our server and she is not only fabulous in personality, she knew her menu. All of her recs were great and she showed genuine care for us. What's also great about this place is still being able to find reasonably priced food when dining out! A family of 3 adults and child, we had apps and each an entree and our meal still came up to $78 prior to tip. The food was also delicious. I had the gumbo on my most recent visit as well as the onion rings. The gumbo was just what I needed. The onion rings are hugeeee, a bit oily but light so I didn't completely feel like an impending heart attack. Would recommend the restaurant and Nancy K.

I made a reservation,…read morewhich indicated there could be a fee of $30 per person if you did not cancel at least 48 hours ahead. I confirmed my reservation. When we showed up and told the hostess we had a reservation, we were promptly taken to our table. However about halfway into the meal, I received an email stating my reservation was cancelled. I visited the host stand concerned we were not checked in correctly and that I would be charged $30 per person as a no-show. She revisited the reservation on their books and confirmed I was not checked in right and fixed it. Hopefully, I will not be charged. The meal was good, however it should be communicated when making a reservation that the full menu is not available. This was not communicated anywhere actually - not reservation, front desk or even upon sitting down at your table. It wasn't until I asked our server about the missing menu items that she said it was a limited menu that day. When I asked if any exception could be made, she said no. This was disappointing considering the items my husband was looking forward to were not available.

Alright, folks, gather 'round as I, a lifelong Valrico local, spin a heartfelt yarn about Willie's…read moreSeafood at 1912 Main Street, the place that's been the heartbeat of my life since I was a kid. Born and raised right here in Valrico, Florida, I was brought to Willie's by my granddad, who called it his favorite spot in town. It's been a constant through every chapter of my life--birthdays, heartbreaks, and everything in between. This five-star review is a love letter to Willie's, a seafood haven that's served up memories as rich as their fried catfish and kept me comin' back for decades. From the time I could barely see over the table, Granddad would lead me through Willie's doors, his calloused hand in mine, promisin' the best meal in town. The place felt like a second home--still does. The cozy, weathered interior, with its wooden walls covered in fishing nets, old photos of Valrico's early days, and mounted fish, wraps you in a warm hug of nostalgia. The jukebox in the corner hums old country tunes, and the checkered tablecloths remind me of Granddad's stories about fishin' in the Gulf. He'd sit me down, order a basket of fried shrimp and hush puppies, and tell me, "this here's real Florida eatin'." That first bite of crispy, golden shrimp, dipped in tangy cocktail sauce, was like tastin' the ocean itself--fresh, simple, and perfect. Willie's menu is a love song to seafood, and I've loved every note since I was a kid. Their fried catfish, a Granddad favorite, is still the gold standard--flaky, moist, with a cornmeal crust so crisp it crunches like autumn leaves. The all-you-can-eat nights--catfish, shrimp, haddock, and clam strips on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays--are a tradition I've kept alive, especially now with my own kids. The gator bites, spicy and tender, are a thrill I discovered as a teenager, sneakin' bites off Granddad's plate. Their blackened mahi-mahi, served with creamy grits, is a nod to Florida's coastal soul, with a spice kick that wakes you right up. Even the sides--coleslaw cool as a summer breeze, hush puppies golden and sweet--feel like they were made with love. And don't get me started on the key lime pie; it's tart, creamy perfection that Granddad always saved room for, claimin' it was "better'n any dessert in Tampa." After he passed, I'd sit at our usual table, order his favorite catfish dinner, and feel him right there with me. Now, I bring my family, watchin' my daughter giggle over her popcorn shrimp, just like I did. The staff, some of whom have been here since I was young, treat you like kin. They'd slip me extra hush puppies as a kid, and now they know my order by heart--fried shrimp, fries, and a sweet tea, just like Granddad's. The place ain't fancy, but that's the charm. It's a family-owned gem, run by folks who've been at it since the '70s, and it shows in every bite. The prices are fair--$15.99 for a catfish filet with sides feels like a steal for the quality. The service is quick, even when the place is packed with locals like me, all drawn by the same comfort and flavor. Sure, some might say it's a bit old-school, but that's what makes it special. It's not tryin' to be a chain or a tourist trap--it's just Willie's, servin' up seafood that tastes like home. I've lived in Valrico my whole life, and Willie's has been there for every milestone--first dates, graduations, even quiet nights when I just needed a taste of the past. It's where I learned to love seafood, where Granddad's stories came alive, and where I still feel him every time I walk in. The food, the warmth, the memories--they're all part of me. Willie's Seafood is a five-star treasure, a place that's fed my body and soul for decades. I'll keep comin' back, bringin' my kids and someday their kids, to keep Granddad's favorite spot alive in our hearts.

This truck pulled by an apartment complex near me and I LOVE cajun food so I got a haul of goodies…read more I got red beans & rice, gumbo, crawfish etoufeé, bread pudding, and king's cake soda. I regret not buying more of the soda lol it was good af. The red beans & rice from a purely objective standpoint was the most well made savoury dish of the three. Super flavourful, I'm just more of a seafood girl but would get this again. Loved the crawfish etoufée, it was FULL of crawfish. The gumbo was a delish flavour bomb. Wish it was a little chunkier (with okra pieces or something) but keep in mind that sauces that use crab/certain fish these goodies dissolve in the sauce, so I knew based on the flavour it was full of goodies. The bread pudding was da bomb dot com, but keep in mind it has raisins if you're not into raisins. I got extra butter rum sauce, which was a good move to make. I hope they pull up in the area again soon :) I followed them on Instagram (batonroux) The staff is friendly. Your food might take some time to make so you better not be in a rush when you place an order here.

Holy smokes, was I in for a treat. The Etoufee was delicious. Lots of seafood and flavor. Then on to the Beignets. I have had some insanely delicious desserts in my day but this was the best sweet treat I have ever had. The beignets were so light and crispy on the outside and doughy goodness on the inside. They were paired with a divine and light as air lemon creme, fresh whipped creme, strawberries and some vanilla ice cream on the side. Seriously if anything, find this foodie truck for the beignets no matter what.
