I saw Kimberly in San Jose, CA for permanent eyeliner in 2018. I got bottom and top eyeliner. The bottom came out great. On the top, Kimberly rushed and did work that was uneven with a cat eye on one eye and not on the other. I specifically said no cat eye. It left a very thick and dark mark on my left eye. She admitted she rushed and that both eyes were not done evenly. I requested a refund which she gave a partial one. I have went to a new place this year who also confirmed that this dark black cat eye dot on one eye was a mistake and did not look good. She also said my eyeliner faded funny. I got my eyeliner touched up 5 years later by someone else and it looks great however the dark black dot is still there and it is costing me $500 to remove. I started one session of the removal with a different person. I can't wait to have it gone. I would wish Kimberly would pay for her mistakes when customers have to get them fixed. She rushed and made uneven eyeliner which I've lived with. I do not recommend this person to do your permanent make-up. It has taken me time to write this review but I finally feel ready to put my name out there with this review. I was a customer in 2018. Do not make the same mistake. Do your research. read more

1st, I can't believe someone had the nerve to give Kimberly 1 star that has not even been to see her...sounds like a competitor to me!!! Give her a call!! I'm sure she'll answer and be more than helpful, like she is with everyone else. Kimberly is the best!!!! She has done my upper and lower eyes, lip liner and is working on a bad eye brow job that had been done by someone else. I had pitch black eyebrows that looked like someone drew them on with marker. Now after Kimberly's hard work and patience, we're almost ready to tattoo my brows back on with a natural look. I highly recommend her!! I went to her after contacting 5 other places which were too expensive or didn't know what they were talking about. I had my eyebrows and lip liner done by someone else and they messed it up big time so I needed to find someone I could trust!!! After my FREE consultation with Kimberly I knew she was the one. She has a great eye and noticed right away everything that I seen. So I let her do her work. She is still correcting my lips and eyebrows and so far I couldn't be happier. Kimberly does an AWESOME job when it comes to permanent make-up. She did my eyeliner. I had it done 5 yrs ago from a different lady who did permanent make-up but I decided to try someone new. And I'm glad that I did. Otherwise, I would have never known of Kimberly's EXCEPTIONAL work. It took about 2 hrs to do my eyeliner. For the most part, it felt like a ticklish feeling. It felt like your eyelids were getting massaged, which was a good feeling. There were some areas that were more sensitive in which she numbs you real well before and during the procedure so it is tolerable. And I was able to drive home with no problems. I had done a consultation with her the week before. She was very thorough in explaining the procedure itself and what she thought would look good and she does listen to what your preferences are as well. She also provides thorough post-procedure instructions to follow and an ointment to help with the healing process. She has a cute office where she does her work in her house. It has a very relaxing atmosphere, cute decor, and a comfy chair to lie on. She plays wonderful music in the background (Norah Jones) and she makes you feel at ease. Her prices are affordable and she does GREAT work. You definitely receive a job WELL-DONE. And the touch-up price is just as affordable in which she recommends coming back within 8 weeks. I already made my appt. with her to come back. Kimberly is very friendly, outgoing, and professional. She is someone you can trust when it comes to permanent make-up. The healing time was pretty fast. I thought the next day my eyes would be puffy and hard to open. That was how it was when I did my eyeliner with the other lady 5 years ago. However, the next day, my eyes were just a little swollen. It had looked like the look when you have had a good cry. I did have a little bruising but that was expected. I did have a little discomfort when I would blink but it was not bad at all. She uses this gel that has some Aloe Vera and boy does it speed up with the healing process. That thing made me say, "Wow!" every time I looked in the mirror. It was magical. Overall, the recovery takes about 3-4 days. In a follow up session, for no charge, we redid my lip line color into my perfect shade of rosy red. I couldn't be happier with the work. The shade is an enhancement of my natural lip color, with just enough deepening to define the lips and give them a prettier look - exactly what I wanted. Thank you Kimberly love my eyebrows! Kimberly has a comfortable yet professional tattoo studio in her home. I was a little worried since my last eyebrow color didnt quite turn ouf the way I thought it would...kinda of orangey. Kimberly knows her stuff, apparently I have usually thick skin and she had to go deeper into the dermis than planned. Thank goodness for that numbing gel didn't feel a thing. She reapplied as needed. I created my own eyebrow shape and Kimberly followed it to the T...perfect. She did have some issues with the line work and filling in due to my skin thickness but the end results was perfection. She did explain I will definitely need a touch up but the shape and color was dead on! During the session she made color adjustments after she saw how my skin accepted the color and again great call on her part....goodbye orange! I needed to get my eyeliner tatoo touched up. Kimberly explained that I would be better off getting the entire eyeliner redone. So I had her redo it. She applied topical anesthetic and I didn't feel anything. She also gave me specific instructions on how to care for the eyeliner when I got home. I have to say that it looks REALLY good. I got my brows done around a year ago and Kimberly communicated the process very well in much detail which was very comforting. I thought I liked the way my eyebrows turned out but maybe bc at the time I got it done Kimberly insisted & persuaded that they were good enough & to make a future appointment to finish the rest.. Once healed, I realized there wasnt enough ink filled in though & uneven. Towards the front of my eyebrows, there wasnt enough either! She's very very kind and does great fine line work. Kimberley helped my face look normal again! I thought I was just stuck with a scar I'd gotten years ago from a horse kick: no hair would grow on the end of my eyebrow close to my nose. The eyebrow pencil I was using on the scar didn't match the rest of my eyebrow. I am VERY glad I had Kimberley do permanent color there. She even managed to make permanent ink-strokes that look like hairs. I was afraid it was going to hurt: but she uses a very effective local anesthetic. As Kimberley was doing the work, she asked often "how are you doing?", and my answer every time was "just fine!". My eyebrows look great: she made them both even, and she used just the right color. Permanently disappointed :( The experience was great up until my eyebrows healed. I actually loved the way my eyebrows looked when they were first done but three days later the dark layer shed off and I was able to see that there was hardly any difference at all. My eyebrows were the same as before my appointment with Kimberly, light and patchy. I did go back to show her and let her know how Unsatisfied I felt but she said it was normal. She offered her standard touch up for another $100 but I do not want to pay another cent for something I should have got the first time I paid $250. So now I'm out time, gas and $250. Hope everyone knows up front that the ink can lighten 40 to 60% the first few days after your tattoo according to Kimberly. read more

Kimberly is so kind, patient, and honest. She really does care about her clients instead of seeing them as dollar signs like some other do. I called her if she could do a correction and a redo, and we talked on the phone for half an hour as she explained to me the procedure and the complications that could possibly arise. She talked about how the treatments might need to be spaced out because she didn't want to damage my skin or do something that I will regret later because I am so young. I appreciate that she did not sugar coat it to get me to pay for the services. She was upfront about the costs, which are, in fact, very reasonable. After, she set up an appointment to look at me, no cost. I really appreciate it when an artist cares more about delivering a good end result than about getting the client's money, and also when the artist is so preoccupied oh about her client's health, long term. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to our appointment today because I wasn't feeling we'll. Instead of becoming angry and charging a fee like most artists would on such a short notice, she was kind and sympathetic, even telling me that all was okay. She even wished for me to get better. I'm not even her client yet and she is treating me so kindly. In addition, she rescheduled the appointment for a time that was convenient for me. I was not pleased, but upon the recommendations of two friends, decided to try once more. I am SO glad I did. Kim took her time, and carefully did my eyes and lips.
