She was one of the few permanent makeup artists that offered nanoblading services. She is absolutely amazing - so dedicated, artistic and detailed and just a wonderful human being! She drew out the eyebrow shape for me to approve and then spent hours unflinchingly detailing each brow stroke. I loved the shape but was a bit worried that they came out quite dark but she assured me the colour would fade. They did fade, and so during our retouching session, she actually redid many of the strokes and also combined it with microblading to create beautiful expressive eyebrow arches. As a black woman I was very hesitant to try PMU because it's harder to get rid of mistakes and the pigments look different against darker skin. I booked a consultation with Amber and she went through the styles with me and did a mockup of what the brows would look like. I asked for pictures of her previous work with black women and she showed them to me, which helped ease my mind that she knew how to work with dark skin.
