Perfect Cleaning Home Cleaners - Bend, Oregon…read more Booking an appointment through their website was quick and easy, though they do seem to be quite busy. A couple of days before the scheduled date, I phoned to confirm the basics. We agreed on an arrival time, and the call was both professional and polite. On the day of the cleaning, a team of four arrived exactly as agreed. After a quick walkthrough, they got to work. Over the next three hours, they cleaned places I would never have even considered. My apartment had a lot of dust, and now there is none. This was, without question, the most expensive cleaning service I have ever used. I have hired cleaners in San Francisco, Vancouver BC, and Singapore, and for similar services the cost was roughly half. The total billed was $605, which included a discount I believe covered oven cleaning, an item I had been told would be extra beyond the hourly rate of $55 per cleaner. The overall cost was not a surprise, as we had discussed the pricing beforehand. I expected the total to be around $600, and it was. After the cleaning was complete, the invoice was sent via email, and tipping can be added at that time. That said, I am very pleased with the results. Everywhere I look is spotless. The entire team was polite, professional, and efficient, like the Navy SEALs of cleaning. (added note: my apartment is just under 1200 square feet)

The first tech spent a lot of time bragging about how great he, personally, is at cleaning carpet. Within the specified period of time for drying I could tell that the issue was most definitely not resolved and let their office know. I didn't ask for any "extra" anything and I vacuumed thoroughly before they came. They did their measurements and quoted me $155. I thought dang, for such a small portion of my house, ok, it's short notice, I am appreciative of that. They did the "clean" and I paid, tipped, they left. When I went to get my house back in order, there was a huge portion in my living room they did not get, and my bedroom where it was the worst did not look clean. Now that it has been 3 weeks, it doesn't feel like anything was cleaned. My friend had their entire house cleaned by another company and it cost them less than it cost me to have just a small portion of mine done with this company. I hate that I have to give a negative review, and I tried to just let it go, but that is a lot of money for what feels like nothing.

The work was completed well, and I'm happy with the outcome. When it came time for billing, I was surprised to learn that a second technician had been onsite, as that hadn't been discussed in advance. As a result, the labor cost came in about 2x higher than I expected. To be fair, I live on the second floor of a condo (with elevator access), and the installation was more complex due to the flooring, so I don't question the time or effort involved. To avoid any budget surprises, I would recommend confirming upfront how many technicians will be assigned to the job. Overall, I would work with Jason again and would recommend him to others. UPDATE- I had a small leak with one of the toilets and Jason came out right away to adjust it. He definitely stands behind his work! I originally set the review at 4 stars, but have adjusted it up to 5 stars because of this. Thanks Jason!

Around 9:30 AM, they called to say they had arrived early. She told them she would be home by 10:00 and specifically asked them not to block the driveway because she needed access to the garage. When she arrived at 10:00, the two technicians had already entered our private property and started working before anyone was home. One had a ladder blocking the garage. Both men were wearing earpieces, making it difficult to get their attention. After several attempts, my wife lightly tapped the ladder so the technician would hear her and asked him to move it. Instead of a professional response, he said, "Yeah, I got nothin' better to do." When she told him that he was on private property and that speaking to a customer that way was inappropriate, he replied, "You f...n' tapped my ladder." The other technician then said, "Let's leave," and my wife agreed. They left after only partially cleaning one upstairs window, leaving it streaked and looking worse than before. Since then, we've received repeated phone calls, and someone from the company came to our home pounding on our front door. We never signed a contract, and based on our experience, we cannot recommend Crystal Clear Cleaning. We encourage others to use caution before hiring this company.

For 6 years I have given this business complete access to our home even when we were thousands of miles away. I trusted them! But unfortunately, the last time our windows were cleaned the job was not to our satisfaction as usual. I called Amy (best thing they have going!) and we schedule to have someone come back out to redo. The day of the cleaning I was still asleep at 8a when owner, Chris arrived instead of around 10a as was schedule. Aggressive, bitter and griping for the inconvenience of the hour drive (great way to wake up!), CHRIS MADE ME UNCOMFORTABLE IN MY OWN HOME! Months later Chris called to collect on an invoice we were late to pay sent via email. I provided payment over the phone. HE THEN THREATENED TO ADD A $100 TIP since he "had to" drive an hour to clean up a shotty job by HIS employees! When I questioned him and called him out on being professional Chris got more agitated to which point I hung up. He called back several times, left a message saying "You misunderstood me. It was just a joke, I was kidding you!" Don't you hate that stuff?! I sure do! He attempted to connect through a different number minutes later. I BLOCKED all the numbers. CHRIS, One thing's for sure it's CRYSTAL CLEAR I'll NEVER USE you or any business you ever own again!
