The girls behind the bar were so nice, she took her time to answer my questions about the specialty items and explained that the Yuzu Matcha was not your traditional Matcha, but actually had a Yuzu tea soda base - good to know because I really wanted that milk tea Matcha and this was not that so I ended up not ordering it and pivoting to the Baku coffee instead, which was a yummy toasty coconut inspired coffee with coconut flakes on top. This was super good and not overly sweet and perfect for the occasion. We also tried a chocolate croissant, which would have been better heated up, but was still yummy. The prices were really not great though three tiny coffees were $35. I was pretty shocked.

The owner, Mauricio, is 4th generation in his dealings with coffee and has an abundance of knowledge. They brew fresh coffee in this shop, which means the bean is green, roasted in place, and then ground for you. Honestly, there's no word for this gem. It's the perfect place to have a quieter setting for a business meeting while enjoying quality coffee. They do presentations to educate small groups on the process of producing coffee and how to identify good coffee. The artwork on the walls is beautiful, and probably one of my favorite features is that they have furniture built out of coffee wood. Take a moment to discover this place. You will not regret it.

They had some baked goods as well, but we didn't eat there. I ordered the banana coffee cake latte and it was fantastic! It was very rich in flavor, but kept it coffee. What was most interesting was the wall of fame where you are able to see really interesting things that customers have shipped which was pretty cool! The coffee was good overall, the only wish I would have to make this better is to actually have a menu similar to what is showcased online on their site for visibility. The syrup flavors are shown on their board but the names of the specialty coffee isn't such as the lucky charms and the French toast. So be sure to check online to see their speciality coffee!
