I specifically got the chocolate chip muffin because he said he has one everyday lol I haven't tried it but I don't doubt it's good! My husband got a strawberry shortcake donut which was delish! In which they let me know it's from another business but I forgot the name, however, really good donut. For our drinks, I got an iced pumpkin latte and my husband got a honey maple latte. Both were perfect. Generous amount and perfect sweetness! So there's a really cute library in the back that catches my attention. I immediately go there as we wait for our order and picked out a book that I immediately start to read. As I'm reading, the owner (wife of the guy I believe I met at the counter) says I can keep the book! Excuse me what?! I was so happy lol what a gem of a coffee shop. I'll be back to enjoy their other menu items as they also have warm breakfast items etc. Lastly, they also own Local Pie which is right next to it and it's also delish! A simple gesture could have turned a negative experience into a positive one, but unfortunately, that was not the case. The lack of customer care, flexibility, and appreciation for loyal customers has led us to make the decision not to return. In a city like Miami, there are countless places that offer not only great food and drinks, but also exceptional service, where customers are always treated as a priority. Sadly, this was not our experience at Bonjour Bakery. No matter how good a place may be, customer service is what truly builds long-term relationships and keeps people coming back. The staff was friendly and polite. I ordered the ham and cheese cachito, and oh my goodness... it instantly took me back to the ones I used to eat as a kid in school in Venezuela. The cachito was that good. I didn't try anything else, so I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but for the cachitos alone, I'd happily drive from Miami Lakes all the way to Kendall again.
