Meatloaf mash potatoes and broccoli
James E.

I didn't know Perkins still existed so I rolled the dice. Salad dressing (thousand island) was da best I ever had at a restaurant. So I opted for the meatloaf. My expectations are always low for chain restaurant meatloaf at it did not disappoint. It came out cold 2x but the manager fixed it on the 3rd try. Which I was grateful for. But it still tasted like hot news paper. Would it kill y'all to use SOME SIMBLANCE OF REAL MEAT... MANAGER AND waitresses were great..

This surprised me too, their Hamburger is the best I've had in a very long time, it was cooked as ordered at medium rare. I will go back!

Pot roast had a lot of fatty meat and the mashed potatoes were cold. The gravy didn't help to improve the texture.

Very good food and experience if you don't go to church I'd say go before 11:00 so you don't get caught up with all the people

Food was OK but could definately tell it was preprepaired by Sysco…read more The manager refused to honor a gift certificate, claiming it was expired. However, the certificate clearly stated, " No expiration date." I refuse to patronize a business that blantanly deceives its customers.

We proceeded to walk in because we were there a couple of years ago and the food was still good, and that was a mistake. My daughter's chicken Caesar salad was so bad, chicken was either old or overcooked she couldn't chew it ( brought it to go for my dog)! There was nothing redeeming about it, not the dressing, lack of croutons, it was just terrible. I ordered the haddock and what i got was not haddock, it tasted like frozen tilapia. I eat a lot of fish and this was not it, to make matters worse I had a whole entire half missing from my fish and they put it out to serve, I asked our waitress what happened to the other half and she said i asked them that too but told me to serve it anyway. She said i will let them know and then they sent another piece about 10 minutes later. It was unflavored and just crap to be frank. My husband's meal was a crab cake sandwich that was less than desirable as well, edible but not flavorful. Now all of these meals were not cheap, and people want to shop local when the quality for the price is just not worth it. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore to anyone. It looks and smells like something Gordon Ramsey would have had on kitchen nightmares. The beer was the only redeeming quality but you can go anywhere for that, and we have a bar in our basement so we will stick to our keg in our basement and pass forever on this place!!

They had immediate seating, and we were hungry, so we stopped. The server was attentive and had a great attitude. The place was noisy, especially sitting next to a family with three small children. It didn't bother me, but some around us were bothered. They had a salad bar with hot food items, salad, and desserts. Hubby was considering it, but he said the hot food looked old and dried out, so he decided to order from the menu. I had the steak (medium-well) and shrimp with onion rings and a Caesar salad with dressing on the side. Hubby had a stuffed steak with a sweet potato and salad bar, and his boss had a filet mignon with a baked potato and salad bar. Hubby decided to try the ham pot pie soup. I was excited to try this too, but when he brought it, it wasn't what I expected. I expected to see a creamy base (like a pot pie). It wasn't. His stuffed steak wasn't stuffed. It was a sirloin (I think) on top of stuffing with brown gravy over the steak. The sweet potato was good. My steak was very well done, no medium at all. The onion ring portion was generous, and the shrimp were delicious. Even though the steak was well-cooked, it was still moist. I usually order med-well so I can heat it later and still have it moist. The boss commented that he needed to go to the kitchen and teach someone how to cook a steak. He did enjoy the sweet tea. Just like Texas sweet tea, he said. They both had dessert from the salad bar and commented that it was okay. There were other things on the menu I wanted to try. If I am in the area again, I will be back.
