I loved my lunch break at Texas Roadhouse! The steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked to the right doneness. Everyone raved about the little dinner rolls, and the butter! Yum Our server was very attentive and did well to anticipate our needs. And who doesn't love rodeo decor? So fun! I love this location! Seems like we stop here every year.

Always good 99 percent of the time! Sit at the bar and enjoy Terri and Niko, the best bar tenders ever! Service is amazing and the atmosphere is great. Recommend this TX ROADHOUSE.

The steaks are not prime beef but are seasoned well and I've never had one not cooked to my order. The wait can be long but you can join a waitlist on their site. The onion appetizer is as god as any other restaurant in the onion game. I ordered a cup of chili as a side and it came with cheese and onions on top. It is a smooth tasting chili and has a nice little kick at the end. I highly recommend the shrimp and fillet or the half rack with a fillet. The only reason they get a 4* is because they don't let the steaks rest. They do have a limited beer selection but a full bar with changing cocktails for the season. The servers are always fantastic and every visit a manager has stopped by and talked to us. This place definitely knows customer service and should be used as an example for other restaurants. They are attentive without being overbearing.

Desha was amazing, the food was great, all around a great way to spend your birthday.

Did a great job making half sweet- half unsweetened iced tea. Coke was probably the best I've had from a restaurant that wasn't Mexican coke. Oranges are real good. Rolls are always the best, yum. I'm a pescatarian and I like this place, their seafood options are limited, but delicious. I recommend salmon. Mine was SO GOOD. Best fish I've ever had. Staff are kind, KELLY IS AWESOME!!! Gave us a free appetizer coupon for any location and peanuts!! :) Food did take a long time, though.

I asked for a ribeye with potatoes cheese butter and bacon and it was delicious

They had immediate seating, and we were hungry, so we stopped. The server was attentive and had a great attitude. The place was noisy, especially sitting next to a family with three small children. It didn't bother me, but some around us were bothered. They had a salad bar with hot food items, salad, and desserts. Hubby was considering it, but he said the hot food looked old and dried out, so he decided to order from the menu. I had the steak (medium-well) and shrimp with onion rings and a Caesar salad with dressing on the side. Hubby had a stuffed steak with a sweet potato and salad bar, and his boss had a filet mignon with a baked potato and salad bar. Hubby decided to try the ham pot pie soup. I was excited to try this too, but when he brought it, it wasn't what I expected. I expected to see a creamy base (like a pot pie). It wasn't. His stuffed steak wasn't stuffed. It was a sirloin (I think) on top of stuffing with brown gravy over the steak. The sweet potato was good. My steak was very well done, no medium at all. The onion ring portion was generous, and the shrimp were delicious. Even though the steak was well-cooked, it was still moist. I usually order med-well so I can heat it later and still have it moist. The boss commented that he needed to go to the kitchen and teach someone how to cook a steak. He did enjoy the sweet tea. Just like Texas sweet tea, he said. They both had dessert from the salad bar and commented that it was okay. There were other things on the menu I wanted to try. If I am in the area again, I will be back.

I got the honey chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. The chicken was ok, it was kind of dry and didn't have a big honey taste. The mashed potatoes were instant. They have an expansive parking lot. The lot entrance is shared with a hotel and another restaurant and it's right off of the highway.

Not only did it need to have a kids menu but also an easy in/out and parking to accommodate our truck and 28' travel trailer. While we prefer to check out local favorites instead of a chain when in a new to us area the parking made that a bit of a challenge. We finally found Bob Evans, complete with an empty hotel parking lot next door that fit the bill. Inside we were seated promptly. Hubby preferred breakfast, my granddaughter and I lunch so I was happy that we could all get what we craved. The kids menu was better than most with options to switch out fries for healthier sides which I appreciated. It also included a drink. I chose a half sandwich and cup of soup for around $6. Not expecting real, hand craved turkey (thought it would be made with lunch-meat) I was pleasantly surprised. The sandwich was a turkey bacon melt and it was the bomb! The sourdough was nicely toasted, the turkey moist and the bacon high quality. The loaded potato soup - a little thick and cheesy than I prefer - did have nice flavor and between the two I was satisfied. Hubby's hungry man breakfast had a little of everything. His only disappointment was the sausage patty which was overcooked to a black hockey puck. The kids meal was a good size (enough for our picky eater to have two meals) and the steamed broccoli side was fresh and not over or under-cooked. Our waitress was spot on serving our needs and checking back frequently. With both of us under the weather slightly she was happy to bring us hot tea with lemon and lots of honey. Overall the restaurant was clean and decorated nicely with the exception of the dated lobby, strange entrance layout and bathroom long overdue for a redo. 4 stars because of hubby's sausage, the areas that need updated, and the VERY cluttered check out register - with so many gift shop items for sale taking up real estate by the credit card machine I was knocking stuff over left and right just trying to pay.

We arrived about two hours before closing, and the dining room was far from full. The restaurant appeared clean, well-maintained, and inviting. The bartender was friendly, welcoming, and personable. However, the initial service was slower than expected considering we were two of only six people seated at the bar, with the other guests already finishing their meals. We arrived at 7:40 p.m. and received our drinks at 7:51 p.m. While an 11-minute wait isn't excessive, it felt slow given how lightly occupied the restaurant was. We ordered the Wild West Shrimp as an appetizer, and it arrived about 12 minutes later. As always, it was flavorful, fresh, and had just the right amount of heat. Once we had nearly finished the appetizer, our server came back to take our entrée order, which felt well-timed. As a steak lover, I ordered the Outlaw Ribeye cooked medium rare. Our entrées arrived at 8:25 p.m., another longer-than-expected wait considering the light crowd. On a Tuesday after Labor Day, I anticipated quicker service. The steak itself did not disappoint. It was cooked perfectly to a medium rare with a nice warm red center and was seasoned very well. The quality and flavor were excellent. I couldn't finish it, but that had more to do with filling up on the salad and appetizer than with the steak itself. I've tried steaks at all of the major chain restaurants in the area, and in my opinion, LongHorn consistently offers the best combination of flavor and value. While the Outlaw Ribeye covered the plate nicely, it wasn't as thick as the steaks you'll find at a high-end steakhouse. Even so, it was satisfying and well worth ordering. Overall, I would recommend LongHorn Steakhouse to anyone craving a quality steak without paying steakhouse prices. Just don't expect a quick dining experience, even on a slow night. The food was excellent, but the pace of service left room for improvement.
