If you could describe Exteriors West with one word it would be "Outstanding" with a capital O. Dan, who is owner and installer, has got the installation down to a science. Dan arrived at my home around 8am to install a 16' X 20' aluminum patio cover which he flawlessly and meticulously installed by himself and completed around 6:00pm, Including cleanup. He has been doing this work for 25 years now and it shows! Do you remember the days of great customer service and honesty of business owners in the 50's? Well there are a few still out there and Dan is one of them. Maybe that is why the Better Business Bureau has given Exteriors West an A+. He completed the patio cover then proceeded to look over the cover with a fine tooth comb, wiping down the cover removing any finger prints or dirt he saw then he continued to look it over and painting any scratch or blemish with the factory touch up paint. Just this alone took about 45 minutes to an hour this is how meticulous Dan is and what kind of commitment he has to make everything perfect. When Dan started the job he put down sheets of cardboard and covered my deck with it to protect it. And at the end of the job he swept up his work debris and picked up the cardboard. He then blew off my deck with a leaf blower and picked up any stray garbage. My deck was left cleaner than when he got there. Then fit and finish of my cover is outstanding! From the planning, selection of materials and construction, Dan has been very patient and full of information and suggestions. If you need a patio cover, carport, RV cover, railings, window awnings, whether it be residential, commercial or industrial, Exteriors West is the company you want to go with. He said he does jobs all around Washington and told me he had just returned from a commercial job in Oregon. Sorry if this sound like a commercial but when I find a company that does an outstanding job all the way around, I have to tell someone. And today, you're that someone.

We decided to use Quartzite and understood there would be a number of challenges ahead, including very tight budget and time constraints. We had several contractors working simultaneously, and inevitably hit budget overruns and time delays. We interviewed and worked with several other major countertop vendors, and not only did their customer service leave much to be desired, but our selected vendor fell through at the last minute because they oversold their material. When we reached out to Evergreen, from the start everything was different. We were dealing directly with the owner, who supported us through the whole process, from slab selection to fitting, installation and everything in between. The quote was highly competitive and market-aware, payment was very straight forward and, though we had minor unforeseen issues, they were completely and masterfully handled. Even after the installation was done, we needed help with an issue that was totally outside his responsibility. In the end, we came out ahead of our remodel schedule, within budget, and with a fantastic kitchen. Truly, cannot recommend it further!

They brought a level of attention to detail and project awareness that made a big difference in both quality and peace of mind. Throughout the process, communication was clear and timely, and their team was always respectful of timelines and our vision. It's rare to find a contractor who is both technically skilled and genuinely collaborative -- Brutsky Builds delivered on both. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again or recommend them to others.

UPDATE 10/6/26: Brutsky has now responded publicly to this review and to our BBB complaint, so I…read morewant to address several statements in their response. Erik repeatedly emphasizes that they "returned numerous times" to our home. That is true. What their response leaves out is why they had to return numerous times: they were returning to correct problems with their own work. Having a contractor repeatedly return to correct deficiencies after an $800,000+ remodel is not the positive customer-service story their response makes it sound like. Erik also continues to characterize the fence work as being "outside the original contracted scope" and something they performed as a "good-faith accommodation." This completely misses the issue. It wasn't in our contract for Brutsky to destroy a substantial portion of our existing ~$23,000 professionally installed fence either. Their project manager, Filip, repeatedly represented to us by phone, in person and through WhatsApp that the affected fence would be restored to its original condition. Putting back property affected during your construction project is not a free upgrade or favor to the homeowner. Worse, the rebuilt fence was installed using the wrong nails that began rusting and caused widespread dark staining and bleeding down the wood. Both of the handymen that Erik sent to "fix" the fence showed me that the fence had the incorrect nails installed. When I raised this with Brutsky, they disputed the cause. Their attempted solution was wood cleaner, which made the appearance worse. I then had to purchase zinc spray to address the rusting nails before ultimately paying $7,192.38 to have the entire perimeter fence painted black because there was no practical way to conceal the staining and discoloration. Erik's response also says he attempted to contact us after receiving the complaint and "have not yet received a response." Correct. We had already spent months attempting to resolve these issues directly with Erik. Erik previously refused our request concerning the remaining gates, characterized previous fence repairs as a "courtesy," called us "too demanding," and accused us, in substance, of seeking "free stuff." Only after I submitted a BBB complaint and public reviews were filed did we suddenly receive repeated calls, texts and WhatsApp messages seeking to "resolve" the matter. We informed BBB that we wanted further communication regarding the dispute handled through BBB rather than privately. Their reference to our initial positive feedback doesn't change any of this either. We were happy to finally move back into our home. Many of the problems described in this review occurred or became apparent afterward. Our experience during the subsequent "warranty phase" is a major reason our opinion changed. We were not clearly informed that the communication/service process would change after completion, went weeks without answers, and were eventually told that things were handled differently during warranty and that we essentially had to wait our turn. BBB has now closed the complaint as "Answered," specifically noting that the business addressed the complaint but the consumer did not accept the response. BBB also states that the complaint and business response remain part of the public record. Brutsky declined our requested reimbursement. I stand behind my original review. Correcting your own deficient work is not complimentary work, restoring property affected during your construction isn't a "courtesy," and the fact that we initially felt positively about the project doesn't erase problems that occurred or became apparent afterward. After the entire experience, I still cannot recommend Brutsky Builds.

The team was incredibly patient throughout the entire process, making sure we received the answers and information we needed. We first contacted Armada a couple of years before actually starting construction so we could explore different project scopes and costs. At no point did we ever feel unwelcome, pressured, or like we were a bother. Everyone was responsive and took the time to thoroughly look into options for us. First, I want to say that what initially sold us on using Armada was Robin, our project consultant. She was simply the best! Her helpfulness, knowledge, and warm personality were absolutely top-notch. Omar, our project manager, always kept us informed and was very accommodating to our needs. We were concerned about the security of our pet during construction and her accidentally getting out. This was never an issue when we expressed our concern with Omar. Omar made sure the workers were aware of our concerns and was even understanding when we preferred not to leave a key in a lockbox for worker access to help us feel more comfortable with this situation. We know this created extra work for him, but he never treated it as an issue or inconvenience. He consistently checked in to make sure we were satisfied and encouraged us to voice any concerns we had. He was easy to talk to, and we always felt comfortable being honest with him. We were also fortunate to have the Vlads working on our project. They were always professional and delivered high-quality workmanship. As with any construction project, we experienced a few issues along the way. However, Armada made sure those issues were addressed to our satisfaction and took responsibility for ensuring everything was corrected. We truly appreciate that they stand behind their work.

I was referred to Carpet to Go through the Costco flooring program. I was a bit worried when I…read morelearned that many customers had some issues with Costco referred contractors for flooring. However, we were lucky to have Carpet to Go, who completed our kitchen/dining area flooring project. I was originally scheduled on Thursday/Friday, right before the Christmas. However, just a day before our scheduled day, I got a call from Carpet to Go that they would have to delay this project for a day. Then I started to worry more as I might not be able to get my floor done before the holidays. They did give me an option to do it after Christmas, but I already moved out everything from my kitchen, so I decided to reschedule to Friday/Saturday. On Friday morning, I got another call that the installer was unable to complete the work on time and wouldn't be able to show up. At that moment, I became very anxious. In order to do the flooring, I already moved away all the furniture in my kitchen/dining room. It would be lots of work for me to move things back and then move them out. I asked if the installer could come later that day, and they told me that they could try. Luckily, the installer called me to see if he could come over around noon. I said yes, and he showed up around 1:40 pm. The installer Ivan was great to work with. As soon as he arrived, he started to work on the floor. He also explained to me why he was late, which I could totally understand. He was very careful with all the details, and he confirmed with me before he proceeded. He also asked for my permission to work late, which I had no problem as I really wanted to get it done as soon as possible. The next day, Ivan showed up to finish the work. When he finished the work and showed me, he mentioned to me that my kitchen cabinet was falling, which I had known already but had no solution for it. He offered to fix it for me, but he wanted to do it through his employer. I of course am fine with that. In fact, it's better to do through the company with all the liability insurance. He was able to fix my cabinet and he even went beyond to find some matching wood pieces to make my cabinet look nicer. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service and the work provided by Carpet to Go. The price was a bit cheaper than other bids I had received. The customer service was great. A few days later, they emailed me to check in with me to see if I was happy with their work. Although I think they should have got a back up plan in case the previous project got delayed, especially during the holidays. That's the reason why I didn't give 5 stars. I appreciate very much that Ivan's hard work to make us enjoy our new flooring and use our kitchen during the holidays. I would definitely use Carpet to Go for my next flooring project.
