Also, plenty of alcohol here, as that's what Duty Free Stores are mostly known for to me. This was where I had my first job working at Miller's Outpost / Anchor Blue. That's when it used to be a very alive mall then, with the super cheap double show movie theater. The good old days when life was much simpler and we weren't glued to cell phones, lol. I could've sworn I read somewhere a while back this place was sold, and it was going to be like a biotech/ apartment in like 5 years or so. I could be wrong. Like most malls now, it's mostly all about food. I believe they still do off the grid here every Tuesday. For what it is, it's still a cool place to just walk around, catch a movie, and get a bite to eat.

A medium sized (9 inch tall max) unicorn plushie was $89.90 (see attached photos). I purchased a card for $7 and a pencil pouch for $16. The pouch has Silicon Valley anthropomorphic businessmen unicorns in suits and sunglasses looking like they are in a work conference meeting. Unicorn tech bros! The card has a cute design reminiscent of The Unicorn Tapestries (European medieval artwork from the Middle Ages). The cashier was friendly and asked "Where are you from?" They often have sale items and yesterday, hats were 50% off. Last night, went to Claire's go get my second ear piercing re-pierced! I originally had two piercing on both ears, but I have not worn two pairs of earrings in years so the holes closed. Anyway, prior to getting my ears pierced, I had to sign "Release of Liability/Waiver of Claims" as the Sale Associate prepare the pre-sterilized studs that directly penetrated my ears. Ouch! Ha-ha-ha. J/K :-)! My total came up to $17.32 which included the piercing and sterling silver stud earrings, plus a big bottle of ear care antiseptic. After six-weeks, I get to remove the studs and put on new earrings... SWEET!

Sometimes an update is deserving when something exemplary happens…read more It actually stems from a disappointing experience with a pop-up vendor that makes auto key copies, sometimes on site or, more often than not, takes orders before making another appointment to make the key(s) when they are at the location again. I placed an order in March and waited until late May to check on my order for a key for my brother's 2011 Toyota Sienna that we intended to sell. Because of the time lapse, we decided to cancel the order and ask for a refund. One of the Costco managers asked me about my situation and called the company in trying to get an immediate approval for my refund but we hit a roadblock as they, being east coast based, asked us to call them back. The manager took my info and told me he'd call me after working on this with them. The next day, he called me and told me the seller insisted that I be present for the call before they'd approve it so I may an appointment to return a week later during my regular Costco shopping day. We met up again and he explained the process before heading to their office and speaking with them on their landline speaker phone. A short time later, we walked to the returns counter and my refund was completed. Big thanks to David for his patience and attention to details in helping me resolve this complicated situation. As with the other veteran staff there, he is friendly and helpful in making my shopping experience seamless.
