This Sephora in San Francisco is unlike any other Sephora. It seemed unusual to be in Penney's…read more There was only one sales person I saw on the floor. I had come in since my Hawaiian environment was way different from the chill in the air of California. My skin was in desperate need of a hydrating moisturizer. I ended up buying a really good smelling jar by Origins and a mask. The salesperson came to me after she finished helping another customer. She gave me a sample of an IT moisturizer but it wasn't the one I came in for featured in an email that morning. Strangely both products rang up higher than signed. Twenty dollars more had me question the ring up. While she called for her supervisor on the phone, I went to get the price sign. They seemed hesitant to honor their signage but eventually did.

Service is hit or miss. Usually it's a miss…read more Teens referring to clients as "hun" / "honey" really makes me feel some type of way. It's unprofessional, this is retail not Mel's Diner and you're not Alice. Even after their renovations & extended services (Brow Bar, etc) the actual merch within the store leaves more to be desired. I do, however, understand that this is merely an Annex within JCP so one can't expect as many products as a full service, stand alone Sephora. That being said, when I'm in a pinch and need to pickup something asap, I appreciate the convenient mall location as well as the option to order online on JCP'S site for pickup, usually available same-day in store.

I went here 10/20/25 Monday morning. There was only one women working, I asked a simple question…read moreand she seems being bothered already and being rude as well, so obviously she didn't want any business, therefore we left without buying anything. There wasn't any other customers and she was doing nothing, just staying behind the counter, not even organizing the merchandise on the table that are messy. Will not shop at this location whenever u see her there in the future. Oh and she doesn't greet anyone, I think she thinks her job is just to ring the register and get your money. If time allows I would prefer going to the downtown location.

They have really creative and cool designs for art prints, cards ($7), plushies ($9-$90), bags, pencil pouches ($16), t-shirts, mugs, magnets ($5), candles, notebooks ($21), etc that cannot be (easily) found anywhere else online. One of the most creative and artistic gift / souvenir shops I've ever seen at an airport! Only downside is that it's very overpriced. A medium sized (9 inch tall max) unicorn plushie was $89.90 (see attached photos). I purchased a card for $7 and a pencil pouch for $16. The pouch has Silicon Valley anthropomorphic businessmen unicorns in suits and sunglasses looking like they are in a work conference meeting. Unicorn tech bros! The card has a cute design reminiscent of The Unicorn Tapestries (European medieval artwork from the Middle Ages). The cashier was friendly and asked "Where are you from?" And wished me "have a safe journey".

Sometimes an update is deserving when something exemplary happens…read more It actually stems from a disappointing experience with a pop-up vendor that makes auto key copies, sometimes on site or, more often than not, takes orders before making another appointment to make the key(s) when they are at the location again. I placed an order in March and waited until late May to check on my order for a key for my brother's 2011 Toyota Sienna that we intended to sell. Because of the time lapse, we decided to cancel the order and ask for a refund. One of the Costco managers asked me about my situation and called the company in trying to get an immediate approval for my refund but we hit a roadblock as they, being east coast based, asked us to call them back. The manager took my info and told me he'd call me after working on this with them. The next day, he called me and told me the seller insisted that I be present for the call before they'd approve it so I may an appointment to return a week later during my regular Costco shopping day. We met up again and he explained the process before heading to their office and speaking with them on their landline speaker phone. A short time later, we walked to the returns counter and my refund was completed. Big thanks to David for his patience and attention to details in helping me resolve this complicated situation. As with the other veteran staff there, he is friendly and helpful in making my shopping experience seamless.

Dear Costco SFO,…read more We've had a love-hate relationship throughout the years and your 10 gallon milk jugs, 10lb cereal boxes, 100 pack bagels, crazy parking, and 45 min lines have driven me to madness at times. However, there are those days that you still make me smile such as your years of affordable Hot Dog + Soda combos which always hits the spot. Please don't ever grow up. Yeah, I guess I'll still keep you on my MySpace friends list. Your's truly, JC Come hungry and Go Big!!!

I ended up here because I bought a Groupon for an eyelash perm. It was a bit out of the way (I live…read morein Oakland), but a great price so I went for it. I'd expected a more typical salon, but I was delighted to find that the entire first floor is dedicated to imported Asian beauty products. In the couple minutes before my appointment, I was finally able to test the Biore Water Essence 50+ SPF I've been wanting to try for a while (I bought it). Right at my appointment time, I was led upstairs and the attendant made sure I had a second to use the restroom (the perm would take about 40 mins). So I went to the bathroom and changed into my glasses, then went into a semi-private room where the attendant laid me down on a futon-like bed (and even gave me a comforter!) She applied this little plastic contraption to each of my eyes, applied the perm solution, and left me to sit for about 20 mins with some fun and relaxing music in the background. Then she came back, removed the first contraption, applied a little eyelash serum, put another contraption on my eye, then some more perm solution and left me for another 20 minutes. In those 40 minutes, I got two quick naps in and also got some REALLY curled eyelashes. The only thing that could have been cool was if they had a tint to make my eyelashes darker -- kill two birds with one stone, ya know? This seems to be a typical service at other eyelash perm places I've looked at. However, I also know that the way they do your lashes at Dazzling is a little different so it's possible that the mechanism they're using wouldn't support a dye, too. I'll definitely be back (I got the 2-pack Groupon), and next time I'll be staying to try out a couple more products! The only con: a little hard to find. My GPS took me to the wrong shopping center. Wondering if they were potentially at a different location before? But using the actual street address instead of searching for Dazzling in Google Maps fixed that problem and it was only a 2 minute walk away!
