So the reward showed as used, but I received no benefit from it. This is not a one-off issue. I've also dealt with price discrepancies and last-minute cancellations on pickup orders. I like the products most of the time, but the customer experience has become unreliable and frustrating. A rewards program should not require customers to chase down basic account issues after the store can already see the reward was redeemed.

We picked a color & reassured my mom that we'd watch a video on how to use the product later. Sure enough the same girl offered to ring us up for the product. Commission without knowledge. How the heck is anyone supposed to know how to use any of the 1000s of product that Sephora is selling if the 5+ employees that are always standing around can't show you how to use actually use the product. Sephora has changed if this truly is the new "policy," to not allow employees to help put a product on you to test it. We weren't asking to do our whole face, just 1 eyebrow. Disappointing. Kasandra was incredibly helpful not only with the transaction but also with guiding us through a few cologne options. She gave thoughtful suggestions, helped us test different scents, and made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Her patience and friendly demeanor definitely made a difference. My mom has had health issues for year now and has been communicated by the doctor that she needs to start walking or there will be a decline. My parents live on Park St which is only 2 blocks away from the shopping center. So my mom and I decided to start going on walking dates at the center. Who doesn't love that! :) During our walk we decided to go into Blue Mercury because I remember they carried the CE Ferulic by Skinceuticals. Ana was the lovely lady in front who greeted us and immediately asked us what we came in for. After helping me and educating on the Augustins Bader brand she didn't stop there, she assisted my mom. Mind you, we have entered several stores in the center. No one paid any attention to my mom, let alone opened the door for her when she was having trouble entering with her walker. I know! Ana made my mother feel so special. She did her brows, matched her with a foundation, powder and blush. She knew her stuff! And most importantly my mom was so happy and felt beautiful. You could see her light up! Thank you so much Ana! I hope this review gets to you! Your kindness today made not only my day, but my mother's! In the past I've been too intimidated to go inside, but I got over it because I saw a sign for the summer sale promotion. The retail space reminds me of Sephora with some overlap of brands carried. The store carries many high end brands including La Mer but you can also find items under $10 e.g. from Patchology. This location also carries products for men, notably the Jack Black line which is not available in the Sephora Burlingame store. Many of the brands had free gifts with purchase at the time of my visit. During my visit, I received the best service from Holiday. She was friendly, answered all my questions, and prepared extra samples. I would definitely come back when Holiday is working!

MAC can sometimes feel very overwhelming when you walk in, especially if you're not 100% sure what you want or need. But this particular store? Customer service was a solid 10/10. They recommended great products without making us feel pressured to buy unnecessary things. Since you do have to spend around $90 when getting your makeup done, I really appreciated that I walked out with products I genuinely loved. I asked Jade a bunch of questions about the products, and she gave me all the 411 -- super informative, patient, and never made me feel silly for asking. This is either my second or third time getting my makeup done by Jade, and she is an absolute beast at what she does. This store is just incredible overall. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and professional.
