I feel so lucky to have found such a talented aesthetician like Ecila! First off, she is excellent at what she does. I have non-inflammatory, comedonal acne and Ecila performed gentle yet effective extractions. In addition, Ecila is incredibly accommodating and really listens to my concerns. I have very sensitive skin with multiple allergies and she was more than happy to tailor the facial to meet my skin's needs. Finally, Ecila is just a wonderful human being: she is warm, thoughtful, and a joy to talk to. Our time together seems to fly by and I always look forward to my next facial with her. Ecila is the absolute BEST! I have been doing my facial with her for more than 6 months now, starting from her old studio to her own business now. She is not only knowledgeable, professional and always learning about new products, technology and skills. I appreciate her patience and sharing her knowledge with me. I have seen significant improvements in my skin slowly but surely!!! I also love how much she emphasize on sun care and other small things I can do on a daily basis to take care of my skin. It's always a relaxing and fun time doing facial here and it's becoming my routine now! read more

I had an incredible experience with my esthetician Ecila who performed Procell microchanneling. I've done 3 treatments so far and the results are incredible. Not only did it help lift my acne discoloration, but it also left my skin feeling rejuvenated. My complexion has never been this bright and alive. Ecila expertise and care made me feel comfortable throughout the session especially during a time I felt depressed and self cautious. I highly recommend booking a consultation with her for anyone looking to transform their skin and a safe place to be. Thank you for the amazing results girly, I'm forever grateful for your patience and expertise. read more

This Thanksgiving I am most grateful for ECILA!!! I originally planned on seeing her once or twice to alleviate my acne a little. But after the first appointment, I decided to see her regularly. She is so skilled, gentle, sweet, genuine, thoughtful, caring, attentive, funny, and she delivers results!!! In just 6 months she took my face from Accutane candidate to mostly clear. I thought my skin would never recover, but she exceeded every expectation I had. All those reviews that say she is a wizard doing god's work are true!!! I am forever grateful for her. read more

I originally began getting facials here in 2022 and still religiously go multiple times a year. I have always struggled with stubborn acne that was deep beneath my skin. Cilla examined my skin and got to work. I now have the most beautiful skin I have ever had. She provided me with a skin care regiment, and tailors each facial appointment to my skins specific needs. She will be my esthetician for life because she is just that good. read more

Ecila is truly the best. I started going to her only four months ago and within this short span of time, I've already seen such a huge improvement in my skin. My chin used to break out fairly often, but with Ecila's suggestions to my skincare, I barely break out anymore (even when I'm on my period - which is unheard of to me!). Now that my acne is fairly under control, we're working on my pigmentation and I can't wait to see the results in this next year. Not only is she knowledgeable in her expertise, she's super friendly, personable, and so easy to talk to. Prior to my vacation, I went to see her and causally mentioned how anxious international trips make me because my skin always freaks out on me (air quality/jet lag/diet). Ecila ended up doing multiple treatments to help prep my skin for all the upcoming changes. I fully trust Ecila with my skin and highly recommend her to everyone! read more

Ecila is the best. She takes great care of your skin and makes great recommendations to target any skin concerns.

the first facial i've ever received and it really set the standards for what my future facials are to be! i really like how tailored the You Glow treatment was - she asked great questions regarding my skin, addressed concerns, and i felt like i was going to fall asleep! my skin honestly has improved drastically since the first treatment and im considering on going again every couple months. read more

Incredible results with my Procell Micro-channeling!! The last time I had it done was about a year ago with Ecila and I remember I the same exact moment. No filter. No Makeup. Just beautiful skin, thanks to Ecila! This was my FIRST facial ever and I have to say... I understand why people do facials often. Ecila is very informative and talked through each step as I asked her questions. The after care was easy to follow and I can't wait for my next appointment. I've already recommended a few people and they are all obsessed. My skin looks amazing without makeup and the days I wear makeup it applies way smoother since the facial. Highly recommend You Glow Studio, and I can't wait for my next appointment read more

I had a facial back in February because my skin needed a little extra love. I was breaking out and my skin was so dry. Initially went to someone in West Portal but that appointment was brutal. My face felt like burning from the chemicals used and the lady left scars on my face!!! I knew I had to book another appointment soon and came across You Glow Studio on social media. Went to my first appointment earlier this month and I really liked her studio. It was very cute and clean. It's a few minutes drive from where we live and everything was digital so it was easy to book&fill out documents. She's also very responsive when you contact her which is A+ on my book. The products used were not too harsh on my skin and my face felt refreshed after my facial. Already booked my next appointment for next month :) read more

Ecila was awesome! It was my first facial but she was very calming and there wasn't any mystery around anything. + she put me under LED lights while she looked at the ingredients of all my products and let me know which ones had poor clogging ingredients. Then she gave me some free samples of better products. ++when I came back, I bought all the products she recommended and she also gave me a "spot peel" on a new blemish, last second. +++ I had been spending so much time researching products on my own, so it was extremely valuable to finally figure out what I should be using. So much time saved! And my skin is improving swiftly now. ++++ The search for the right products is over! that was incredibly valuable information that not even my Dermatologist gave me. She took the time to look up all the ingredients. Thank you Ecila!! Highly recommend for first-timers if you are unsure about products. read more

This was my first facial in years and I had the best experience with Ecila. She made me feel very comfortable from the jump. I found this spot looking to rejuvenate my skin and saw she was giving a little discount so I decided to give it a shot. She gave a lot of good pointers and felt like she was kindly teaching me how to best treat my skin. I have been doing a skin care routine ever since. She even gave me a little gift bag that inspired me to begin my new routine. Men should take care of their skin! I am definitely letting people know about her and getting some gift cards for my mom to come here soon! Must try if you like facials! read more

Wanted to share this review with my fellow yelpers :) Precovid I used to go to Priscilla at another spa and since she is taking a break.. I haven't gotten a facial in awhile. It was hard to find a good, reliable, and honest esthi. Until I came across Ecila. Ecila was very informative, friendly, and tentative. She checked on her pressure a few times which I appreciated and made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. She was able to pinpoint my problem areas and provided suggestions on how to improve my skin. My wedding is in a few months so I plan to go back monthly so Ecila can work her magic! read more

You Glow Studio - Skin Care Near Me - San Bruno, California

Ecila is very detailed. She keeps a good record of your skin conditions (plus before & after) and that's helpful. To me it's important because it shows what works for your skin. If some are not working she will try something different in hope to get you the kind of result you're looking for. I have gone to facial places where they continuously sell you their services and product. Ecila will not. If you're interested she will talk about it briefly and done. This studio is cute. Private space and quiet. No more hearing others conversation. Very professional. I highly recommend. read more

Ecila is a miracle workerI love her so much! She single handedly saved my skin and improved everything I was insecure about. I went in with concerns about pretty bad forehead acne and cheek scars. I started off with gentle facials, but it wasn't until Ecila explained the need for stronger ones, that she made me realize I was doing everything wrong. I didn't have the home care, nor consistency in taking care of my skin. She told me everything I needed to know and gave me products that I repurchase religiously. I no longer breakout the same way, and now we're working on targeting my scars since I barely have active acne. She's one of the most educated and caring estheticians you could ever go to. Aside from her good work, she's also a great friend and therapist. I recommend her to anyone wanting to improve their skin! read more
