My 11 year old son and I went to see "A Tuna Christmas" last night at the Sam Bass theatre!! What…read morean fabulous show! Two guys play the roles of the whole cast! So funny, we laughed so much! The scene changes were cleverly done and the costume changes for each character were brilliant! The actors never mixed up any of the 21 characters that they played between them. We felt like we had seen 21 different characters in the play. No one missed a line, and here were LOTS of lines! I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone! I had never been to the Sam Bass theatre before and for those who haven't you're in for a real treat! There are 52 seats! Everyone has a great view! There is a little bar area to the left of the theatre where they offer drinks, including wine and beer. Take cash in smaller denominations as it is cash only and the suggested "donation" for drinks start with sodas for one dollar. At the interval there were some little snacks to eat, a fruit platter, cheese and crackers etc, this was complimentary, very generous and welcomed by all! All in all we had a memorable evening and we both absolutely loved it. Thank you to the Sam Bass Theatre, we will be back!!

My husband ordered a sandwich which came in about 30 minutes. We ordered a large cheese pizza which took another hour to come. We waited 90 minutes for the pizza. We were told they were busy but I noticed no one had food for a long time. I wonder if the 'to go' orders were prepared first? Anyway, we were disappointed in the time it took to get a pizza, and that part of our family meal came out a full hour before the pizza.

We have two girls who have been in the dance program at Arts Avenue for four years. They have loved…read moreevery class and every teacher they have ever had! After class they are always happy, encouraged and excited about coming back. We continue to choose Arts Avenue because we know the teachers genuinely care about our girls and provide a loving and encouraging environment for them to learn and grow in dance. This year we have classes with Ms. Kate and Ms. Alex. Ms. Kate is highly qualified with a B.F.A. degree in dance and choreography with many years of professional experience in those areas. She is always kind and patient, but encourages setting goals and challenging her students to grow in their skills. Besides directing the company team (which has been winning lots of competition awards), Kate has choreographed beautiful ballets for the Arts Avenue team performances the past two years. Ms. Alex is currently pursing a degree at Southwestern University with a minor in dance where she is also the Pom Squad Captain. Ms. Alex loves many genres of dance from ballet to hip hop and makes her classes really fun. She is always kind and fun but is also very organized with lesson plans and goals to encourage her students to grow in skills. This year she even organized a fun Pom Camp for the kids with Southwestern University and they were able to perform for the university basketball game. As long as our girls continue to love their teachers and grow in their skills, we will continue to highly recommend Arts Avenue!

Those details--rehearsal schedules, dates, and location--were never communicated. When we asked for clarification, we were told the studio was still working through the details, which is unacceptable given that families had already paid. To make matters worse, the studio attempted to attribute the confusion to my child rather than taking accountability for their lack of communication. It also became clear that the studio prioritizes its competition team, while other students receive significantly less organization and preparation--despite paying for recital participation and costumes. We expected a much higher level of professionalism and transparency.

I've been taking my son to this summer camp for theater since 2022, he's been in 9 productions…read morealready and I can definitely see the tremendous improvement in his acting. This is something that at first he didn't want to to, but as a mother, I knew where his talents were at a very early stage. Of course this is not the only thing he's good at, but in my opinion, kids develop more that just acting skills with the programs offered at this place. Meeting new friends, using movement for expression, working with a group, following directions., creating their own style, among so many other skills I see my son flourish at this place through the years. Even the fact that they're getting comfortable presenting in front of an audience gives these kids the chance to come out of their shell and become more confident. I'll be taking my son here until he's able to go for the summer program. This is definitely an investment into his character.

The server was quick to take our original orders, but follow up was zero. No attempts to get second drinks, any other food, nothing. It wasn't that busy, so I'm not sure why the service was so bad. I flagged him down for my second drink after waiting over an hour, and my friend was still waiting for her beer. It was like our table was in the ignore zone. I would come back again, but would probably order from the bar for drinks. 20% tip was included in the bill because of large party. I'm sure my friend was pissed about that considering her service was terrible. Mine was meh. Overall it was a great evening with friends. The good outweighed the bad, but don't expect great service.
