Although I did need new tires for more than just the one, Louie helped me out and found tires within my price range! I distrust almost all mechanics. It's not so much that they are not trustworthy, it's that it's a business situation where one side has no leverage or knowledge at all. So yeah, I walk into a shop with no faith I won't get screwed over. So it was as I walked into the PP Motorsports the other day. My Range Rover had a strange problem and I had it towed to the nearest shop. The fella whom met me at the front desk that fateful day was Fabian. A guy who took charge and knew my issue right away. I would say he instilled confidence that he could get it fixed quick and would try to keep the rate as reasonable as possible. The next day I was kept up to date as to the status of the vehicle. The part was pricey. I called Range Rover directly and actually confirmed the price was accurate. The following morning I was at work and a knock at the door. Their stood Fabian with my car and keys. I went on September 5 2023 to get a quote for my AC not blowing any air. This was my 2nd visit my 1st visit I was turned around because they were busy and I needed to come earlier in the day which is understandable but maybe the work load is just too much on the company because on September 5th I spoke with the owner who had his team do a diagnosis on my vehicle they needed a couple of hours which I waited from 8:30am til about 11:30am they told me what was wrong and charged me the diagnostic fee which cost me close to $200 I was told that that amount would go towards my service after my car was repaired day one they told me they were looking for a used part and would get back to me on the cost of my service the next day I didn't receive a call so I called he explained that he had just got back into the country and needed more time and would call me back the next day which would be Sep 7th I heard nothing so on Sept 9th I called again and the owner sounded irritated with me saying he'll just tell me the expensive price with the new part since I can't wait for him to call me back( btw I never asked for a used part he suggested it) I asked for a quote with a new and used part after it was diagnosed I also never said I couldn't wait for him to contact me back I was simply being a helpful customer being that I am a business owner and understanding that he is one owner with 100's of customers and not expecting him to remember to call me back (even though he should) so ok fast forward to Sept 12 I texted again after hearing nothing from anyone asking about the part and quote I was told to contact the shop I guess the owner was tired of my calls so I called the shop and spoke with his son after calling about 4/5 times he explained that it was a dealer part and they were waiting to hear back from the dealer about the part then he would call me back so here I am today Sept 21st and I haven't heard from anyone at all about the part or the quote!!! I would never suggest anyone go there without maybe looking like money I'm gonna leave a bad review on every site that I can and I'm gonna tell everyone that I can about my bad experience I was willing to pay whatever for my AC because it's Florida off course. brought my car to Performance Plus Motor Sports to have some work done. They assured me his crew would be able to work on a high performance sport car. They recommended that I replace the engine. After several attempts my car has no power ,stalls out, leaks oil and the NEW engine smokes. I was shocked to discover they used tie wraps to hold the under carriage cover to the brake line. Hector/Carlos In response to your 9/4/19 post, you referred to a "Special Part Order" for my car that you said was never paid for it. That's because it did not fix the problem with my car. What you ordered was a "MASS AIR FLOW". After taking my car to a HIGH PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST, he discovered what actually needed was a Temperature sensor!!! As for the rental car, it was under my name. I picked up and returned the car. IF there was any damage, in any way as you are claiming my credit card would have been charger damages at time of drop off. That never Happened! It's to bad your shop was not equipped to find and fix the problem the right way, instead of me having to bring it to another shop after $7000.00 later only to find out I was in need of a $55.00 part. My car is back to corner on rails..... Instead of closing down your google account to get rid of all your bad reviews only to re-open a new one, that's dishonest and miss leading. Pay more attention to details and double check all work going out of your shop. read more
