I've NEVER had someone explain window tinting as throughly as he did. As a lady in a car shop, I never felt like I was being spoken down to or my opinions being ignored. Great service and professional team of guys. This is my 3rd time doing business with these guys. My windshield was replaced and tinted perfect. previously, I had all my windows on my truck tinted and had the following done. A 360 degree camera system installed, Door handle scratch protectors and side door protectors, and roll up bed protector. The worst business ever! I went last week to get a quote for getting tinted windows. 3 men were outside when I pulled up. they did not speak or acknowledge me. I was the only customer there. they just left me in the parking lot. after waiting 10 minutes no one asked if I needed help or anything. I got out, the guys went into opposite sides of the building and would not assist me. I knocked on the door. they did not answer. I left. I went back this morning because I was curious at this point if it was a race thing or customer service just sucks. I drove up and saw two of the same guys speaking to each other. i drove up to Parking area and waited. same thing! they did not say a word to me- not may we help you- nothing! instead of getting out because I know they saw me- I pulled up next to them. I retreated and will never go back or recommend their business to anyone. very poor customer service!!! read more

After arriving for my appointment, I was told the price would be more than they quoted me the week before. This should've been my sign. I told them they entered the information into their computer system, but they failed to look at the information while I was at the store. After I left, they called and texted me telling me that indeed the quoted price was in the system. I agreed to come back for the agreed upon service. After the service was performed, a large hole was noted in my bumper. I notified the shop of the issue. I arrived at the shop when they opened and was shown a video of how the damage occurred. It was an accident (which happens). Initially the manager said they'd take care of everything, but then he changed his mind stating there was preexisting damage-even though there's no proof of preexisting damage. They did 2 different intake forms for my vehicle, and neither noted any damage on the bumper. My bumper had no damage or holes prior to my arrival-their video evidence supports this. The only thing we have proof of is that the technician damage my bumper, to the point it is in no longer functional and needs to be replaced. They admitted to the damage but refused to replace the bumper due to unproven "preexisting damage". What are the odds that a 9 day old car has damage and is then damaged again in the same exact spot and is caught on camera? I bet my odds are better to win the lottery. Sad thing is, tbey are nice enough guys and did a good jobs on the tint, just be aware that they won't fix damage done at their facility. I discussed the situation at length with the manager. He asked for a 3 days to review the video to prove there was existing damage. I agreed to the time frame but never heard back. read more

Before coming out to PPS, I put out a request for quote to about 10 different groups on Yelp. I provided fairly detailed information on the project, the parts I had, what I was able to do on my own, where I ran into trouble and what was left to do based on my understanding. Victor was the first to respond and was happy to engage in conversation. We went back and forth 1-2 times before anyone else responded. He gave me a quote, as well as a rate and time estimate so I understood where he was coming from (which I greatly appreciated). More than half of the groups I reached out to did not engage and just said "come on by and we'll take a look", which defeated the purpose of asking for a quote and providing the detail I did. At this point I was down to two options. They had engaged, provided good information and made me feel like they understood the project. I went with PPS, and set a time to come by (2 days after initial contact). There were a few people there already so there was a short wait, but ultimately the work was done quickly (inside the initial estimate) and professionally. They even helped correct a mistake I had made when I had started the project myself. Tito did a great job. I don't often have need for these kinds of services... but the next time I do I'm coming back to Victor (even if I do have to drive 45 minutes to get there). read more

I didn't use them and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Talked with owner online and was quoted a price. Was never once asked if I had tint on my windows. Nothing. Just told a price and to come on in. Surprise surprise when I arrive they immediately try and sell me a tint costing almost 100 more. They also acted as though the price I was stating didn't exist. I was then advised that I had tint on my windows already as though I couldn't clearly see that. Smh. Rude and deceptive business. Stay clear. Unless you don't mind being scammed. Owner tried to explain his guy didn't know a special price. Lol. But still wanted to charge for removing tint when again if he had asked that simple question I would have told him I had tint to begin with. I was not being in any way deceptive. If you have pets, don't even bother showing up. The soy boys there apparently don't know what Claritin is because after I called and discussed the install for a pre-purchased rear view and back-up camera for my Ford truck, made the appointment, drove 20+ miles, filled out paperwork, did the walkaround, decided where the backup cam would be best situated, handed over the keys, and walked over to Denny's, I got a call saying they couldn't install because... get this... there was dog hair in the cab. If I weren't so pissed, I'd have to laugh. If your guys were so sensitive that after 2 minutes they couldn't work on the job... maybe you ought to say something to the customer ahead of time? Especially given that so many people have pets that ride in vehicles - especially trucks. I dunno... just a thought. I told them I would take it over to a nearby car wash and have it vacuumed, but they said it needed to be detailed. Are you freaking kidding me?? I wish I could upload a photo of the interior because, while there is dog hair in the carpet, it's not like a filthy truck or anything and there's not a ton of it as it's vacuumed out every couple of weeks at the local car wash. ANYWAY.... went over to Best Buy up the road, showed them the camera, they looked at the truck, told them about the weenies over at Performance Pit, and the installer from Geek Squad chuckled. He said it sounds like maybe they didn't want to do the job because that was a really lame reason. I'll reserve judgment on that and give them the benefit of the doubt, but wow. Just wow. As it turns out, I pre-paid Best Buy, and it came to $40 less than quoted from Performance Pit. That included the sales tax AND the $20 tubing to protect wires under the carriage AND the adaptor to hide the 12V power supply. Guess where I WON'T be taking my Jag to get a new stereo and tinting removed then re-applied?? read more

Went in for a loose hid connection. Guy talked me into replacing the whole system, which wasn't necessary. When I got my truck back, the turn signal stem came out of the steering column, it was broken. They said it wasn't them, though it was perfect when it went in. I think they might have purposely done this because I wouldn't upgrade to more stuff. Find someone else to do your lights. read more

I was in need of a new radio for my Jeep and Performance Pit Shop had the best selection. Both Diego and Victor were extremely helpful in walking me through the features of each radio, as well as what I would need to keep certain features that were controlled by the original factory radio.
