I chose this shop because of the reviews but I learned a great deal today. Never go on the reviews alone. My experience could've been better however that wasn't the case. I contacted Tint Studio a few weeks ago to inquire about a quote and/or replacing film that was bubbling on the back of my car window. During the call, I think I was speaking to the owner, he was friendly and I was quoted a different price from what I was charged today. When I arrived at the shop this morning, the customer service was lacking a lot. Granted, I arrived a little behind schedule because my GPS was off with the address. The man in the shop was assisting another customer (which was fine) therefore I patiently waited until he was available. When he got to me, he appeared annoyed didn't really greet or reiterate what was being done to my car. Just asked for my keys, confirmed phone number and said he would call when he's finished. When I arrived to pay and pick up my car, the total was provided and I noticed the bill was $57.89 more. I brought the price increase to his attention and his response was it's due to the taxes in FL. I guess I looked slow or didn't look like a person who can do simple math but this increase was not due to FL taxes. After looking at the receipt closely, I was also charged a $7.10 non cash adjustment fee. It would've taken 1-2 minutes to give a heads up on this fee because I could've went to an ATM and got cash. I didn't have the time on my busy schedule to waste or go back and forth so I paid my bill and left. As a customer, it wasn't fair business to provide a quote that was not applicable the day of service or communicate with me about changed prices. Enjoy the extra funds, I have no plans to refer nor do business here again. UPDATE: Thank you for your response. I don't have any issue with paying sales tax to any business and as a entrepreneur myself I'm well aware of "business practices". My message directly addresses two main components that I had issues with, 1) a quoted price that was provided a few weeks ago that was different in the final bill and 2) the lacking customer service experienced during the process. I'm accustomed to final billings being broken down (i.e. price quoted + fees + taxes). The price of $120.00 that was initially quoted to me a few weeks ago and the 8% - 9% tax that the guy informed today was your FL sales tax. All together, the bill would've been roughly around $130.00, additional fees would have brought the final bill to approximately $145.00. The breakdown for the bill today includes $39.95 extra from the original price quoted, $5.95 shop fee (No problem with this fee), $11.99 (No problem with this sales tax fee) and $7.10 non cash adjustment fee (I have a problem with this fee since it was failed to be mention prior or during the consultation process.) Honest communication is always the key if that's what your business is based on (word for word) and it never hurt any employer who is dealing with customers to have an upbeat and positive energy. TLDR: DONT COME HERE BECAUSE THEY WILL TELL YOU ONE PRICE AND THEN CHARGE YOU DOUBLE WHEN YOU SHOW UP! Called in to get the price of tint installed. They told me that it would be $220 for all windows and full windshield. They said the next available was three weeks away. I scheduled the appointment because it was the best price I have found. I show up to the appointment and the guy I talked on the phone with comes out to greet me. I say I'm here for my appointment and he asks "what did you want again?" I explained that I had I wanted tint on all the windows and the windshield. The guy said "I don't remember the price I told you. That call was three weeks ago. Your cost today will be $440." I tried talking to him and asked to work with me because I can not pay $440 when other companies quoted me $280 for the same job and I just waited 3 weeks because you were cheaper. They said they can not do any cheaper than $440. Save your time and money. Go somewhere else. read more

So I went through a lot of yelp reviews and businesses to find the right tint place and I'm really happy with who I decided on. Tint studio is awesome. Theirs two guys who work there and they do an awesome job. I called and got an appointment a day or two later. Now the location is kind of weird because it's kind of hidden in the back of a plaza but as long as you pay attention you'll find it. Once I got there they immediately took my truck back and got to work. They said it would take less than an hour and honestly I think they got it done in 30 minutes. The tint looks perfect and it made my truck look a lot better compared to my old faded tint I had on there. All in all if you want your tint done right and for a good price check out Tint Studio. Called a few weeks ago about getting my tint redone on a car that my dad handed down to me. Told me I needed the receipt for the warranty. This was done in 2009 who the hell keeps a receipt like that for so long. You would think they would have it through the vin number but naw....very disappointing. read more

Bought a new Cadillac SRX and noticed almost immediately that the windows were not tinted and I already could not stand the heat from the sun, so knew I'd never get through the scorching Florida summer without tinting the windows. Our Caddy dealer recommended Tint Studio. $159 to do the whole car with the exception of the windshield since that is ILLEGAL to do, but put a 6" wide strip along the top of the windshield for some protection. The work was very well done, the sun no longer blares through the side windows. I'm very pleased. They did, however, dirty the inside of our car in the process and did not clean up after themselves so our brand new floor mats were dirty and had to be cleaned when hubby got home with the car. He was not happy. Other than this, we are very happy with the job done. read more

#240 Brought our SRX here for window tinting when the sun became too much for us. Our Cad salesmen recommended Tint Studio as his choice of window tinting places. I went in and spoke with the owner who gave a demo of what tinting would give us and was quoted a price. Seemed fair enough and we made the appointment. Be aware that TS is a busy place and you'll have to wait a few days to get in. The day of our tinting I showed up early and was taken immediately as the previous appointment was a no show. The tinting took a little more than an hour and I waited there. The tinting is very nice, looks great and the installation seems very professional. On the not so great side there was black marks on the drivers side carpet and floor mat obviously from one of the workers shoes. Went home and took a stiff brush along with carpet cleaner (Resolve) and the dirty spots cleaned up nicely. Very disappointed that TS didn't: 1. Put protective paper mats on the floor like most places do. They have high end cars in there that should have floor protection. The car after us was an Audi A7. 2. TS missed the fact that they left the black on the carpeting. 3. If they did notice they didn't say anything. Do I reccomend TS? Yes but make sure your carpeting is going to be protected before you hand over those keys. Oh, I give Resolve Carpet Cleaner 5 stars! read more

I just purchased my Tahoe and needed the front two windows to match the remainder of the vehicle. they fit me in on a Friday afternoon (430pm) .
