A Quality business in every virtual aspect. As a referral to my background I've owned, installed and built my own car sound systems since the age of 14 (currently 23) . After countless bouts with rigging my own systems, I'd decided to sit this one out and let the professionals do the job given the fact the system I'd purchased was for my girl friends vehicle. I purchased two 10'' 1200 watt (600 RMS) triton subwoofers + amp. First , from a consumers/buyers perspective you want and expect certain things from a company that vary from each individual . Keeping that in mind you also want ,in general, a company to be state of the art and in tune with current industry standards . Performance Pit Shop provided all of that . From demonstrating different systems on the showroom floor to recommending setups dependent on your car; they hit their mark. Although their sales tactics model typical car lot salesmen ( ex. offering upgrades or up-selling) they never over indulge the notion to the point of alienating you as the consumer/buyer . As I specified before, I have fairly good knowledge of car audio engineering and the plethora of brands associated with the market ,that being the case they never tried to school me or offer unsolicited information like most audio shops tend to do. Most shops tell you what to do and what you should put in your vehicle and bash you for voicing an opposing point. As if the sound system is going in their own vehicle they none the less act as know it alls. In conclusion this shop is a good business and the install was seamless . The techs put everything back where it was supposed to be , down to the clips and screws that are often left out because most people don't care to check for those things. One side note , I withheld a star do to there onsite inventory lacking some brands I preferred . As picky as that sounds I prefer variety and/or options where everything is on hand/displayed and dosen't need to be ordered in. Definitely will do business with them in the future . read more

Went to get my windows tinted and the installers found and issue with my car windows. I just bought the car. They could have just done the tint and not cared. It took about 2 weeks to get the dealership to fix the issue. I went back and got the windows tinted and they came out great! read more

Got new headlights installed and a radio upgrade for my F-150 and let me just an amazing job! It looks good and sounds great. All the guys were very professional and explained how to use and set up the radio, oh and did I mention good prices too. I highly recommend they also do window tint and so much more. They did an excellent job installing the window tint on my vehicle. The only problem I have with them is that I requested limo tint on my windshield strip and they used the same tint as the front windows. Unfortunately, it didn't register with me immediately. It was several weeks later that I realized the tint was the wrong one. So they got paid and I have a tint strip different than what I requested. read more

Performance Pit Shop came highly recommended by my sister who had them tint the windows of her brand new 2020 Honda. I was a little envious as her tints came out looking much better than the job a prior shop had done on my Porsche. She raved about them so much that I decided to give them a call. I also had previously ordered some custom made carbon fiber interior center console pieces for my car, and was looking for some reputable shops who would take the time to perform a clean install. I also needed my tints re-done, and my headlights restored. Upon briefly speaking with Diego, I could sense the respect and honesty in his voice. I decided to book an appointment and make the trip to the shop, which would turn out to be the best decision i made that week. Upon arrival, Diego inspected my car, explaining the process involved, the different types of tints they used, and also made recommendations on the best tints he would recommend on an exotic car. I was very impressed at how fair and honest he was on not only the price, but the labor timeframe such a job would require, since I had done prior research and gotten estimates from other shops including my local Porsche dealership. I'm still in awe on the finished product!..the new tints done on my car has totally transformed the look of my car! So much so that thinking about how much I paid the prior shop who did my tints prior for what I now see was a mediocre job, doesn't hurt as much lol. My headlights that Performance Pit restored also came out amazingly clear and now looks even better that it did when I purchased the car! They even took the liberty of installing protective vinyl on them to make sure they stay bright for years to come! The carbon fiber interior work was so meticulously installed, that there were absolutely zero scratches on any of the pieces (which was what I was originally worried about). They even cleaned up the interior and the mats for me to make sure they left no dirt behind! Talk about customer service!. All in all, I am not only satisfied, but I will definitely be bringing more projects their way, as they have gained a customer for life! read more

Cancelled an appointment where I usually get my tint done to come here because they wrote down the wrong appt. Well there loss. Now when I buy a new car I will be coming here. They called to confirm my appt the day before. When I got there they explained the different grades of tint and never pressured me in to one kind. After choosing what I thought was best for me he was very thorough in what I was to expect. I went with the best that had a warranty. I decided to get a strip across the front and he told me I might not like it because of the little black dots sometimes turn white. Well mine came out perfect. I was very concerned that the suede on my doors would be stained by the application of the tint and they a wonderful job and were very careful to keep me car perfect. I'd recommend them for sure. I just came from your shop ! Well the appointment was at 1:00 pm. I reached there 12:58 pm sharp. Waited for 1 hour, the work was supposed to complete in 40 minutes. After 1 hour, wow !! NO WORK DONE !! I was waiting inside this shop, and no one even told me that it is going be delayed.... At the end of 1 hour of waiting, when I asked is it done, the answer was - No we have not started doing your car. It is going to take another 40 minutes !! Jesus ! Well, you are apologizing, but how do I get my 1 hour back that I wasted... . Guys where from earth you have come and opened this shop? The worst experience I ever had in my life . Learn something, time once lost, never going to come back. You wasted my time. I would have spent happily with my family on Saturday. People, please be aware... Made an appt for my Audi, stopped by a day early to see if I could drop off my car, No problem. The team was very professional, I even got my wife two front windows done while we got lunch. The work on her car was top notch and I knew Audi would look good too. The Audi required extra work ( the door panels needed to be removed ). They called a week later to check on their work. Make sure you read other bad reviews, smh I wish I did. I just got my windows tinted by them a couple hours ago; sadly I can't say I had the greatest experience. There were some miscommunication regarding the pricing. I feel as the professionalism was lacking. I told the representative that I didn't want to spend over $250- give and take $300 for an additional fees such as warranty. This was my first time doing this; I called ahead of time to ask about pricing and I was given the quote of $160 for my little Lexus hatchback. But when I walked in the appointment and was presented the options, all of the sudden their lowest tier was over $200. I was confused. Than when I agreed on their second tier option --because I wanted warranty. I signed for the total price of around $350 (this included the windows and the windshield). That where it goes south; they call letting me know my car was done-- again I ask for the price to double check I took out enough. Than all of the sudden the price was $500. I ask how ! And the rep said taxes, there was no way. They charged me a additional $130 for the windshield; and told me he wrote the price of everything in the corner of the paper. No sir ! You could have written anything after I signed the paperwork that was not the agreed price. In a nut shell I asked them to remove the windshield tint; they wouldn't and gave me it half off without the warranty. With taxes the total was $440. To top that, the customer service nose dived after-- they left white stuff all over my car. I wouldn't recommend at all; never sign without seeing the finished product! read more

Very disappointed. I went to this shop initially to purchase HID bulbs to add to my truck. When I put them in with the ballast I had they did not work. I went back to the shop and they recommended I purchase their ballast and have them do the install so that is what we did. Went home and had issues with the lights not coming on and flashing. I took the truck back and was told I needed to add relays and capacitor(canbus) to fix the problem so I purchased them and they installed them. Well after all of that the lights still flash off and on. They also still sometimes do not come on at all. I took the truck an additional 2 times to try to get it fixed. It got to the point where I did not want to drive my truck at night because I was not sure if my lights would work. On the last attempt to fix the lights the person at their shop disconnected the relay power and connected it straight to the original headlight plug which would not give enough power to allow the lights to work properly. So I went in and said I really don't feel safe with them, I also pointed out how they hooked up the system incorrectly. The owner said no problem I will give you back all of you money. I went inside while he took my truck in the back to remove their equipment and put back my factory bulbs. While inside I gave them my receipts to show the series of purchases I made with them. I was asked if I speak spanish and I do not. At this point the person working the desk started explaining everything that lead to me asking for a refund to the owners wife. Although I don't speak spanish the way she responded to him and kept looking at me and my wife I am sure she was not wanting to make things right. I cannot say if she said anything negative towards us but her looks and the way she spoke made me feel insulted. Eventually they agreed to refund me for the equipment but would not refund me for the installation even though the lights never worked correctly and I pointed out to the owner that is was wrong the final time I got back from them saying it was fixed. All I wanted was the lights to work as I have had other vehicles done here before but it does not seem like they know how to run the wire on newer GM vehicles. I have a 2015 Tahoe that during this whole time I was worried about driving at night. If I did not feel that they I was being talked about and watched like I was a criminal when I went in to resolve this I would not even put this review but I will not tolerate being treated the way the owners wife behaved. I also do not think it was fair for them to not refund installation since they did not do it correctly and I had to go back 5 times for them to try to fix it. read more

Amazing customer service. I called to get some info on led and hid lighting. These guys understood that I was trying to have something done that wasn't a normal request and they didn't feel comfortable doing the work on my truck because what I wanted was truly hard to guarantee. Their honesty probably saved me months of aggravation. They earned a customer but being honest and taking the time to answer my questions over the phone. I came to this shop for a simply tint job. Called for a quote, but was quoted a different price when I showed in person. I went to this place out of convenience, as the place is only a few minutes from my home. Not the shop I normally go to. This place was anything but convenient. Already unhappy with the quote I was given I decided to proceed with giving the job to the shop anyway. After a few minutes of bad customer service and point less waiting around I was then told that they were booked for day and needed to make an appointment. I was charged a 20$ advance to book the appointment (comes off the total) for the following week. They were finally able to do the job after having to reschedule twice. I had an appointment and still had to wait around to be seen. The tint job took roughly two and a half hours to complete. I've never had a basic tint job last longer than an hour, so that was a bit unusual to me. I also was charged additional because there was residue left behind on the windows from a previous tint job by the previous owner of the vehicle ( something i couldn't control but paid for anyway). Overall, it was just a bad experience. This shop will not be receiving any more business from me. I would NOT recommend this place to any of my peers. I'm giving this place 2 stars only because Victor was a pleasant person to talk to and tint job was sub-par/decent. read more

James Sheets I have used PPS for a lot of accessories and have been happy with everything. Victor is very helpful and suggests accessories for your vehicle. My past experiences with PPS, front doors tinted, HID head lamps, interior HID lighting and light over rear license plate, fog lights installed with HID lights, and day time running lights. I recently stopped by Performance Pit Shop for window tinting on my new 2016 Accord Sport. I didn't have an appointment neither have too much time to do the job but these guys took care of my request fast. They were friendly and courteous and the price was reasonable. They did a fantastic job and I was so happy with their service that I end up also installing a new HID kit which makes the car looks awesome. So far the best window tinting I have done in all my cars in the past 12 years. I would recommend this place to anyone and definitely will come back for more services soon. Fortunately I'm not getting any work done at this place. Went there to see how much it will be to have my car re-tinted. Quoted me one price, then says but I can give you a deal. (Seems like there are no set prices in this place, from what I overheard with other customers while there, everything has a range) Ok, well I have a warranty on my car from another place, I leave a copy of it to see if this place would honor the warranty and was told I would get a call back. I go out if town, during that time no call back. I call back a week later, and ask what's going on? "Oh your claim was denied because we dont do a lot of business with this company". What does that have to do with honoring the warranty?? And why do I have to call back to get this info. Beware this place is shady. read more

I'm not to happy with the service here. I go to this place to tint my cars and I have brought several cars and have also referred others. I always got a good price and the owner even advertises on Craigslist to have tint installed for $100. Now last month I bought a new Jetta, and mentioned the special and they say it will cost me $140 because "it's a Volkswagen." The funny thing is the last car I brought in was my 2013 VW Passat, which is the exact same body style, just bigger and I got the price. My lease ended on that and I bought this car and wanted tint. Now he wants to charge me more because it's a Jetta that uses less material then my Passat. What a joke, price gauging at its finest. I'm no longer referring my friends here, nor bringing my cars back. Beware of the prices they advertise because they will find a way to get you. read more

Great group of people and very professional. I've had them install a Double-DIN on my 2004 STi and it worked great. Then recently I had them install tint on my 2016 STi and looks great. Also just last week they installed a Double-DIN, with steering wheel controls, and a backup camera on my gf's 2005 Camry and everything works great. Reasonably priced too. Very knowledgeable and I would recommend anyone to go here for your audio/tint needs. read more
