If you have pets, don't even bother showing up. The soy boys there apparently don't know what Claritin is because after I called and discussed the install for a pre-purchased rear view and back-up camera for my Ford truck, made the appointment, drove 20+ miles, filled out paperwork, did the walkaround, decided where the backup cam would be best situated, handed over the keys, and walked over to Denny's, I got a call saying they couldn't install because... get this... there was dog hair in the cab. If I weren't so pissed, I'd have to laugh. If your guys were so sensitive that after 2 minutes they couldn't work on the job... maybe you ought to say something to the customer ahead of time? Especially given that so many people have pets that ride in vehicles - especially trucks. I dunno... just a thought. I told them I would take it over to a nearby car wash and have it vacuumed, but they said it needed to be detailed. Are you freaking kidding me?? I wish I could upload a photo of the interior because, while there is dog hair in the carpet, it's not like a filthy truck or anything and there's not a ton of it as it's vacuumed out every couple of weeks at the local car wash. ANYWAY.... went over to Best Buy up the road, showed them the camera, they looked at the truck, told them about the weenies over at Performance Pit, and the installer from Geek Squad chuckled. He said it sounds like maybe they didn't want to do the job because that was a really lame reason. I'll reserve judgment on that and give them the benefit of the doubt, but wow. Just wow. As it turns out, I pre-paid Best Buy, and it came to $40 less than quoted from Performance Pit. That included the sales tax AND the $20 tubing to protect wires under the carriage AND the adaptor to hide the 12V power supply. Guess where I WON'T be taking my Jag to get a new stereo and tinting removed then re-applied?? read more

Over the years I've gone to quite a few audio shops for system installations whenever I pick up an older model vehicle. These folks are the best that I've had the pleasure of working with in that time. Jesus was great to chat with and took the time to figure out what I was really looking for and match the head unit to what I was describing as it was for a 350Z that I drive about 30 miles a day. The install looks great with clean lines and you can tell that they really cared about the final look. Same thing with the subwoofer behind the seat as aside from the sound coming from there you can't tell that it's not the original unit from just looking at it. Went to pick the car up and end up chatting with Victor about tinting the windows and decided to get it all the way around. Again, the end product is neat and clean. I couldn't be happier with the final results. Guess next it's going to be getting new lights as we just took a second car in for a new radio and they duplicated the end results and went so far as to mount the front/rear cameras where you can barely even notice them. I have been searching for a window tint place for weeks. I had called a couple of shops and they only gave me a few seconds of information. I called Performance Pit Shop and the Owner took his time to explain everything about their window tint options. I proceed to make an appointment and I was greeted right away and was offer a bottle of water. While I was there their parking lot was so full that people where having hard time finding a spot. Anyways Victor the owner gave me all the details on their window tint and advice to go with their Suntek CXP which did most of the Job of a window tint. While I was sitting down in their waiting room a manager in the store offer a 90 day program for any car stereo or subwoofer options. I decided to apply for it and got approved in 5 minutes. I then decided to go with their Sony 12inch subwoofer package which made a vehicle sound really good. Performance Pit Shop is very helpful ,knowledgeable, and professional. They practice social distience. before entering you have to use hand sanitizer, wear face coverings, and remain six feet apart. They explained in detail the work they would be doing for me ,they gave me a great price. when looking the vehicle over I asked that they do additional work they had not quoted me on and he said yes we would do for you. He did the extra work FOR FREE . Wow, who does that. They are the best I was so surprised how great my vehicle looks. They helped my new SUV Cadillac XT5 stay looking new. I had a great experience at this shop! I just bought a used 2013 Expedition EL in great condition but the only thing missing was tint! My family and I live in Texas and we were in town for a family event. I found the shop and took it there and talked to Victor about getting tint on all the windows. He explained to me that all the windows were already tinted from the factory. Didn't know that cause the factory did a lossy job!! Anyways. He looked up the legal tint darkness for Texas (cause we have inspections annually) and was able to tint to tint the back windows and put a strip on the windshield. They did an awesome job! They did it legally and for good price! Would definitely recommend them for my tinting needs. Y'all should too! read more

I have occasionally passed in the area of the shop location and noticed how busy the area appeared to be but I needed a small job done on my Jeep and had to make a decision. Really great service. This was my second visit because I was so impressed with the first. Coordinated with Jonathan to get both of our vehicles in and completed on the same day. we had front window tinting and ceramic paint coating on both and they look great. To make it more difficult one vehicle already had a rock star in the front window that needed replacing and they were able to do all this in one day. Where to start, this was an excellent decision to come here... The installer, the owner and the sales people really work well together and provide an excellent experience.
