This outlet has pretty much…read moreall the bases covered when it comes to the typical tools that a DIY guy would ever need and also has a decent selection of contractor grade tools as well. Tools that I saw while at the Pontiac store included all the typical hand tools you would ever need and expect to see in places like Lowes and Home Depot to include both A/C and battery operated DC tools. Also you will find Jacks, air compressors and large assortment of air tools, Paint compressors and paint guns, generators, large assortment of yard tools, tool boxes, band saws, grinders, jack hammers, mitre saws, table saws and the list goes on and on..... On this particular trip I was on a mission to find a new compressor to replace my 25 year old Craftsman compressor that had just failed. I ended up going with a fortress 2 gallon model that was ultra quiet with a brushless motor for hopefully long life. The cost was a very reasonable $179 for a model of this type/performance and was backed with hundreds of reviews rated at nearly 5 stars. As these tools are Harbor Freight branded tools and are not usually included in the typical tool reviews/comparisons you see on line like the major brands you typically find in Home Depot/Lowes, the key to getting a good reliable tool are these reviews (of which there are many) that give a discerning customer like myself the comfort in knowing I have purchased a solid/reliable tool. Aside from the compressor I also bought a high quality rubber air hose and tire inflator/gage at a cost roughly half of what you would pay at the other aforementioned tool stores. Being retired, savings like this are very very important to me and are what makes me keep coming back to Harbor Freight tools. Overall, if you are a DIY guy and looking to get a good tool at a reasonable cost you should definately check out one of the Harbor Freight outlet stores in your area or visit them on line. You definately will not be disappointed if you do.

The final straw that caused me to write this review was an attempt to return a few items. The associate at the desk was clearly very inconvenienced by the fact that I did not have a receipt and had to look up my membership to find the items in my purchase history. Before relocating from Keego Harbor, MI to San Angelo we purchased 2 ceiling fans for our San Angelo condo. Not sure what happened during our chaotic move, we discovered that one light didn't work after installing them in our condo a month after moving in. I emailed Menards customer service and explained that we purchased them in MI and installed them in TX with no way to easily return/exchange it for another fan. Menards doesn't have a store (yet) in TX. Linda w/Menards customer service took the bull by the horns and within 2 weeks we received not 1 but 2 light replacements for the ceiling fans. Talk about GREAT out of state customer service! Menards is simply the BEST. They could have said "you need to return the defective fan for a refund".
