    Damaged pickup order

    Horrible experience this weekend with a pre-ordered pickup item. First off, I called the day of to ask what the pickup system was, having never done pickup at this store. I was told to enter the furthest lane to the right on the backside of the building, and that there would be directions on what to do there. Since I had an online order I had no barcode to scan, per the machine, and being that their call button was broken, I called inside again, and was told to go through the deliveries line. The gentleman who waited on me stared at me, said NOTHING, as I tried to explain that I didn't have a barcode blah blah. He finally, and with as much exasperation as he could muster, asked for my confirmation number. Once I was in the lot I called the posted number, and my item was put into my car for me. All good, or so I thought. As soon as I got home and went to grab my item it was VERY OBVIOUS that the box was torn and the item inside damaged (evident through the tear in the box). So the woman who put the item in my car did so knowing it was damaged. Cool. Called Menards and asked to speak to the manager; as soon as I explained my issue/concern, she literally transferred me back to the pickup dept. No apologies from anyone. Listen, I get that you're busy, but at the very least--apologize. Im not looking for money off, or even a discount. Im looking for someone to day, "jeepers! Sorry we wasted your time." So, not only did I have to go there once, but two days in a row, and got to go through the same rigamarole again! The only saving grace was the high school/college aged gentleman that helped on Sunday was ridiculously helpful and kind. We'll skip this location in future.

    It's a hard time with Covid 19 changing the way businesses are run. Manards has done a fantastic job over staying open while enforcing the social distancing. They've hired Pinkerton security agents to help as well. The store has kept the shelves well stocked and that's been a relief because it's been slim pickings at all my other favorite shopping centers. The staff is friendly and cheerful even with the possible worry of becoming sick. I had 3 items I needed and the staff guided me through the store to all my items. This store opened about a year back and they've impressed me every time I've came here. Lots of parking and plenty of sales and good deals around every corner. I always walk in and checkout with more items than I planned on buying. Good deals always get me. Try them and you'll be glad you did.

    My husband and I were looking at different vanity's that's when Coby approached us, what a help he was and we bought! Great service!

    Bad customer service. Manager was very short and Will not be returning. I'll be going to Home Depot from now on.
