When I said yes and explained what I needed, she immediately said, "We have those, right this way and I'll show you right where they are". Upon showing me the item in package form, I explained it was hard to tell if the size was correct, plus I only needed one. Rebeccah explained that they also have them in bulk and she lead me right to them, took them off the shelf and handed one to me to compare to the sample I brought. When I verified the size she filled out the required envelope, put the item into the envelope and asked if there was anything I needed. After hearing that was all, she very nicely started walking with me towards the register and once she saw I was headed the right way she told me to have a wonderful day. The only way my shopping experience could have been better would have been if this young woman delivered the item to my door. Rebeccah is a real credit to Stone's Ace Hardware and I sure hope she gets some recognition for being such a great Associate.

I tried to find one in-store, but most only have one floor model that they can't spare. The manager here (I feel terrible for having forgotten her name) went above and beyond trying to help. It was kind enough that she searched for stores with an excess of floor models that might be willing to sell a spare to me. She actually called me again a day later to tell me she'd been thinking on the problem after we spoke and found a store closing that would be willing to sell their floor model. Honestly, some of the best customer service I've ever received.

Harbor Freight Tools is my go-to for every urgent need for tools (i.e., sockets, screwdrivers,…read morewrenches, etc.), dollies, moving carts, safety gear like gloves, and face shields. They're located in most major cities, and they're cheaper for similar items at the bigger name stores. I ended up returning all of the things I had purchased from the bigger chain. For example, cheap safety glasses were around $2.50, while the big box store chain had a similar pair for about $8.00. Most importantly, I wish I would have gotten the cashier's name because he made several suggestions, which assisted my project team. He understood that I needed him to write down what he was saying since I am Deaf.

Sure, you might bet thinking that something like this isn't hard to do, and you're right, but the fact that they took the time and cared sets them apart. Very impressed and highly recommended for any of your home/yard needs.

Well then the store told me that all they warranty the keyfob for is 90 days. Then they told me to contact the manufacturer. Unfortunately the manufacturer is in Australia and will not respond to my emails. Ace is almost always my first stop for anything hardware, but in the future, I definitely will never again buy their KeyFobs. I then went to my local locksmith and will see if their product will last any longer than Ace's KeyFobs.

Nice discount tool outlet store with brands unique to Harbor Freight. This outlet has pretty much…read moreall the bases covered when it comes to the typical tools that a DIY guy would ever need and also has a decent selection of contractor grade tools as well. Tools that I saw while at the Pontiac store included all the typical hand tools you would ever need and expect to see in places like Lowes and Home Depot to include both A/C and battery operated DC tools. Also you will find Jacks, air compressors and large assortment of air tools, Paint compressors and paint guns, generators, large assortment of yard tools, tool boxes, band saws, grinders, jack hammers, mitre saws, table saws and the list goes on and on..... On this particular trip I was on a mission to find a new compressor to replace my 25 year old Craftsman compressor that had just failed. I ended up going with a fortress 2 gallon model that was ultra quiet with a brushless motor for hopefully long life. The cost was a very reasonable $179 for a model of this type/performance and was backed with hundreds of reviews rated at nearly 5 stars. As these tools are Harbor Freight branded tools and are not usually included in the typical tool reviews/comparisons you see on line like the major brands you typically find in Home Depot/Lowes, the key to getting a good reliable tool are these reviews (of which there are many) that give a discerning customer like myself the comfort in knowing I have purchased a solid/reliable tool. Aside from the compressor I also bought a high quality rubber air hose and tire inflator/gage at a cost roughly half of what you would pay at the other aforementioned tool stores. Being retired, savings like this are very very important to me and are what makes me keep coming back to Harbor Freight tools. Overall, if you are a DIY guy and looking to get a good tool at a reasonable cost you should definately check out one of the Harbor Freight outlet stores in your area or visit them on line. You definately will not be disappointed if you do.

The place was a hot mess, completely disorganized and looked like a hoarder house. The staff was friendly, but this place is a total hazard. Stuff was strewn about, and aside from the key cutting, I don't know how this place is still open. If they cleaned the store up, I would bump up the stars.
