Started taking my three vehicles there, and every time, good service and good prices. An old truck was having some road noise issues. I took it to the dealer, who wrote me up a service order for $2600. I suspected that Matt's could beat that price. I left the truck at Matt's, but Matt called me after 20 minutes, and said I needed to come back to the shop. That worried me a little, but when I got there, he had my truck up on the lift, and showed me that all 4 items the dealer said needs replacing, were sound and didn't need repair or replacement at all. Saved me $2600 (less the cost of the shocks that he pointed out were in poor condition..and then almost all the road noise went away!). That sure cemented me to use only Matt's. Brought my cargo trailer in prior to a long road trip, and I wanted them to check everything out. They did, and when I offered to pay, he said "No charge. Didn't take us long, and you're a good customer..." or something like that. I am a mechanical idiot, but they never talk down to me, or make me feel stupid. And I always get a fair price from them. No wonder they are rated #1 in Iron County so frequently.

Eric McDonald helped us (service manager) order a tire from out of town, and the owner "Super Dale" drove us to our hotel to stay the night. Before 10 am the next morning, they called and had it all ready for us. It was a tender mercy that the car wasn't damaged, no one was hurt, and the folks at Bracken were there to help and go Beyond the Call of Duty to help people unexpectedly stranded. And they were over $100 cheaper than Big O tire down the street. Highly Recommend!

He spent a great deal of time trying to locate the parts for us & finally found them 3 hours away, so we rented a car & went & picked up the parts. While we were gone, he got our truck ready for the new lines-- we returned at 3pm and he had it completed by 5pm!! Truly unbelievable customer service! And he had an extra car that he let us use & if it didn't have the "check engine" light on, he would have let us take it to go get the parts!! And finally, his prices were very fair! We were on a two-car trip from Arizona to Seattle when every warning light on our Subaru Forester…read morestarted flashing. It happened at a very difficult time and place, about 150 miles east of St. George and in a snow storm. We stopped in Kanab for an engine test and were told that the transmission had developed a problem that would disable the All-Wheel-Drive. We were told that driving to St. George would not cause further damage to the transmission but the snow storm, without all-wheel-drive, resulted in a very cautious drive to St. George. We called ahead to St. George Transmission and they were familiar with that particular Subaru problem and they had the parts in stock. We decided that our other car, a Ford Transit 350 van handled even worse than the Subaru so while St. George Transmission fixed the Subaru, we had Snow tires put on the van. We have fond memories of St. George and, especially of St. George Transmission. They made our Forester safe to drive, even though the snow storm got worse as we drove on to Seattle. Great company and staff is very knowledgeable in Subaru transmission problems.
