Our car literally looks worse now after being at performance collision center. We paid $400 to have 2 small dings removed and the one ding looks like a permanent booger the way they painted it. After receiving my car back the cosmetic damage was fixed although my dash cam was disconnected and left in the back floorboard with NO SIM card. Had my car for 7 weeks and when I finally picked it up, it wouldn't start. They told me it was the auto theft sensor from Cadillac and then changed their excuse and said "it didn't start & we had to jump a few times while we had it". I purchased the battery in 2022. They let my car sit for 5 weeks and never disconnected the battery to avoid this issue. "Unique" people working there. read more

My wife's car was in an accident and we decided on Performance collision center since progressive recommended. Big mistake, it took many additional days to source the parts for the repair leaving her without her car. After receiving the car back and looking at it, the fender liner was hanging down and part of the fender was not flush peeling back from the adhesive they used to bond it to the fender. When we returned the vehicle to them they stated it is because they used "non-oem" parts and that we would have to return another time to get it reworked. Bought a used car that warranty was denied on a quick fix they obviously did to a slightly loose body panel - just wouldn't snap back into its clip. Had it quoted at two places and Performance was closest at nearly identical price. Their timeline was months out, but they saw that this was a quick repair and squeezed me in within a week. Repair done in less than an hour and estimator brought me back into the shop to see the old clip, the new clip, compare around the vehicle, etc. Great service and timing - really. Buyer beware!! they have poor communication, rude. do not return phone calls or emails in a timely manner (weeks) say that insurance paperwork is submitted but its not, i had to request copies more than once to submit them to insurance. (Should have been my red flag) they also did not fix all the issues that was wrong. they fixed one dent and left over spray on the black trim. there are still scratches and a small dent on the front of the car. they would not fix the convertible top, told me that was normal. well it didn't look that way until it was hit by a gazebo; so now my drivers window doesn't seal like it should and does leak a little water ant the top is rubbed thin in several spots because they said that is normal.. read more

I was in a collision 3/8/23 and took my MINI to this place as it was recommended by Dreyer and Reinbold MINI. I FINALLY got my car back 6/2 after 4 trips to get my car fixed as I kept finding more and more issues with the car. I had to always call them for updates, was continually lied to about the status of my car, and they had excuses for everything. They first decided an alignment wasn't needed on my car and I had to go back the day after picking my car up since it was pulling to the right. Rosemary was VERY condescending and acted like they did me some favor by aligning my car. A week later, I noticed a HUGE gouge in my tire sidewall and called them about it. The tech that worked on my car saw it and decided it wasn't relevant, and didn't bother to let me know of this issue. They wanted me to drive 45 minutes to their shop to get a tire put on, but ended up letting me go elsewhere that was closer. Then I had to take it back due to a missing part, broken part, and damage they missed. Picked it up and they left me standing in the parking lot since it was the end of the day. I had to go back AGAIN to have them fix more paint and more damage they overlooked, including electrical issues. When my car was supposed to be finished for the last time on Friday at the end of the day, I said I would pick it up at the beginning of the next week. On my way to pick it up, I get a call saying the paint still isn't fixed and can I wait to come get it? They would call me with an ETA in 20 minutes, 40 minutes later and nothing. So I had to call, no it still wasn't ready. When it was finally ready, they all hid in the building while I did a walk around. There were still some minor scratches but I was over dealing with them. I had to take my car to MINI to get the electrical issues fixed, which turned out to be them doing a half cocked install of the head unit for my radio. 0/10 I do NOT recommend this place. Shotty work, HORRIBLE communication, and overall just awful people to deal with. I'm not sure how they have certification for so many different vehicle repairs, but this place needs shut down. read more

Was recommended this place my a family member after being in a hit and run back in December, and I'm glad that she did. I'm all about customer service and communication and this business exceed my expectations. From the time that I dropped my car off to be fix until picking it up, I was always sent a txt letting me know the status and condition of my car which was something that I really appreciated. I also liked how they were in connection with the enterprise car rental up the street. Having one of their(Enterprise) staff members drop a rental off for me saved the hassle of finding temporary transportation. I will definitely be recommended this business to others! read more

I had some thing fall on my car and destroy one of the rearview mirrors and left a dent. When I took it in they assessed it right away, it only took about half an hour, and the gentleman I worked with was very nice and very accommodating to what I wanted to get fixed and how much money I wanted to spend. We set up an appointment, And I brought the car back just a few days later, and they had it all done in about an hour and a half. The pricing was fair, and really the whole experience was very smooth and the people I talked to were all very nice. read more

I was in an accident that was completely not my fault, so insurance was going to take care of everything. The insurance company wanted me to choose from a list of pre-approved shops and this one was on the list. After I chose this collision center, the insurance company did all the hard work. All I had to do was choose a time to drop off my car. I dropped it off on a Wednesday afternoon and picked it up exactly one week later. When I dropped it off all I had to do was sign a couple forms and show a representative the damage so she could circle the dents and write down any notes. They did an excellent job and I have no complaints! They even matched the paint of the new parts to the rest of the car since it is an older car. What's also nice about this shop is that there's an Enterprise office just inside. The insurance company put me in a rental car for the whole week and I didn't have to do much work for that either. The whole process was super easy! Upon pickup, I was given a sheet with all the repairs, replacements, and labor costs all broken down even though insurance covered it. I had a small dent from being side swiped. I must say first, if you want an excellent job performed on the body of your car come to performance collision. If you want excellent work done and a speedy turn around don't come to PC. When you come to get an estimate what becomes abundantly clear is they service a lot of cars (take a number) and you have to call every other day for an update/status report to keep them moving steadily on your vehicle. Taking a number also means they are very experienced. So, get the car rental! Otherwise you can order a custom brand new car with the time it takes to get your car completed. John who handled my account is very nice, positive, even tempered and patient if you get him to handle your account. He is also a man of his word when he says he will call you back. John is a super guy with the perfect attitude if you are luck enough to get him representing you but be prepared to wait over 2 weeks easy! John gets a 10 out of 10! I know next to nothing about car repair. I am a cliche woman wondering about blind when it comes to getting anything fixed that goes wrong with my vehicle. I barely can figure out how to take the dang thing through a car wash! Everything about cars intimidates me, even driving them. Well....This story really starts with a me backing over a stump just to the left of a friend's driveway. I have a reverse camera yet I managed to run over it and then pull forward detaching my bumper. It didn't SEEM that bad at the time and I didn't really worry about it. Until my husband found out....boo! A piece of my bumper was laying on the driveway and I didn't realize it. This was two years ago. Yes, I drove around with a broken bumper for nearly two years b/c I didn't want to deal with it. It looked like it would fall off any minute but it wasn't going to come off. It was on there and I couldn't imagine it being expensive to fix, but then again, EVERYTHING is so pricey with cars that I just knew it would cost a small fortune. Since the bumper really wasn't coming off AND it didn't look THAT bad, I just let it go....until last week. I set up having it looked at while I was having other (scary) repairs done at the Dodge dealership. They basically farm out Performance if there is something collision related with their customers. I don't know who to trust so I said sure when they asked if I wanted an estimate. The guys from PCC came over to the dealership, took a look at my car, and gave me an estimate over the phone. It was going to cost ....wait for it - $122.56. Um, I'm sorry, is that all? He explained the cost of the pieces they were replacing and how they had to fix it. He said it would take about 15 minutes but they didn't have the part. He gave me a couple of options for retrieving the car and agreed to go get it AND bring it back to Dodge so I didn't have to come there at all, drop off, pick up, move the car, etc. He also ordered, got the parts and fixed my car less than 24 hours after the initial call. It was a very stress-free experience. The employees I spoke with were knowledgeable, helpful and customer-service oriented in a way that did not make me feel stupid or uncomfortable. I would recommend this company. There are very few experiences I have had with my car that were better. I didn't feel "had" in any way. I got a quote and paid the quote. There were no unpleasant surprises. I did feel soooo dumb for waiting two years to fix the damn car, though, since I do advertise my business with it, but it is what it is. I can't say enough good things about Performance. This was our first experience handling a not at fault accident, a claim and repair on my vehicle. They walked us step by step through the process and were a preferred provider with our insurance company, Erie Insurance. The whole process was seamless and the fact that you can get your rental car in the same building is such a bonus! I'm not a car expert, so take this as you will. I went in to repair my bumper that got rear ended at about 5 mph (I was parked), and the initial estimate they gave me was 300 dollars. I got an estimate for $957 in California but never got it repaired down there due to the fact that I was always occupied with something else to do and the damage was minor. Once they found out it was the other guy's fault and it was going through insurance, my "official" estimate got bumped up to $500. After they finally fixed it, the final price was in the 700+ range. Basically, I'd recommend you not bring up insurance/faults unless you are not responsible at all because you just might get taken for a little more than necessary. They did do a good job fixing everything though. read more

The repair took a little longer than expected due to my insurance, but after that was resolved, the work took the time expected. I took my car here in April of 2019 to get a new front bumper and to have a tubing bracket installed. Months later while do my regular oil change I noticed that the bracket was leaking. It even had the metal hose clamp which I installed before still just hanging on the tubing. I believe this job was just rigged up with the expectations that I could never notice this is due to how shocked they looked when I told them I saw this part leaking when I changed my oil. So I went in 10/21/19 with pictures, they admitted fault and said the wrong bracket was installed. The parts finally came in today 11/13/19 and there were 3 parts to complete the system. So now I'm really confused about how they fixed it the first time, like I said earlier it was probably something just laying around the shop that could easily be installed as "good enough". My car got "fixed" again today so hopefully they did it right this time(I will be checking soon). I really hope my turbo is okay and didn't get damaged since I've been driving it broken since April! This whole experience has made me wonder if I actually got a genuine Audi bumper and parts as a replacement or if it was just rigged up to get me on my way... I guess I'll never know for sure! They did a great job on my repair. I did have to have them touch up a paint spot that they missed on my side, but I'm also a very picky person. They happily fixed it! One thing that I will say is the little girl at the customer service desk has a terrible attitude for someone who is supposed to be courteous and polite. She is not someone I would want manning my front desk. Her final straw with me was when she actually rolled her eyes when I told her not to worry about the additional estimation of work that I was requesting. Our BMW sustained severe front end body and mechanical damage. It was a difficult repair. Lindsee was amazing to work with. She offered us different options and kept us informed throughout the process. Certain of the parts were difficult to source. Yet Lindsee worked to find the necessary parts in a timely fashion. The technician did an EXEMPLARY job repairing the vehicle. The car looks like new. Surprisingly, it even drives like it is new. Often damage such as this results in a vibration that can't be fixed. Not with this repair. Performance Collision is the only place we would consider taking any of our vehicles for repair. read more

My car just spent 24 days at Performance Collision Center after some lady hit me before the holidays. The repair was scheduled for December 24th, but they pushed it back to January 8th. In the end it was an 8.000 $ bill for the insurance. Since my car was due for service, but Dreyer Reinbold wouldn't perform it on a car with body damage. I asked the Collision Center to get the service done on my car, which it was due for while it was sitting there waiting for some parts. I called them several times to check on the progress of the repairs and to remind them to get the service appointment scheduled, since the car had to be brought to the dealership anyways. I called again yesterday, asking them when I could pick up my car, since nobody ever called me, except one single time, and I was told the car was ready for pick up the next morning, I was very excited to finally getting my car back and getting rid of the rubbishy, unworthy calling itself a car, Hyundai Elantra, I had to drive for the last 24 days. When I finally picked up my car this morning, I asked them, just to confirm before leaving, if the service had been done in the in the meantime, as agreed upon. They told me that it is scheduled for today and that Dreyer Reinbold will have a loaner for me. So I drive over to Dreyer Reinbold, hoping to drop off my car and drive off in a jiffy. Unfortunately Dreyer Reinbold didn't have a clue about a service appointment nor a loaner. So I had to schedule it myself and will bring back my car next week. Any questions? read more

I would not recommend taking your vehicle to Performance. Our accident occurred 12/18/16 and they have had our car 7 months out of the last 9 months in and out for repairs that were completed incorrectly or incorrect parts installed. I had just found my BMW 335i after about a year of scouring the country and had owned if for no more than 2 months when I was broadsided by my coworker in the work parking lot. Both driver's side doors were destroyed and the rocker panel had some significant dents from metal portions of the door during impact. No injuries except to my pride and ride. Anyway, repair process was facilitated through a local progressive service center and car was delivered to Performance Collision Center during week of Christmas. From my initial contact with Performance I was treated cordially and respectfully. I was walked through the entire process covering the scope of damage, the parts needed, the physical body/paint repairs, and was updated at least once per week until completion. When I first saw the car after only a few short weeks, I couldn't believe how well the repairs were executed and could find no trouble areas. I am no paint and body expert, but have worked on many smaller automotive projects to know that it requires great skill, patience, and an eye for details. The color match is spot on and the paint texture matches the rest of the original paint/clear coat. Also, the factory VIN data tag located on the rocker panel had to be removed as part of the repair process, and when I noticed it was missing at pick up, I made a quick trip in to talk to the manager and was told it would be taken care of. After a week or so, I received a call that the replacement tag was in and they would be mailing it directly to me. After some quick research, these tags can cost in excess of $100 and aren't always readily available. One could argue the mantra at Performance Collision is "Treat the customer how you would like to be treated" or "Put the customer first, and the rest will follow." Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the entire process and the people/staff involved. I don't hesitate recommending Performance to any friend, family, coworker, acquaintance, stranger so long as they keep the same focus on customer satisfaction and overall management. read more

There aren't enough stars to describe how awesome the manager and his team treated me and my Z-4, after coming to them with repairs that were done months later from another unprofessional company who didn't want to fix their own work. Living in Columbus, the drive was fairly long for me and I was dreading making that drive but, they came highly recommended to me and I'm so glad I listened. The manager was calm ,easy to talk with,didn't tell me or make me feel like he didn't want to bother with me or the do overs from the previous repair & collision company. His mechanic was also highly recommended to me as well, so that put me at ease knowing that my BMW was going to be in good hands. Throughout the whole process, the manager Eric kept me in the loop of every step that was being taken from parts being ordered beforehand, to even when it was time to set up the car rental with Enterprise which is next door, Whereas the other Collision/Repair Company didn't offer to do that for me even when I asked them if they could set up a car rental for me, etc .. but instead they replied back that they would be happy to give me the phone number. Customer Service is about taking care of your customers, which is a dying art, but not at Performance Collisions Center. There are still people who know what that means and know how to do it. I made the mistake of judging this place based on the nice building and the high price on the estimate. Several body panels on my car needed replaced and they messed up every panel. The quarter panel doesn't line up, there are scratches on the mirror and front bumper and buffing marks and sanding scratches on the door and fender. They also scratched the window tint and left a trim piece loose on the roof. I stopped in to let them know about the problems and they would not fix them. If you are looking for a body shop I would advise you to go somewhere else. read more

They were more concerned about me than how much the cost was and did a fantastic jobin the time frame that I was quoted.
