Someone smacked my car at Speedway Gas station and ran so I went through my auto insurance and did a claim and they recommended Burnside Collision. First off, I absolutely hate taking my car to get fixed BUT I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Nick! Let Me tell you... He was so professional, so knowledgeable, and so caring while servicing my car. He mentioned that he had to take my car to the back and mark it up. He pulled my car around with a million markings on my entire car. Lol he wanted to show me exactly what they were going to fix, what they were not going to fix, and how. Nick also reminded me of how much gas I had in my car. After leaving my car in their car, Burnside sent me text messages of estimates of how much it would cost and how long it would take. I was looking at a 5 day turn around. The next day, two days later, I received a phone call stating my car was ready to go! Not only did they fix my car, they cleaned my car and as a courtesy they also fixed my lightbulb! When I picked up my car, Nick was there to greet me. He pulled my car around and explained to me every single thing they fixed! First off, it's nice to have the same person to work with the entire time. Second, It's refreshing to experience working with good businesses and knowledgeable associates and to top it off, they have a warranty on what they fixed. I'm so happy my car insurance recommended them! It's pricey, but it's So worth it! P.S the receptionist was bomb as well! She remembered who I was and asked about my kids! I had a horrible experience at Burnside Express. After picking up my vehicle they failed to burp the radiator and my car almost ran hot!!!!!! Immediately I called the shop and they told me to park it and that they would send a tow truck to pick it up. After waiting in my car someone from the company picked me up and told me not to worry because a tow truck was coming to pick the car up. So, after getting a rental car I went back to the area where the car was and someone from the company drove the car off the lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO TOW TRUCK. I immediately drove back to the shop and expressed my concern and basically I was given an excuse. I called back two days later and they offered me $100 for the lie that they told!! Please avoid this place at all cost! Let me say this place is a joke! Gieco brought my vehicle here, and while being at Burnside, I called 3 times to check on things, and I was told by the "manager" that my vehicle was locked behind a fenced-in area! I was lied to! My vehicle was left parked along a fence, off property, and left unlocked!!! My vehicle was vandalized. The catalytic converter was stolen, and materials and tools were stolen that belonged to my business, which was 3700 dollars worth to be exact ! I have a family to support while having to replace all that was stolen. Honestly, I wouldn't trust this place to do body work on my daughter's Barbie Jeep, let alone a personal vehicle you care about at all. If you want your property stolen and catalytic converter stolen, this is the place to go. I had to file yet another insurance claim just for my vehicle being there ! How sad ! Indiana law says personal property isn't covered by car insurance. Management did nothing about the situation, saying that the paperwork was signed, saying they were not liable. Do Not Bring Your Vehicle here !! I really hope they reply to this. They know they are in the wrong !!! read more

I'd give them a negative review if I could. I had an accident with my truck and took it to Burnside which was recommended by Geico. Burnside failed to diagnose that the rear axle had been damaged in the accident. I had to complain vigorously to get them to send it to a dealership for a second opinion. Burnside wasn't even apologetic for having missed this very serious problem. It took them 2 weeks to get my truck back to me. Overall, a very bad experience. read more

I took my car into Burnside Express Collision based on Google reviews and on the fact that I am a Geico Customer. 1. I've never had any issue with Geico and had exceptional service for everything I've ever needed them for. 2. Burnside was a great decision for me. Every single person I spoke to at this Burnside location was great, customer service was exceptional here. Everything was very thoroughly discussed with me, and every single day I had my car there I was able to get an update. Every other day, there was a call discussing the state of my vehicle. I was expected to have 2 weeks worth of work done on my car and my car was repaired within 1 week! Additionally, I was able to VERY easily get a rental by the time I turned my car in and that service was also exceptional. The bad reviews that this place had may be relevant prior, but as of May 6, 2019, this place is exceptional and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else! read more

My car was sent to be repaired at Burnside Express Collision through my insurance company, Geico, after being involved in an accident. My experience with his company has been problematic from the beginning. They initially delayed the delivery of my car by 6 weeks due to "accidentally" deploying all the airbags and causing more damage to the interior of the car. When I received my car, I noticed a chip of paint on my driver side mirror which was . While driving a week later, I noticed a scraping sound coming from my car and realized the bottom panel was dragging along the road. When I took back my car they said they must've forgot to screw in the bottom panel. Soon after this my car would intermittently die while driving. I thought this was a mechanical issue and planned to take it to the dealer the following weekend until the next morning my car failed to start, I called roadside assistance and also noticed that my car's battery terminals were not properly secured causing a loss of power while driving. My car had stopped repeatedly and put me in danger of potentially getting in an accident. After this, the most recent issue occurred after my passenger side window shattered while being parked at my home. There was no external damage and the glass was damaged from the inside. I told Burnside Express about this and they told me to come in two days later as they were too busy to look at it immediately. I believed this would be covered under the signed warranty I received from both Burnside and Geico to cover any damages resulting from the labor or material used during the repair of my vehicle for the life of the car while I still owned it. When they finally checked my car, they opened my door panel and noticed there was no external impact that caused this damage. I was told they had contacted the glass vendor and were expecting to have this replaced under warranty. Because they had opened my door panel, my shattered window was held up by tape which eventually caused it to slip leaving a wide opening. After trying to contact the manager Andy, for three days, I received a call from them stating the glass vendor wouldn't cover the damage and was told I would have to pay to have the glass replaced. I am a salesman for my company and this has made it difficult to drive to customers with a shattered window barely holding up and with glass shards flying off after going over the smallest of bumps on the road. I would expect better service from a company that charged over $12,000 in repairs. I do not believe the reviews others have given this place. read more

My car was dropped off here after opposite party's insurance recommended it. The repair was quick and easy, however-they detailed the car without asking or notifying me that that would happen and when detailing, they threw away an important item out of the driver side door. When I called and asked about the item after picking the car up, they proceeded to lie to me and tell me it was in the center console...the car does not even have a center console. They then said they would return my phone call after talking with detail further about where the item was actually put, they never returned the phone call, I actually had to reach back out to them. They then said it was in the glove box..another lie. They basically told me I was out of luck on the missing item. What an inconvenience and the lying was what really pushed it over the edge. read more

I had to take my car to Burnside Express because I was hit by a driver with Geico. DO NOT USE GEICO OR TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP. The repair was first written using new parts, but then at pick-up I discovered they used repaired parts. Geico never contact me about this change and I have contacted the Indiana Attorney General about insurance fraud because of it ( more to come). Then when I went to pick up the car, the repair work was terrible. the door still had dents and scratches all over the new paint. They didn't argue about the crappy workmanship and promised to repaint it again. Then when I came back the next time to pick it up, the paint job looked better, but the broke the front bumper and side door molding. They caused as much damage fixing the car as the accident caused. The worst part is they knew the damage was done, they just thought I wouldn't see it. I have contacted the Indiana Better Business Bureau about that. Plus, it turns out they broke a small radiator hose while working on my car and it now has a cooling issue. This was a brand new car, less than 1 year old. I am going to have to live with the broken bumper and pay to have my cooling issue fixed out of my own pocket because I DO NOT trust this company to do the repairs. Geico and Burnside refuse to pay to have a reputable company do the work. DO NOT USE GEICO AND DO NOT USE BURNSIDE EXPRESS ! read more
