When I was more active and going to the gym nearly everyday, Anastasio was my go to! My body was in fairly bad shape due to all the ego lifting and lack of stretching. My man Anastasio nursed me back to health and even allowed me to set PRs! If you frequent the gym or living an active lifestyle, please do your body a favor and come see Anastasio for a correction. That being said, even aches and sore from everyday tasks should warrant a visit too. With working from home being so prevalent especially during the pandemic, all the desk time could lead to tight muscles and bad posture. That, ladies and gentlemen, is why I came to see Anastasio again. With my newly sedentary lifestyle and sitting in front of the screen all day, I became a victim of poor posture and tight muscles. I'm already seeing a lot of progress after a single visit and you bet I'll be returning more often. Honestly, for the small price of sacrificing one night out, you'll feel like a brand new person. We forget to care for ourselves sometime when we should be priority. Health really is wealth. Anastasio is a very positive and motivating person. He trains and participates in marathons often. Talking to him has made me motivated to return to the gym and get my physique of yesteryear. Being an active person himself gives him tremendous knowledge especially combined with his studies. It's always great to have a positive role model or friend in your life. Pro-tip: If you live in the East Bay, Anastasio has an option to come to your house for treatment!! What's better than getting a massage during a meeting haha. read more

Anastacio always does a great job during my sport massage therapy sessions, and I appreciate his level of professionalism and care that he provides at each session. Though I need to drive about 25 minutes to his office, I go to see Anastacio about once a month, and it is worth it each time. I originally searched for a massage therapist to help relieve tension along my back and neck after I was injured by multiple packages falling on my back while shopping at Costco last year. After consulting with my physical therapist, they suggested that regularly going to a massage therapist would also help me with recovering from intense training that I do as a semi-professional badminton athlete. While there weren't many options for sports massage therapy in the Bay Area, I saw great compliments for Anastacio on Google Reviews. When I visit Anastacio, he always makes sure that my current needs are met, as he will ask about the specific areas that I want to work on for that session. In addition to helping me with my tight back and neck, he has also worked on my shoulders, quads, hamstrings, calves, and forearms, and I am always satisfied with the amount of pressure and time that he uses for each part. Anastacio is well-versed with cupping and Graston Technique, and he uses the tools effectively for areas that are particularly tight. Anastacio is also very laid-back and knowledgeable, so I enjoy chatting with him during our sessions, and I appreciate his promptness and professionalism when another matter arises outside of our sessions. I can only speak highly of Anastacio, and I appreciate how he is able to accommodate my varying needs, helping me recover from intense training, relieve muscle injuries from impacts, as well as from a rear-end collision from a motor vehicle accident. read more

Anastacio has been helping my back for a few years now. I have a history of back pain that controls my life. With a bulged disc, sciatica pain and numbness in my right leg, I go to Anastacio for muscle pain relief. One specific time, earlier this year, had me completely sold on his massage was when I had been experiencing extreme pain for about 2 months straight. I was in excruciating pain, was seeing the chiropractor 3 times a week. It took one session with Anastacio to push me in the right direction. He did massage and incorporated stretching techniques. That one massage helped me tremendously, I was able to heal quickly and stop seeing the chiropractor so regularly. I was so relieved that my massage was able to help with my sciatica! Better results than seeing my chiropractor. Whether you have back issues, sore muscles, or just need to relax, I would definitely recommend Anastacio, he is a miracle worker!!He uses a combination of techniques specialized for your individual needs. read more

Anastacio is the real deal. Wow. It's no fluffy spa message - he finds the trouble spots and works them out. I went in with a lot of neck and back pain from working at a computer all day. He said my neck felt like a brick wall. It was like he nicely chiseled away at the wall one brick at a time through massage and some stretches. It's intense but so worth it. My body feels less tight and I definitely felt some relief. I'll be back...like really soon. :) Location is easy to find on Almaden expressway near Capitol. Oh and he has convenient online scheduling. Love that! read more

People of San Jose and the surrounding area! This man is literally the best massage therapist I've ever been too! Incredible work!! I am a Chiropractor and know an amazing massage when I get one. His knowledge of the human frame and ability to recognize and treat tense, tight muscles and trigger points is admirable and astounding. There were a few points in time where I literally went into a trance because of how great his deep tissue massage is. He has perfected his technique and I recommend seeing him!! Superb work! I cant believe how good I feel after I am treated by him. Well worth the time and visit!! I would give Anastacio Rodriquez a 10 star if were an option so I will just say it here! 10/10 all the way :) read more

I needed a massage therapist for a last minute work gig and was referred to Anastacio by a friend! Anastacio was extremely flexible and accommodating to work with. The entire office staff (myself included) was very pleased with his work. He was friendly and professional. He was thoughtful of each one of our needs and did a great job. Not only does Anastacio has a lot of experience he is also very knowledgeable in what he does. He gave me great advice for my (persistent) lower back pain that I have not been able to cure. Definitely looking forward to hiring his services in the future again! read more

I recieve both massage and bodywork semi-regularly. I have also worked with many therapists in the business aspect and I can honestly say that Anastacio is by far one of the best bodywork therapists I know. His knowledge and techniques are much more advanced and personalized so you wont find work like his anywhere else. Im so glad I was able to find him after he has moved locations and started his own business, his new location is quite spacious, relaxing, and very professional. Will definately be a repeat client! read more

I've been receiving massage for many years, and I do believe I won't be going to anyone else but Anastacio! I think that a lot of massage therapists learn the body and memorize muscles because they have to pass a test at massage school. It's obvious that Anastacio takes his career seriously, and knows the body at a deep level. Plus, the massage is awesome. It's so nice to go someone who can notice the imbalances in my body and right away make the massage individualized just for me. I highly recommend him, and as a fitness business owner, I will be sending ALL of my clients his way. read more

Anastacio is an angel with an enormous heart who helped me beyond massage. In a time of extreme hardship financially, physically, medically, mentally - he went beyond the call to help. He sees you first as a person, not just a client. Put me in tears with gratitude. After 1 session, felt tremendous relief with 90% improvement of excruciating back and hip pain after an injury that months of physical therapy was unable to resolve. He is extremely generous, kind, and talented - with an innate ability to target the toughest areas efficiently and effectively. I will update my progress at a later time. read more

The best of the best! I get massages from Anastacio once a month and I will never go anywhere else. There is never a wait (even when I arrive early). You never feel rushed. He is professional, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. The hour goes by too quickly! You can tell he knows his stuff because he'll find the knots in your muscles that you didn't even know were there to begin with! He is thorough and his massages are very effective. He even spends extra time with me afterwards to demonstrate stretches that will help alleviate the constant tension in my shoulder / neck area.
