I wasted my time and money for these people changing my clean oil. I asked the transmission oil and he said it will take about 45 minutes to an hour. After 10 minutes he said the car is ready. I was surprised how fast they were done but they did not change my transmission oil. Not only they charged me almost $100 for oil change ( I believe they did not even changed it since it was so clean), he also denied that I asked for transmission oil change. I should have guessed something was wrong since it was so quick. I worked with him over 15 years and trusted and signed the document without looking at the details. He did not offer any money, he gaslit me saying I asked for regular oil change. Why would I ask regular oil change when I did it a week ago? These kind of business practices is making us not trust anyone. Zero stars!!! read more

My battery had been replaced recently, but my car was shutting off while idling! Called Performance Auto, Tony asked some questions, said to bring it in and they'll add it to their queue. After dropping it off, they called me 30 minutes later to let me know that my engine's sensors needed to be "relearned" after the battery replacement. They only charged me for the base diagnostic fee of $95 (which is rolled into repair cost if it goes over that). I had probably one of the longest days where things were not going smooth. I filled my tank next door at the Shell/car wash and my battery completely died. Of course luck would have it that I left the house without my phone so I went inside shell, they wouldn't let me use their phone (not their problem) so they directed me to PAC where SAM went out of his way to help me. He gave me a jumó, tested my battery, went over the cost and value of batteries. Unfortunately they didn't have what I needed but SAM called someone next door and they came and walked me over. The price seemed a bit high. I went back to SAM. He called down the street verified they had the battery, it was a great price plus only$10 compared to the earlier labor charge of $100. SAM gave them my name and gave me another jump and sent me on my way. Thank you Sam for being kind and for helping me. It takes a community and you made me feel apart of it. I guess they're either scammers or literally don't know how to price labor for anything. I went in for an alignment since I had no choice to because I don't have the machine for it. So by curiosity I asked them a price for a tune up and etc. all they said I needed was spark plugs. they were going to charge me $500 total for labor and cost of spark plugs on top of the 160$ I already paid for the alignment. It's ridiculous pricing. If anyone can get a family member to do simple work or a mobile mechanic to do simple work like spark plugs and brakes. Pay them instead. These guys try to scam people that they feel don't know anything about cars. The front desk guy Mike should check his pricing for things. Or at least know what he's talking about since the car I had at the moment needed way more work done than just spark plugs read more
