He was very emphatic and pretty rude to me about it. I get it, BMWs are a bit over engineered and complicated depending on what you're trying to work on. Control arms(specificity pressed in bushes) are not one of those overly engineered pieces, they are just like most other brands/cars. So again, he may be the nicest and most trustworthy mechanic around if you happen to drive anything but a German car. I now own a Honda or two and if it's something I can't fix on my own, I'd prolly go elsewhere because of my 1st and only interaction with them.

Mine is a 2012 with over 150k and still runs like a top. There are no rattles, everything still fits and works and looks great. I'll have this car for 200k miles, that's a value! Performance Lexus has great Covid protocols in place; barriers, masks, online scheduling and a video report of your vehicle. They have maintained the level of service while keeping the spread down. Their building is a lovely space, pre-Covid you could workout on a treadmill, watch a movie in the theater (with snacks), work in a mini office or relax in a leather couch and watch TV. There's no hard plastic chairs for hours while you wait for your car. They also offer complimentary washes with service, or anytime if you purchased from them. And when your repair or maintenance will take a long time they offer nice loaners that don't smell like smoke. Service guys are nice, professional and frequently we get 10% off labor coupons. Sales guys are good, we've purchased three cars here and would absolutely buy from them again when we need to replace our vehicles. We don't interact with the sales team as much, my car was purchased 10 years ago, but our interactions have been positive. And when we occasionally wander around the floor while waiting for service, they are always friendly but never pushy.

Proceed with caution if you are taking your vehicle to Source 1 Automotive!…read more My F150 had new outer tie rod ends installed, so I took it to Source 1 for an alignment. They said they could not complete the alignment because the new tie rod ends were seized and they tried to sell me new ones. To make matters worse, they insisted on charging me, full price, for the alignment which wasn't completed. I agreed to pay full price if they would honor finishing the alignment once the issue was addressed. When I inspected the tie rod ends, they could be adjusted without issue. I took it back to Source 1 for the alignment to be finished, which was completed without issue. At this point, they tried to charge me, full price, again! Their practice is unethical and predatory.
