Went in for a regular manicure, the person who seemed to be the host asked me 3 times what I wanted and I had to keep explaining to her what I needed at the end she just ended up walking away without saying anything. The women who did my manicure was really nice but she seemed like she lacked experience, my cuticles were poorly cleaned and proceeded to apply regular polish when I specifically asked for Gel polish for which I was still charged for, on top of that she asked if I wanted wax water and I said no to which she proceeded to apply it anyway. read more

Dori is my girl! Finding a good nail tech is hard in this area. Dori does a fantastic job, and always creates the perfect nail art for me. Unlike other techs she doesn't feel the need to make aimless conversation, which I actually prefer. I hate when I get pelted with questions cause they think I need to talk to feel welcomed. I love just being able to enjoy the services! I will say that this salon is on the higher end of budgets and it seems like the prices change frequently which has nothing to do with the techs. I had a pedicure elsewhere for the first time in a couple of years since moving to NNY and I thought that was the worst one I've ever had. Honestly this place was so much worse. He took my old polish off...leaving some on the sides of my toenails. He then went straight to the mediocre leg massage with the lotion. Then he starts putting polish on without taking the rest of the old polish off....and mind you, I went from blue to pink polish, so it showed on the sides he missed. He didn't even clean under the toenails, use that "cheese grater" on my heels like I've always had done, or even cut my cuticles. My mother-in-law had to chew him out because I'm too nice to say anything ...the curse of being Canadian. Also the polish was clumpy in places. I loved the vibe at the end one of the associates came and stand over me and was kind of like rushing me, i didn't like that but it was just her, everyone else was extremely nice. I would definately go again just would ask the girl to be more professional. Everyone else was very very professional and kind. I did come late, right before closing, I think the guy was her ride home but both guys took their time, they did an amazing job. Great first impression to walk in and have somebody that's actually dedicated to being at the front desk to assist us ask what we were looking for and be able to see us immediately. The place is very nicely lit, clean, with nice level music that isn't too loud you can't hear your technician. I had Dori who was super nice, best part is she didn't give me grief about not wanting my cuticles pushed back any further and didn't make me feel bad about it. She was accommodating to me when I asked to have my French tip color alternated, and did a really good job on cleaning up all the dead skin and ingrown nails that a lot of technicians seem to not bother with other than the absolutely atrocious curling up pointy sections that would be immediately noticeable on a manicured hand. She was overall very gentle though did go a little bit heavy on one area however I left without shutting one drop of blood and I'm overall very happy with the clean look of my gel manicure. My daughter got a polish change that was supposed to be a manicure, and when checking her hands after she was done I noticed all the dead skin and dried up nail bed connecting to her cuticle areas I asked Dory to touch up her hands. It was an additional fee as the kids manicure is apparently just a color change but it was worth it to have her not left with ugly dead skin that she has a habit of picking at until she bleeds. Overall a gel manicure and a kid's manicure $71 in total, well a little pricey I enjoyed the overall experience and easiness of getting in and out. Too bad we don't live nearby or we might become regulars and have gotten one of their member cards we were offered at payout. Only real negative I have was that they charge 3% on top of your credit card / debit card cost to cover their card processing fees. At $71 it wasn't much but I still feel that the price of the manicures should include their processing costs for such transactions. An ATM right next to the register section has a $1.50 flat fee for cash withdrawal which was preferred as I could just take out what I wanted and not have to deal with figuring out the maths of what the total was going to be. They also prefer cash tips, which is of course standard but the sign next to the register actually tells you you can't pay your tip on card so it is a bit confusing and I don't really like that aspect of the business but everything else seemed well done and if I'm in the area in the future I would definitely revisit this location and look for Dori. read more

Totally ignored me say I need my nails cut, uses the wrong Emory board to shape the nails and does not know how to paint. Haven't had a pedicure in a long time because I have been running long distance and didn't want to break down the tough skin plus had to make sure the toe nails could handle a pedicure. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and seated right away.It was a relaxing pedicure, slightly rough with the pumice stone! Make sure to speak up my skin on the sides of my feet are thin and he def gave me some irritated skin on the left side of the big toe. Polish and nails look nice- it was quiet there-if you can go around a lunch time 12-2 in a weekday no wait! Wasn't a fan of the pricing - for a basic gel pedicure with calluses removed it's 34 but you then you are charged 13.00 for gel polish so it comes to 47.00 - I'm used to 35 for a nice French tip pedicure so that was different If you don't like the calluses removed you can do a basic soak for 27.00 still 13.00 for gel. They line the basin/ use gloves and open all new items. Very clean technique. Overall I will go back just have to speak up on a few items. read more

I came here with a friend a couple weeks ago for pedicures. They have a wide selection of regular polish and the staff is friendly. The pedicure went okay and turned out average. I felt kind of rushed. When it was time to pay I handed the woman my card and she kept showing me a receipt that said transaction canceled. She kept telling me that the card wasn't going through and showing me transaction canceled. I'm not sure how it's my fault that she kept canceling the transaction. She asked if I could pay in cash but we ended up paying with a different card and it worked just fine. I'm not sure that I will come here again after my experience paying. I went in as a walk-in around noon on a Friday. Their price boards were covered with paper, but I was able to take a pamphlet that was available on the reception desk. I was greeted by a woman and asked what service I would like. I told her I wanted a full set white tip, but wasn't sure if that would be possible bc I had a bruise on one of my pinky's. She suggested trying ombré and showed me the options they had. I ended up picking #16, which was a shimmery pink fading into a white tip. My nail tech was a gentleman by the name of Alex. He was very quiet, but still professional. He was very patient with me when I asked him a few times to make the almond shape rounder, as opposed to the pointed shape he had given me. Originally I wanted my nails to be short, but when I saw how nice they looked longer I changed my mind. I paid 68$ plus a cash tip and was given a membership card to receive a free "Natural Express Pedicure" on my 10th visit. I was a little surprised by the price, but in my opinion, if you want good nails they won't be cheap! I did have a bit of residue on the edges of my fingers, and there were some spots on the edges of my nails that hadn't been covered by the final coat. I only noticed this on closer inspection of my nails, after leaving the shop. Overall the salon was beautiful and very clean. Everyone had masks on and stations were six feet apart. I got my nails done approximately 3 weeks ago. Since my visit, I've revisited because the polish on my thumb nail peeled off completely and also my middle finger nail broke off. I went back and they fixed for free. Most recently, my 2 index finger nails broke as well. I will not be going back, I don't believe in 3rd chances. I had my lashes filled last week by Ava and I left and they were great. After cleaning my lashes with WATER they became very hard like they were burnt. I called Ava told her of the situation and she became angry and had me speak with someone else who said their policy only covers three days. I informed him they never advised that prior to getting my lashes filled. I told him why fill lashes and take money if you know they won't last. He had no response other than we can't help you if you don't get a new set. Ladies don't get your lashes done you will be so angry with the results. I just moved to the area and I was excited to try this place out since everything is nice and brand new. Unfortunately it was a miss for me BOTH times. The first time I just went to get a pedicure, I ended up getting gel since I was due for a treat to myself. The color selection they have are beautiful but it doesn't make up for the expensive price and crappy work. Second time I went I went in for a mani pedi and again, crappy. Mediocre pedicure. Let me not even start with the manicure... nails were crooked, even when I asked multiple times to be fixed. Cuticles were not trimmed well, oh and the nail tech cut my finger and instead of being gentle just stayed rough. I was so annoyed with both services I didn't even bother to get a color on them. Came in for a pedicure. It was relaxing until she took out a metal file for my feet. She shaved off several layers of live skin on the bottom of my foot. I jumped, then it started to bleed. She stopped the bleeding. I hate confrontation so I paid and left. I limped around for a couple of days and decided I should let them see the damage. She offered neosporin, and I asked for a refund. No refunds, they said, but offered me a free gel manicure. I took them up on it. At least all my nails looked nice. Learn from my mistake and don't pay them if they accidentally file your skin down to the quick with those files. I had no idea they were legal in New York.
