Laurie (the owner) explained several to me that would be beneficial for my skin concerns. I booked an appointment for the four layer mask facial and nervously went to my appointment. After she brought me down to the room where the procedure was to be performed, she explained the series of events to be expected. Throughout her explanation she asked if I had any questions. She was very welcoming and comforting and provided a fantastic explanation for what was to be expected. After undressing and getting comfortable on the table she came in and began my facial. It was an AMAZING experience and I highly recommend it to everyone! The aromas of the product and the room were relaxing; the subtle music in the background helped me to unwind. I felt as though I was being transported to another place. Her expertise with facials made each phase feel like second nature for her hands. I am beyond words by how impressed I am from this experience. As I mentioned, this was my first facial every and so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I will definitely be setting the bar high for my future facials. They have everything from massages to manicures to body scrubs and sauna sessions. This spa does lean more towards a feminine atmosphere than a unisex one, but they serve both men and women. First impressions this salon is super serious about COVID-19. It's the first salon that took my temperature and made me sign a paper stating that I didnt have symptoms, or wasn't pending results. Pretty cool. Additionally, I had to sign in.. so I'm sure that if someone came up positive, I would be contacted. This salon was Uber clean!!! Every pedicure bin was covered and each item used on me was individually sealed. So no reusing of nail files, loofah, buffers, and their instruments were in a sterile container. Very nice. They DIDN'T RUSH MY SERVICE!!!! Oh my gosh!!! I loved every bit of it!!! I am one that goes for pedicures to relax and enjoy the service. I got the spa deluxe.. it has the crystals... which are like a jelly substance.. I had never experienced it before.. and got to swirl my feet in it for 10 minutes!!! And THEN had paraffin wax for 10 min and THEN hot stone massage for 10 min and then another massage for 15 min!!! This is all in addition to the usual pedicure stuff and painting of my toes!! Oh and LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE POLISH!!!! DAMN!! They have AT LEAST 100 gel (shellac) colors to choose from.. and if you are like me.. a SHIT TON of SPARKLY colors!!! Oh and they even have "cat eye" colors.. which are sooooo cool. My pedicure was only $65. So VERY budget friendly. And this was the top of the line. They do have cheaper options. Oh and I also had them wax my eyebrows... forgive the tired momma eyes!!! Its been a long night...lol but my eyebrows are at least in point ;) they did a fantastic job and only charged $12. I went in for a walk-in pedicure on Saturday 3/28 and was seated fairly quickly, which I…read moreappreciated. However, my experience quickly went downhill once the service began. It took about 5-10 minutes for the technician to come over and start. When she asked how short I wanted my toenails trimmed, I clearly explained that if they were cut too short, I tend to get ingrown toenails--especially on both sides of my big toes. Despite this, while trimming my left big toenail, she used cuticle cutters to cut deeply into both sides of the nail. It was extremely painful, and I was visibly uncomfortable the entire time. Although she applied antiseptic afterward, the damage had already been done. When she moved on to the other foot, I was so concerned about a repeat of that pain that I told her I didn't have issues with that nail, even though I actually do. I never asked for ingrown toenail treatment--only that my nails not be cut too short--so this was both unexpected and upsetting. Today, my left big toe is red, swollen, and painful to walk on. I've been applying bacitracin and keeping it covered, but it's clearly irritated from being cut too aggressively. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. This experience was painful and avoidable, and it felt like there was a significant miscommunication during the service that led to it.
