The women who did my manicure was really nice but she seemed like she lacked experience, my cuticles were poorly cleaned and proceeded to apply regular polish when I specifically asked for Gel polish for which I was still charged for, on top of that she asked if I wanted wax water and I said no to which she proceeded to apply it anyway.

So I stopped in and talked to one of the women and we made an appointment for Dr. Sanni to do the injections that we had agreed upon. On the day that the injection appointment came, I showed up, only to be told by this woman Jennifer that she wasn't going to let me have my appointment. SHE decided that my fillers should be elsewhere on my face. I asked to see Dr. Sanni, because he was to do the injections. She told me that he was busy. Well, was that even true? Because he was scheduled to do my procedure that day and here I was, so why would he be busy? He had an appointment with me. Jennifer starting getting angry with me and the situation escalated. Is Jennifer a nurse or doctor? Not to my knowledge. What right does she have to cancel my appointment on the very day of my appointment? Tensions were high, and she was acting crazier and crazier. I left there in great disappointment and anger at the way that she had treated me. I have a friend who was similarly treated. She will eventually post her review. The Medispa was GREAT when I was dealing with others. Jennifer is driving customers away.

It's a full service salon (minus nails) with about 8 hair stations when you first walk in, and a separate aesthetics area tucked away in the back. It is right on public square, so parking is a pain on the street, but I was told that there's also a parking lot tucked behind it that is much easier to deal with. I only knocked a star off because of the prices -- although they are the best prices in the area for Brazilians ($70 initially, then $60 from then on with recurring appointments). I've seen Hilary twice now, and she makes the process as quick and painless as possible. Plus she's fun to chat with, and knows a lot about the area -- which for me not being a local is helpful :) I've been to a couple other places for waxing so far, and they've either been outrageously priced and take forever, or the salons were very out of the way and inconvenient because they only took cash. So, I will definitely continue to see Hilary for her services as long as I'm in the area, and you should too!
