I called and texted with this business for services a bit ago and they basically made me feel completely stupid for contacting them at all. I was asking about micro blading and what times they had available and there was a struggle to figure out availability as well as slow replies. I ended up booking with someone else, I told them so and they started offering discounts for me to book with them rather aggressively, they wouldn't stop texting me. The results healed up nicely; microblading always fades a bit from when it's first applied, and my brows now look fuller than they were before but still natural. Over 7 years later update: still going strong, no weird color fading. First, I didnt now realize this at the time, but there are two distinct types of 'getting your brows done'- shading or hairs. I got shading done. Since then, I have also gone to two different providers to her hair added. That said, the shading has held up very well, I have not needed to get it re-shaded at all. The color is still an ash brown (didnt turn red, didnt turn blue), and it contributes to a good shape to my brows. Even when I let the hairs grow crazy, they still look 'done'. My only complaint (if you can call it that), is that the front of my eyebrows were shaded a little rounded, and I would have preferred more square = rounded might be her default shape, so if you want them shaded squarish, let her know. That said, knowing what I know now, I wouldn't do full shading to the front of the brow - consider shading on the tail and a seperate appointment for either a lighter shade in front, or just hairs. I have had hairs added to the front to make the absolutely perfect shape. Dont be scared, when you get them done at first they will look like Stamped On Eyebrows. Within 5 days they start to flake. Ar 1 week your eyebrows look 'on fleek' At 2 weeks they are done flaking. If you peel them instead of letting them fall off, you might lose the color. read more

Wow...the rude awakening. it was supposed to be $125 for a refresher After the $500 initia. Instead of 1 year it was 2. I told her "Ah...pandemic?" She didn't care and charged me double. I just came back from my 3 month refresher at $85. It sucks. Going elsewhere. 1/ she is ALWAYS late! 2/ she assumes your time is infinite so she will prep on your time 3/ she does not care what you want. I wanted light brown from the beginning Each time she puts in dark brown. 4/ having an insanely high opinion of herself she just won't stop talking 5/ I purposely wore AirPods playing music. She had the temerity to tell me to take them off. When I asked why, she said so she can talk. I asked her why do you need to talk? She said it was necessary. She finally gave in because I would not oooh and awe with her blathering About her Hawaii conference. 6/ she plays that damn music she got in Hawaii loud. 7/ here's the kicker; you're supposed to have 1hr and 30min for your session. she did mine thin, obvious and dark in less than 45min. Martha (owner) is a true professional esthetician. I went to her for a first time emergency eyebrow wax. She is a perfectionist and wants her clients to have the best possible look for them. She takes her time to do everything the correct way. Some places just wax and rush you out, but Martha does not. She took care to wax, trim, pluck, then soothe the skin with a special tonic then a light emitting device for $20. At first I was nervous to try someone new, but she assured me that she knows how to shape eyebrows very well. She was right, because my new brows felt beautiful. I am so pleased because a year ago I tried tattooing and was definitely not pleased.The tattooing was minimal pain but the quality was terrible. I decided to try it again and it was well worth it. Got my eyebrows done last week with Martha using the SofTap technique. I love them! When you're "blonde" you have to understand the brows come out very dark at first. But they eventually fade, and you can tone down the color with pressed powder. But Martha is a perfectionist. She's caring, compassionate and just a lovely person. Martha is Godsend!!! A gift from the heavens!!! I have never met anyone more passionate about skin and beauty than Martha. I just had my first appointment with her today. I called this morning to ask if I could schedule a consultation for facial treatment, and she said she had an availability at 3pm. I had about an hour to get ready, but I was totally motivated to make it to this appointment with Martha so I got ready as quickly as possible and called a cab. I was starting to worry because five minutes had turned into ten which then turned into half an hour and still no taxi in sight. I had to call the Yellow Cab Taxi company several times to ask about my ride because for some strange reason my taxi never showed up. When the taxi driver finally pulled up into the drive way, I was already 35min. late for my appointment. Once I jumped into the cab I received a text from Martha asking whether I would still be showing up for my appointment. I apologized profusely, told her I was on my way, and that there was an issue with the transportation. Martha was very forgiving! She later told me that she ended up rescheduling an afternoon appointment so she had time to start on my treatment! I was so overwhelmed by her kindness and determination to treat my skin. I have terrible acne and scarring on my face (and it has been causing me so much grief and stress). Martha reassured me that the treatment plan she has in mind for me will be the solution to my problem skin (that and learning to relax... oh and easing off the chocolate!). I completely trust her and look forward to the following five (of six) treatments I signed up for. The Spa is located in downtown Monterey, and she offers a variety of high-quality/medical grade services. The Spa is small, cute, and welcoming-- a very relaxing place!
