I usually go to Glendale but I stumbled upon this place because I went with a friend and I think I'm obsessed. They offer complementary champagne as well which is such a vibe. ICK FACTOR - UNSANITARY. Went in for dip powder mani - I noticed that they don't seem to sanitize/clean or replace their equipment between customers. - ICK. The gentleman that did the dip mani (french) was fine and did a decent job. The woman who I believe is the owner is very cold bordering on rude. The salon seems run down and not well kept. Although their prices are a bit less than some of the local nails salons, it is not worth the risk of infection. read more

I've been going here about a year. I always go to Lyne and get gel French manicure and spa pedicure. She does an amazing job and won't talk your ear off! Pedi lasts forever and manicure looks fantastic! So happy to have found this place! read more

DON'T GO!! They BURNED my foot. I went in to show them what happened and the yelled and blamed me. It's been a week and the blisters are still healing. It's UNSANITARY didn't once see them use clean / new or sanitized tools. I don't recommend going to them. read more

Oh man. I've had some really good experiences here, but the last two have been abysmal. I brought my teenage son in for a manicure which was so unbelievably rushed and they didn't even offer him polish (he would've gotten clear polish had he known to ask). None of the rough parts around his nails was taken off and they're so uneven! I have gotten gel extensions here a couple times and they have been fine. I always get them very, very short because my natural nails are so weak that even dip powder doesn't do much for them. I'm not a long nail person... so I'm Always very clear about how short I need them to be. None of my nails are the same size or shape. They are so thick because Courtney used so much glue to adhere them to my nails. I asked repeatedly if she could fix the thickness. Instead she jammed the drill bit under my nail (hurting me) and did nothing for the thickness. She then tried using the cuticle clipper underneath my nails which actually cut me several times and made me bleed. When the manager finally got involved (only because she happened to be standing next to me while I was repeatedly asking for help with the thickness), she told me that this particular nail tech isn't used to doing short nails and that she did put too much glue underneath and that's why they are so thick. She offered to have them taken off and put on again, but I had already been there for over an hour, so that wasn't happening. She offered for me to come in the next day, but that's useless to me because I got these put on for an event I'm going to tomorrow. I'm so sad because I really did like this salon and it is literally around the corner from my house. But I will not be going back. Ever. It's just too inconsistent. read more

Compared to a few other shops I have been to in the area, I was very pleased and impressed. Lynn was able to fit a gel manicure in. I was so happy they were opened on a Monday (quite a few that are closed). She was very prompt, very gracious and extremely thorough. I wish I had taken a before and after picture. My hands feel well cared for., She paid particular attention to the cuticles and making sure the nail itself was clean and nicely filed prior to polishing. The mini massage at the end was nice, the lotion had a nice scent nothing too strong & it wasn't watered down. read more

Love a quick, yet thorough pedicure Tuan did my pedi in 45 min from start to finish! Can't beat that, he cleaned out the cutciles really well, very efficient especially when you're in a time crunch. Love that they accept all forms of payment- even apps. They have a strong AC unit in the salon so bring a jacket! My pedi/mani have lasted 3 maybe 4 weeks- can appreciate that! read more

I have been going here for years. My feet are like the Princess and the pea, so sensitive, but they are very careful and do such a great job with polishing my ugly toes. When I do get a mani, same thing, they do a careful beautiful job. Everyone is courteous and professional. Of note, years ago when my daughters and I came in during a particularly tragic time in our lives--they were kind, caring and lovely and when we came back always asked how we were doing. They really care about their clients as well as do a professional , clean job. read more

Absolutely love my nails every time I get it done here! Lynn is amazing at Dip Powder nails! They are never thick or looking fake! She does a great job every time! The price is also very affordable! After going to my last nail shop for over 5 years it got to the point where I felt that they really started to slack on their services. So I decided to try a new place and I'm glad I did. Kim and Lyn at Perfect Ten Nails & Spa we're amazing. They both really took their time and payed attention to detail in making sure that my nails really were scored at a "perfect ten"! I scheduled an appointment for 2pm and when I arrived I was asked to wash my hands. This made me feel comfortable that they take precautions due to Covid going around. I did have to wait quite a bit, but I didn't mind. I understand that sometimes it can get busy, especially when customers ask for services that were unexpected. However, when they did start on my nails I could see that they had great customer service. I'm really happy that I decided to give them a try and I love the way my nails turned out. They definitely gained a customer and I will be returning. read more

I've been coming here for a couple years now and every time is an even better experience. I love doing different things with my nails to spice it up! They're super creative also they know what will look best on your type of nail. This last time I tried the dip (even though I was a bit unsure if I'd like it) it ended up being awesome. Went in for an appointment yesterday evening. Nail tech who did my mani cut me and I started bleeding (and I was bleeding a lot). Did not see the nail tech perform any sterilization on the tools she used on me. She wiped my blood with a towel that was on a chair? Lol very weird; not hygienic. Felt like she did a rushed job as well. However, the nail tech who did my pedicure did a great job which is why I tipped her a full $20 and didn't give the other lady anything. Sorry not sorry. I've been coming here for almost 7 years and had hit or miss experiences... recently though it's been so bad I have to say goodbye. Courtney is trying so hard to get to the next customer to collect her money that she knicks you and leaves you with bloody and irritated hands... first she cuts, then puts the bonding chemicals over it and burns you. Then she puts your acrylics on crooked and won't listen when you ask her to fix it in the beginning so you don't get to the end only to say again... these nails are crooked. Last time she was as told by another technician that they were very crooked and she got mad and walked away and refused to fix them... if only she had listened in the beginning when she added the tip before the acrylic... she would have had a good experience. Then when she's mad she starts yelling in her foreign language for about 20 minutes straight and you just have to sit through it. Then this time when I arrived, she started yelling again and wouldn't you know... the guy who did my nails skipped a couple steps and my nails look terrible. They don't look like each other, he didn't smooth the surface and said it was better for the color... but now I have nails that look extremely thick as if they added the acrylic and then went straight to the paint... there are bulges by the cuticle and it looks terrible. I think I'm getting the hint... they don't want me in here. I got the hint. Good bye. read more

I needed to go in for a gel removal only and this place was the most affordable and all the techs were super kind! I was able to get in right away! I didn't get a mani or pedi but my friend has been coming here and loves it here too! Would not go back. They rushed through nail prep so quickly it was a hack job. They didn't even remove all the previous nail polish before applying the new one. No cuticle pushing or clean up. Didn't massage my hands, use warm water to prep - nothing. And then when they went to finish off the dip, the application of final / top coat was *so* inconsistent that half my nails were matte and had the texture of un-finished dip powder, and the other half were half-glossy. Shoddy work and nothing in the entire store was clean - basically the fast food of nail salons. Do. Not. Recommend. read more

This almost feels personal, and I've tipped them well each time I come in so I know it's not me. Every time I've gotten my eye brows waxed here the lady tries to make me feel insecure and self conscious about my arm hair and tries to get me to wax it. My gel manicure was a rush job for no reason they were not even busy. I just wanted something cute and simple for Hawaii and the lady made my nails look very lumpy and kept trying to cut my cuticles after she had already painted them. I've had a problem with the service here for awhile and I kept tipping them good thinking maybe they'll treat me better next time but that wasn't the case. I've been coming here since quarantine when they were doing their business outside but it's time to take my business else where. If you're not already a regular that's been coming here for years they won't treat you with the same respect you give them. read more

I got there with beautiful strong long natural nails. They used electric polish to remove a simple gel polish they had put on themselves 2 weeks prior. Instead of soaking they polished my nails that as you can see on the pictures are now pealing off and had to cut them short cause they are thin. I asked the manicurist why she was using the electric device instead of just letting it soak, she said it takes longer. So she decided to damage my nail instead, without asking me, even though the salon was completely empty. So disappointed at the lack of care. read more

Another hole-in-the-wall nail salon. Just avoid. This past year has really gone downhill. The nail techs (all) do a mediocre job and HOUND you for tips afterwards. I hate tipping for a mediocre job, but i do when they have the audacity to ask. I don't mind tipping but they don't want to add it to the credit card. They INSIST you pay them cash or to zelle/Venmo/cash app them (probably to avoid taxes). I have to make three different purchases every time I go for a mani pedi! They rush you out of the chair to serve the next customers BUT they don't let you leave until the tip payment goes through. They don't even look up to thank you. It's expected. So rude. Regarding the service, they stopped shaping the nails evenly when they do dip. They don't clean under the nails nor clean the nail dust off your fingers after buffing. The results are usually bumpy. Last time I went, the dip didn't stay and completely came off (same day!). I went somewhere else to get my whole set fixed. I contacted them regarding this and they said they'll do a better job next time. I doubt it. Save your money and go to a reputable place. I will remove this review when this gets resolved ‍ read more

I usually come to Perfect Ten Nails & Spa for all of my manicures and pedicures and have gotten great work done, but I was rushed and told I was difficult for asking for this particular manicure design. I asked her to make the lines thicker as I did not like the design and she refused. I did not get what I asked for, was rushed and told I was difficult for asking for a basic design. If you are looking to get a cool design done I would recommend going elsewhere. Otherwise for basic coloring and basic manicures they should be fine. But beware, if they are in a rush they might not do a great job. read more

This review is long over due. I first started going here when I lived 2 mins away. I now live 20 mins away and still a regular here. They are professional and accommodating. I have gone through every technician there and everyone does a good job and the prices are reasonable. I know certain services are done by specific technician (i.e. acrylics and nail art) but for gel mani or pedi, I have yet to be disappointed. I had to leave this review because I realized how nice my French tip came out done by Anni yesterday. I knew she was meticulous and was constantly checking her work but I didn't expect perfection! Bottom line, there are better places. Just move on down the list. Might be affordable ($46 for gel mani and pedi vs $55 in my usual weho salon) and parking is pretty good. Lots of gel colors. Lots of newish magazines. Tvs playing FRIENDS (who doesn't love #Tbt the Ross and Rachel) But they did a pretty crappy job on my nails, which is the reason you go to a nail salon. Not to watch FRIENDS. I got glitter gel and there is glitter all over my fingers and cuticles. Pretty unacceptable. Disappointing. Had appt to go with friends. Timing was off, as other honest reviews have reported. My friends' also left with cut toe cuticle that was bleeding and never ended up getting to her nail fill. They comp'd her pedi, as they should, after she suggested she was worried about getting an infection from them painting over the blood. Bottom line, there are better places. Just move on down the list. read more

After my last set from Perfect 10, I MUST leave this review. I went in for a Full-set. I let them know, prior, that my last sets have all cracked & broken quickly(which was the issue in November, and why I didn't go back there until NYE), she assured me this won't happen again. It was a fresh set (& a different tech) Welp, 4 days in & my thumb nail breaks. A week in, both my pinky's split mid-nail bed! Now I've no REAL pinky nails, a broken thumb nail, & a split and chipped thumb nail. And I can't even get a new set, because my skin is exposed on my pinky's. Love Courtney, her pedi's are amazing! I've gotten about 4 pedi's there and she's done 2 of them, never disappointed. The other 2--won't even mention. I've chalked it up to poor quality of products used. I've never had so many sets of nails either break or crack from one establishment. & I don't even work with my hands! So,for that I can't give them my hard earned money. PLUS, the receptionist and manager's attitude were terrible my last visit. When I was paying the receptionist said "$93 will go on your card, have tips in cash" and from THAT moment I Literally COULD NOT. I work in hospitality, so I'm a stickler for tact & professionalism. 2-Stars because my nails & shapes are always pretty. Negative 3-stars because they're usually ruined within the 1st week. read more

Pampering day for me! I love this place! So before Covid my daughter and I would go every 3 or 4 weeks to get our nails done. My daughter usually asks for Alex to do her acrylics because he always does a great job. I don't usually request anyone and have been lucky. AlwaYs happy and satisfied. Today was another good day. I got Tisha and she was great! This place is a little more expensive but worth it and I am willing to drive the 25 minutes. read more

I WON'T BE BACK! I get that people get hungry when working, but, please don't get up and go in the back room to eat while you're tending a client. Also not a good idea, talking on the phone. I'm sure the conversation can wait. If it can't, then please excuse yourself and take the call. Also, listening to music with AirPods in your ears isn't professional. It makes communication even harder and gives the impression that you just don't care about the client. The latter was my technician, so when he asked me if I wanted my nails cut I said yes, then he filed them instead. I guess his music was too loud to hear me say YES. This place needs new management for sure! read more

I've been going to this place every 2-3 weeks for the past 6 months and have never had a bad experience. My nails always look so incredible. I always get a natural looking acrylic with gel. I have tried (not exaggerating) about 10 nails salons in the area over the last couple years and have never found a more consistent spot. Every person who has done my acrylics has always done a great job. Some are better than others but I am SO PICKY so the fact that I am happy with everyone's work says a lot. The prices are fantastic, the salon itself is nice enough, nothing outstanding. I come here for the amazing staff and beautiful nails. I got my first full set here in December and got fills up until JUNE! JUNE!!!!! Just got them removed and got a new set. I can not believe they seriously looked good for 5 almost 6 full months! All the other spots I tried I would only be able to get 3-4 fills tops before getting a new set because they would start to discolor and lift. The only times I've had nails break were towards the end in May when I could tell i just needed a new set soon anyways. So happy with this place, they will always try to squeeze people in and truly care about their business. They're always busy but have never turned me away without an appt. read more

The suite is clean, cute and comfortable. Rachel was so warm and kind and made me feel very comfortable and walked me through the process with ease. She is gentle and kind during the waxing and finished in about 10 minutes. Her prices are also fair and affordable. Making an appointment is a breeze - first time clients need to fill out an initial survey (super quick and easy) which I did before completing my appointment request. She also sends a reminder leading up the appointment and the day of the appointment. Overall, I had an awesome experience and will be returning for my next wax. Thank you Rachel, you are so sweet!

At my most recent appointment, I was unfortunately about 20 minutes late. I did call ahead to let them know, and I completely understand that being late impacts scheduling. I take full responsibility for that and truly respect everyone's time. That said, when I arrived, I felt that my wax specialist's demeanor was noticeably rushed and cold compared to my past visits. She let me know she wouldn't be able to complete all of the services due to my lateness, which I understood. I was then passed to another specialist who ended up being great and very kind. What stood out to me was the difference in energy...during my service things felt tense and short, yet I could hear her being very giddy and talkative with her next client. It just made me feel a bit uncomfortable and unwelcome, especially since I already felt bad about being late. I've had many good experiences here over the years, so this was just an unfortunate first negative one. I believe in accountability, but I also value professionalism and kindness, even when things don't go perfectly. I hope this was just an off day.
