This was so disappointing. They rushed and didn't even finish my set. They did gelX and didn't ask if that was what I wanted, and charged almost $300 for my set, and 3 pedicures, 1 which was my bfs who didn't get any color at all and my daughter who got gel. The guy who did my set was in a rush and I asked him if he had time, if not I was okay with just a pedicure and he said no, but didn't even finish. He put the nails on, painted them and called it a day. No cleaning up or filing to fit my fingers or anything. They look like I just put a cheap press on nail set on. And to top it off, my toe nail is crooked. I'm sorry but don't waist your time or money here. They are a scam and my friend got her bikini waxed and said it was crooked too! Do not come here for gel builder!! You will waste your money. I arrived for my appt only to find out my nail tech did not know how to do a gel builder fill. I waited patiently for about 30 min for another tech to be available. Finally, the original tech started by drilling off my existing set. After this, I waited again for the other tech who eventually stopped her current client to start my nails. It was very clear she was rushing and she very sloppily globbed on a thick layer of gel builder with out leveling it or letting it settle before curing. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture but my nails literally looked deformed. I tried to voice my concern over her technique but she told me she has been doing this for 20 years and her way is the right way. I tried pointing out that in addition to the globs of gel builder she also skipped prepping my nail bed with acetone/alcohol and base. Additionally, she did not shorten my nails until AFTER applying the builder so now my nails are very sharp on the edges. She also did not remove my cuticles so there is gel builder attached to my cuticles and in some areas the gel builder is non existent. The original nail tech then completed the job by filing and shaping the very best she could but my nails turned out looking like Barbie press ons. They are very flat with no apex and just poorly done. I anticipate cracking and peeling just like when I tried to do my own nails. I have been getting my nails done for about 2 years now with gel builder and this is definitely the worst job ever due to the poor application of builder. Even my husband asked what happened to my nails! Would give one star but giving 2 stars since my original nail tech tried her best. Updated post with pictures 1 week after "manicure". I work from home at a computer all day so there is no reason my nails should look like this. read more

Never setting foot again. Got a Gel X manicure Sunday 12/12/2021 -- $65 before tip. First the tech made two of my fingers bleed with the filing machine (picture of pinky scab three days later). Then that same night the nail on my right thumb popped clean off. The following day, my left index. I got this manicure ahead of a trip and had no time to come in and get them fixed. I called asking for a refund since I'd have to get my nails re-done during my trip and the man on the phone said "we have a sign that says no refunds, i don't know if you read it..." Definitely not a vibe tbh, I paid $98 for half buffed, non clipped nails. I had polish on and the lady didn't even take it off, she just tried to buff over it, the pedi was horrible and I think she charged me for the leg massage on the one leg because she didn't do the other one. I had such high hopes. I've been looking for a stellar nail salon in the valley. I got a dip mani and regular pedicure last Friday. On Monday, one dip nail came completely off whole and I went back for a fix. Now on Thursday, I have a chip on the other hand. I paid over $80 for this and it's maybe the most expensive dip I've had that is now also lasting the shortest time. I understand all business are hurting from the pandemic and I'm happy to pay a premium but I expect premium results too. A dip should last at least 2 weeks and in the past mine have lasted a lot longer. I am frustrated with salons charging such a high cost for this to happen. None of these salons are luxurious either. They are fine but your typical cheaper salon. No hand massage, light foot scrub, etc. I was even asked to bend down and wash the dip powder off in the pedicure pin below. If anyone has recommendations- I'll take them! I would love for my nails to be evenly shaped and for a dip to last 2 full weeks. read more

I'm over it. I've been a loyal customer for a while now and this week was my last straw. I always make an appointment but half the time I'm stuck waiting 30-40 minutes because they accept too many walk ins and walk ins are a priority above people who make an appointment. Had to wait again the other day despite making an appointment several days ago. Here are some other issues with this place: 1.) DO NOT GET OMBRÉ HERE. I saw another review say how terrible they do on ombré and she was right! I pulled up a photo of Pink and Orange ombré I was dying to get and the lady refused to do it and said it would look bad. So i sat there finding different ombré colors. Found one with blue and pink - and she refused and said it would look bad. Another 10 minutes later I found an ugly yellow and blue ombré and she agreed to do it for whatever reason and it turned out SOOO BAD. I don't know why they don't tell people that they don't know how to do ombré!! I PAID SO MONEY FOR THAT GARBAGE . Will insert photos . 2.) One time I showed a photo of cow print and they painted BLACK CLOUDS...??? So i had to go home and repaint my own nails in cow print . I should have just asked for the paint brush at the salon and painted black spots myself. 3.) Another time I showed a photo with like round rhinestones and the lady put triangle and diamond shaped rhinestones on my fingers .. i didn't even ask for that!! I ended up paying for it anyway because I didn't know what to do. 4.) several times I've had to correct the nail techs because they do not cover the edge of my nails and they make my nails uneven on occasion. There's a couple nail techs who do a better job though. And this week was my last straw . The lady was doing my nails and towards the end she was rushing and getting up to do a lady's pedicure!! WHILE STILL PUTTING ANOTHER COAT ON ME. She was literally going back and fourth and rushing me out!!! I MADE AN APPOINTMENT AND HAD TO WAIT 30-40 MINUTES TO EVEN START AND THEN YOU RUSH ME OUT???? she didn't even cover the full nail with polish, had to go home and fix that! The edges were uneven too. Came here for the first time last weekend and had a good experience. I recently moved to NOHO, so I've been searching around for a nail salon, but then everything closed so I couldn't get an appointment. As soon as things opened again, I called and was able to get an appointment the following day. The salon is pretty small, but everyone was at like every other station, so I felt okay. They make you wash your hands upon arrival, everyone wears masks, and there's a barrier between you and the artist. It was difficult to hear through the barrier and mask but I think Karen did my nails? I couldn't quite make out her name. From my experience, it usually takes about an hour for anyone to do gel nails, but she was so fast and got it done in 45 minutes. She was super meticulous with the preparation of the nails prior to painting the gel and even spot checked after the color was on, so I was even more surprised at how fast she was. I was very satisfied with her and the experience. I would recommend coming here. It's also nice to just walk around outside because there are a ton of places to eat. read more

All I experienced was very poor costumer service. I called and asked to have my appointment with Jenny, based on the positive reviews. I was rushing to my appointment at 4pm. Jenny asked me to wait 10 min on a chair outside. She called me in after 15 and had one of the guys approaching me. I got confused "are you Jenny"? They both chuckled from embarrassment when they realized that I noticed their manipulation. I waited for 15 more min and Then Jenny approached and asked if I would like to get my nails done with one of her other employees. I couldn't believe it. I said "Jenny I asked for you?...why are you trying to avoid doing my nails?" She replied- "no.. I just have another costumer" right when this other lady came to her appointment with her. Terrible experience. I went in to get my eyebrows done. The girl waxed the top/bottom of my eyebrows which I guess is better then nothing. When she finished I asked her if she can pluck under the eyebrows and she just said "your done" and opened the door. I was charged $15, I still tipped because I always feel bad for not tipping. I Zelled them the money while I was there and it went through so I left. They kept calling me (felt like they were harassing me) to say I didn't pay and needed to send it again. I've only been coming here 3-4 months and like many other say, I kept trying because I liked the place at first, but I've just HAD IT!!!!! Every time it's something! The woman who did my fill today up charged me without telling me and was yelling at me from across the whole shop. Id asked her to please make sure my nails weren't too thin. reason being, the last time she'd done my nails FIVE OF TEN CRACKED/ BROKE WITHIN 2 DAYS. I was BLEEDING, in pain (ladies, you know when nails crack and bleed and hair gets caught in them ?yea.... ) She of course got an attitude when I'd asked, but I protect my peace and ignored her. I asked for a breakdown of the charges in the end, because it seemed very high. Turns out she charged me for "extra powder", claiming she had to "charge extra, because the amount of powder it took to make them thicker was the amount it'd take for a full set". Honestly, I've never heard no stupid s*#t like that in all my 20 years getting nails done. Everyone in the shop was dumbfounded. Including the woman who's nails she was then repairing from breaking, chipping and being uneven at that moment.... Let's back track tho. When those 5/10 nails broke, I called to make an appointment for them to be repaired. The man who answered lied and said they were fully booked and wouldn't have openings for several days. That sounded strange to me, so I asked my boyfriend to call and make me an appointment for a full set. (Surely if you have time for a full set, you have time for repairs right?) What do you know, full availability....I get there and they all played dumb as though they didn't recognize me or know if I'd truly gotten service there, forcing me to wait. I couldn't just leave, my fingers were just hurting too bad and my boyfriend was having back surgery the next morning, so I needed my hands and had no time to bs. One of the men who'd done my moms pedi the 2 days prior eventually just felt bad and fixed them for me. Another 2x prior, my gel pedi rubbed right off. Never seen that before in my life, but they definitely made me feel like a bad person for going back asking them to fix it. I could sadly keep going, but I think that says enough. When did finding a good nail shop become so difficult? If you do go, just be VERY STERN AND HOLD YOUR GROUNDS!! Don't feel bad, like many of us! These people are RUUDDDEEE and dgaf! read more

Following up on my last review posted yesterday with an update. After the neglect that JENNY and her nail tech caused, my fingers are in constant AGONY...I have to keep them covered and can not use hand sanitizer from all the cuts she and her other nail tech caused on my fingers and cuticle beds.. This has been an extremely PAINFUL and emotional situation. Due to JENNY and her team's neglect, I have to keep my hands and fingers covered in antibacterial/anti fungal ointment; so to not get infected. I can't use hand sanitizer at the moment and I may Habsburg to go to urgent care to address a very deep cut on my finger that is causing swelling. I reached out to Jenny and asked for a refund and she SCREAMED AT ME TO TAKE DOWN MY ORIGINAL REVIEW because it would mess up her reputation and I was BAFFLED!!! Excuse my language but who gives a rats ass about your reputation, what about my bleeding and swollen fingers that YOU CAUSED! I URGE anyone to avoid JENNY's nail salon at all costs!! Depending on what treatment I'll need to address my deep cuts, I plan to sue for negligence and emotional distress. read more

The pricing is fair and there is plenty of parking options. My gel manicure lasts a long time as well- i have gone to other nail salons and they never last this long. Jenny is the best. I was really excited to get my nails done tonight because my birthday is coming up this weekend and I had heard great things about the salon but I have got to be honest with all of you run for the hills this is horrific. Jenny did my nails and the process truly made me hysterically cry after. The pictures speak for themselves but here's my experience. She rushed me my nails took her 25 minutes to do which is pretty much unheard of at nail salons, she was rushing she was visibly aggravated she made three phone calls during my nails and was very aggressive with me. at one point I asked her if she was going to do two coats of the white because I had never had a French gel manicure before and she told me verbatim "you need to relax"!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????? I have no idea who the hell she thought she was talking to but I was not letting that fly at all. In the end my nails turned out with bubbles with my old nail polish still on the sides of my nails. They are chipped and horrible. I called and I asked for a refund which I was able to go back and they gave me cash I actually let her keep the tip because the rule is that I'd never leave a salon without tipping my stylus even if they do a really bad job because that's the polite thing to do but I let her keep the tip and I got a refund. The man working the front is the manager he is very nice and very professional I would highly recommend that if you're looking for a nail salon run away from this one. read more
