I am not one to post a bad review but I feel the need to. I have been going here for 9 months.There were times I made an appointment but the wait was going to be so long that I would leave and comeback. However on one occasion, I called and said I was running 5 minutes late yet when I got there , he took someone else because I was late.Then I noticed other clients were charged $40 and I was charged $45, when I asked why the owner said it was because my nails were longer and that $40 is only if they are short just to where your skin ends. This last appointment I couldn't wait to get out of there!!! For some reason, 90% of the time he ( let's call him Jo ) can't file the ring fingers straight after having gel fill. Yesterday was the worst!!! After reminding him 3 times which he was getting annoyed, I didn't say anything again till he was finished which was egregiously crooked. I held it up and showed him and he told me I told him to do that. I told him to file the edge and he proceeded to do what he did. Then he holds my hand while it's up, looks at it and says to me " next time I fix" and pushes my hand down!!! I told him I'm not walking around like this 3 weeks and he says "what do you want me to do" (angrily) and I said "fix it". He did but a really fast terrible job. The lengths are so uneven and noticeable. There will be no next time, and you don't get to push anyone's hand down and say next time. Change the name of the salon because it's not Perfect Nails.....NOT surprised its rating is so low! read more

My appointment was for 11:45 AM. Angel was my nail tech. I am a returning customer. This is not my first time coming here. I was taken at 12p. Mind you if you run late to your appointment you won't be seen. Angel was rushing my nails today and did a terrible job. The payment was $80 !!!!!! An I still tipped her $10. I went back in to speak with Leah the owner. Because I was so upset with my nails. So, instead of trying to see what I didn't like about them, she brushed me off told me it was my problem and was trying to argue . You would think as a business owner you would want your customers to leave satisfied. Honestly after what I experienced today. Went to this salon for Aleah that was highly recommended. When I told her I wanted a gel manicure she was the least bit interested. She tried to sway me into tips but I said no. She had me wait at her table for 20 minutes while she disappeared into the back of the salon. When she did come back she rushed through my nails and did a horrible sloppy job. I brought my sister in who is 7 months pregnant to get her a pedicure and they tore her feet up. Pictures attached. My brother in law had to fight them to get a refund because it was so bad. She was in so much pain to walk afterwards. For my own experience, I also got a pedicure and it was literally 10 minutes. When it got to the toe nail cutting I told the guy shorter and he proceeded to do what ever he wanted with out cutting them. Then I told him that there was a piece of nail lifting up when he was painting the nail and you could see the cut, and he said it's because I had a slice in my toe nail which I did but I told him that I wanted the nail cut shorter so that that piece wouldn't chip in a day. And he started to yell at me and repeat what he said. So I just shut my mouth. So now it is two days later and the nail is chipped and I had to cut my own nails and now the nail polish is all jacked up because he didn't want to listen to me. He was very rude. I was very embarrassed to bring my sister in there because I told her from past experiences it was so good. This time it seemed as if they got new people and I unfortunately got one of the new people. He was very rude and I would never go to him again. My 12-year-old also got a full set of nails. And where she has sparkles, it is see-through and not solid finished color. And her pointer finger is much longer than all the other nails. Very unhappy experience, again will not be going back. 90$ down the drain!! I am usually the type to call and compliment a business and unfortunately this was not one of those times. Really disappointed in my pedicure today. I opted for the $50 spa pedicure as this mama really needed to relax and just enjoy herself. Too bad it was anything but relaxing or enjoyable. The pedicure itself was very rushed and below par. They didn't even do 1/2 the stuff they "advertised" as being included. I even paid for an extra massage which was horrible and she didn't even massage my feet. She was just patting my legs and scrubbing them with the different lotions. She didn't do any work on the feet or toes and didn't even take off the polish underneath. None of the equipment was new or sterilized and seemed very dirty. My toes would look better if a 5 year old painted them. They are extremely sloppy. There are so many other places in the area. I would not waste my time here again. read more

I went for a regular manicure which is a treat for me. He rushed through the process and I left with a subpar manicure. The next morning the polish was already chipping. Went back to ask for a re polish and was given an attitude and was told "that's normal" several times. He proceeded to polish over the existing color and was unwilling to take it off and redo it. Unfortunately we had a bad experience at this place. I had a powder gel manicure which started by one technician working on my nails and then midway through another clinician took over. They rushed the process, burned my nail beds with their drill and my nails didn't have a professional look after. Very disappointing, won't be back. read more

I got a regular manicure and pedicure for the 1st time at Perfect Nails but they don't use O.P.I. nail polish. they use a cheap watery polish and my manicure only lasted a day till it started to chip. When I go to my regular salon and they use OPI polish the manicure is good for almost 10 days before it shows signs of chipping. I will not go to perfect nails again. read more

This nail salon recently got new owners so please dont be discouraged by previews reviews that were not good! I recently went there and got my nails done by Steven, one of the new owners, and it was a wonderful experience. He is young and is more aware of trends or updated styles for younger clientele. They have a new updated color selection and the prices are very reasonable. I paid $40 for a gel fill but i also got designs on my nails and he had to repair a nail i had broken before my appointment. I am so disappointed with this salon. I have been going here for a few months and I can say I loved it until my last appointment. The person doing my nails (owner) was having a bad day phone lines were down she was running 20 minutes behind just over all not good. I gave her a design (easy one) in which I always do and they have been harder. Well what she was doing was absolutely horrible she even said wow thats a lot of hearts! When I finally got to look at them they were so messy and didn't even look like the pic I gave her. Usually I am the type of person that will say it's ok and deal with it but this I couldn't I couldn't even look at them that's how bad they looked! So of course I said I don't like them and she says something in Vietnamese and here comes the other workers oh they look good says one person the other worker had such a face looking at them like wow not good. So the now the owner says here let me take a picture (gas lighting me like she was gonna post them because they look so good) takes the pic and proceeds to say go over to him he will take it off. He takes off my ugly gel designs and says why don't you like they are nice. I told him don't go there I am not stupid I know what looks good and doesn't been getting my nails done for 30 something years! Top it off he takes off the design and tells me ok you done. I freaked out on him I can't walk out like this you better polish them. He does I pay and will never go there again!! If it wasn't for the girl who did my pedicure I would rate this with no stars. Pedicure was good, she took her time and double checked everything. As for getting my nails done, I have never been treated so horribly. I have wide thumbs and when he saw them he was like wow you have fat ones. Then he actually got into an argument with me! Four of my nails were crooked, I only asked him to fix two because they were almost sideways! The first one he filed a little and asked me if he really had to fix it! And the second he told me he shouldn't have to fix it because my finger is crooked! My finger is not crooked and even if it is, make the nails look nice! I was very upset with new management! My son bought me a $150 gift certificate (Christmas 2019) April 1st I was diagnosed with Covid. Had severe case, hospitalized with bilateral pneumonia, new cardiac condition, neuropathy (unable to ambulate) was in physical therapy for 3 months. Jack the owner did my nails and destroyed my fingers. Made multiple nails bleed. He didn't wear gloves AND didn't wash his hands. He touched the payment desk and tools with my blood all over his fingers. Very gross and disgusting. Never got money off either. read more

I usually love this place, but my recent visit was very disappointing. The owners are the best to get your nails and feet done, but they were busy when my sister and I went. The lady that did my sisters and mine feet was a little older and rushed our pedicures. She barely scrubbed and massaged our feet and didn't even touch my legs. I asked her to use the "cheese grader" because I am an athletic and needed a scrub and she ignored me and just washed the soap off. The color on my toes already started to chip after 4 days considering she rushed it. I have to be honest that it was the worst pedicure I ever had and I didn't even want to tip her, but of course did. I live relatively close to Perfect Nails, and I read decent reviews so I decided to get a gel fill there. The man who did my nails (not the owner) was rude, and I had to wait while he sat in front of me on his phone for five minutes. Then, after I showed him the color that I wanted with the same length and shape that I had before (which was coffin shape), he proceeded to cut my nail short. He was very rough with my hands, and he was making the entire experience very uncomfortable. Getting your nails done is supposed to make you feel relaxed and satisfied. My experience was quite the contrary. It was rushed, and the nails turned out so thick and unnatural-looking. I went to the store and talked to Christy, who redid my nails right away. She was very nice, and her cooperation is the only reason why I am not giving them a one-star review. Even still, it has been a week and two days since my appointment and three of my nails are already chipped. I will never go back to Perfect Nails again. read more

I went to Perfect Nails for the 5 years I've lived in Silverton...the owners, Jack and Rose are amazing. However, the last few times I went, I was given another man who smoked, was nasty and just didn't do a good job. I kept on overlooking this guy because I loved the salon and the owners, but the last time I went in, I had had enough. I went in, and the guy (whose name I unfortunately don't know) began the job and was nasty, kept rolling his eyes and was just rude to me, had to leave to smoke. So, another person finished, and meanwhile, the rude guy took of his shoes, lay down on the couch (meant for waiting customers) and FELL ASLEEP. I was so uncomfortable. I wasn't sure whether to say something or just leave as quickly as possible. I chose the latter.
