I've been going to this salon for 20 years and I'm officially walking! I've brought in images I know that their artists are capable of doing (because I've gotten them before) and all of a sudden, they suck! My nails have been done terribly the past few months I've gone. Because I was so loyal to them, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Yeah, they don't deserve it. They're rude af. They can speak English (idc what one speaks, but when running a business and speaking Vietnamese to another girl and staring at me, I feel like I'm being talked about and I'm not the only one who's said that). They do sloppy work and they rush you unless the place is empty. They make up the prices. I've paid $50 - $85 for the same damn nails! Like wtf? I should have gotten paid to rock these heinous nails. I officially fire tnt! If you insist on going, use Candy (most talented), Kim (second most talented), or Alex (he's gentle but has bad color schematics). What a waste of money! I felt terrible for a girl getting her nails done there for her wedding. They were subpar at best and she looked like she wanted to cry. I asked her if she liked her nails and she nodded no. The shop was sold awhile ago . The owners (Lee and Dorothy ) had stayed on to help the new owners with the transition. They have worked so hard to build this business , no vacations or days off . And wanted the new owners to succeed . I have been a customer for over 20+ Years. I was noticing a change and not for the better,If I called to make appointment with Lee they would tell me he was booked and tried to give me someone else . The prices are outrageous ! horrible my nail shape is awful, every nail was crooked, left acrylic all over my fingers, design isnt what i asked for when i told her my nails were crooked and the shape was off, she wouldnt fix it and kept telling me they looked pretty they werent pretty at all. this has been the worst experience ive ever had with my nails at any salon within 10 years. I had previously visited this salon, and had an OK mani/pedi. Went to same person (Nancy) and had the most awful experience. I'm not going to complain about having to wait, the shitty chairs, overall roughness, sub-par massage, hot towels, etc. I'm also not going to comment on the dirty looks she gave me nonstop when I was a little slow getting out of the pedi chair. That's just rude and unprofessional. (1) I need a hip replacement - badly. When I tried to reposition myself to try and stop the pain radiating, Nancy rudely pushed my leg back, despite my telling her several times that I need to minimally adjust myself. (2) There was one tiny fan by my feet. Which did nothing to dry them. (3) My nail polish was applied sloppily. I had FIVE NAILS get dented/chipped. (4) WHEN I WENT BACK, THIS IS WHAT I WAS TOLD! "It's my fault for having natural nails", "We don't do a communal dryer due to COVID" (my sister's salon has no issues starting it back up). When I had the audacity to state the completely awful job that was done the "ASS(issant) Manager actually said to me (in a sing-song voice). SO, YOU WANT ME TO SAY "I'M SORRY"? (5) I asked for a fan to be able to have my nails dry properly. Might I also add that I've had my natural nails done IN OTHER SALONS. They've come out beautifully. Yet another dirty look for that request. A fan was put on my nails that blew on my chest. I asked for it to be repositioned so that my nails were dry. I think I'm approaching 6 dirty looks so far. (6) I stayed with the 2 fans for 1/2 an hour then left. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE! I PAID $45 FOR THIS, PLUS LEFT A $7 TIP. And remember - when service is good, I tell everybody. I went there for a mani/ pedi. They turned out great! I've been here before and have had no issues. But recently I also got my eyebrows done. I told the owner(I believe it was her) how I wanted them. I haven't gotten them done in a while, so my eyebrow were pretty full/ bushier than normal. SHE HAD A LOT TO WORK WITH! She took off the end of one of my eyebrows and then left my eyebrows with a HUGE gap in between. My eyebrows are unsymmetrical. They not even related, let alone sisters. When I looked in the mirror I was ready to cry. She told me "that's how my eyebrows were." I called up people to have them look at them and get their opinion on them, and they all said the exact same thing as me. I have no issues with people making mistakes, but at least own up to it. I walked out of TNT Nails upset and they didn't even apologize. They suggested for me to "fill it in." They do good nails, just wouldn't recommend getting your eyebrows done there! *In the first pic I filled them in to get an idea of how my natural brows looked before she did them. So I usually only get my gel pedicure done here I've only gotten my nails done once by them & that's only because I had my main nail salon that I've been going to for years but the owner & workers here are ALWAYS so sweet, nice & accommodating every time I come in. They knew I was on a bit of a time crunch so I would've had to stop at my main nail salon later anyway to get my nails done so the manager convinced me to get them done there real quick they made the time for me right after I got my toes done & they were fast! Let me tell you, it was the best idea ever! TNT is my new MAIN nail salon now! They did an AMAZING/BEAUTIFUL job!! Kim did my nails she was fast, knew exactly what to do with them & made sure I liked every nail before continuing. The shape is perfect, & the design is nice & light yet classy & festive everything I wanted! The price was perfect too! $10 cheaper than my usual nail spot! I'm beyond happy with my experience with them & my nails I'm very anal when it comes to my nails too but they exceeded my expectations can't thank them enough! read more

Giving them a one is a compliment. The woman that did my nails I think her name is Joy. I was so embarrassed because I had to go back the next day because my nails were already lifting. She was so rude to me and acted like she was the best and it somehow was my fault that the nails were lifting. I went there one more time but was not happy and noticed that a couple of people that were having their nails done dirt nailbed actually looked horrible as if maybe they're not doing a good job at all over there. Ok. I admit it. I love an occasional pedi. I'm on my feet long days and usually end up hacking my toes and causing more harm than good. So the occasional treatment is great. These folks do an outstanding job with the basic pedi. (No color please). Very clean shop. Clean tools every time. That counts!! Not the cheapest but certainly worth the extra $ to get it done right and clean. read more

Needed my daughters nails done for vacation so here we are .. not even 10 mins in to her appt I'm given a receipt by the tech saying to go to the front to pay. Mind you she was only charging me for the pedicure when her appt was for a pedicure and manicure. So the ticket was receipt was corrected and handed back to me to go up to the front and pay. I advised the tech I would pay once the services were completed. So the boss instructed the very nice receptionist to ask me to pay because they "wanted to close down the registers" mind you there is a salon full of women receiving their services including those who just sound down! Well, my regular place was closed but I wanted to treat myself so I came here. I haven't come here in over 5 years because they did an awful job on a gel manicure and I swore I'd never go back. But I figured after 5 years I could try again. Big mistake. I told Nancy I wanted my nails straight across and square. They're rounded and uneven. Then she filed so hard on the sides that she split two of my fingers. (See pic) You can't tell by the pictures but the black gel polish I chose looks blue in the light and several nails are see through. Needless to say I should've stayed away. I had my pedicure and Dorothy was still working on the same lady. I waited. Then she told me to go sit at her table. I did. I waited another 10 minutes while Dorothy answered phones, set up walk ins, and played cashier. Then she has the audacity to ask me to move to another chair because she had to take the appointment schedule AFTER me. Wrong. My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a mani-pedi today. Our neighbors have spoken highly of TNT Nails so we tried it. We were given a specific name but that person wasn't available. We should have returned another time. Both of us ended up being cut and bleeding. I actually started to file my own nails due to total incompetence. I've been coming here for probably 5 years and feel like I keep giving them too many chances. Well, this is it. On the last visit where I was actually serviced, about a month ago, the technician (Katie) practically harassed me about upgrading to a gel pedicure so many times that I actually felt pressured to do the service. Now for today, I made a 12:00 appointment for a pedicure. The receptionist had me wait in a chair for the next available technician. 25+ minutes go by without a single word, when I see a couple get seated, and a technician spring up to go service them. I went here for a spa pedicure.. The pedicure was great... Negative parts were I was in chair for 3 hours!!! And she cut my little toe Wayyy to short so now it's red and puffy, and hard to walk on. I Can barely wear shoes comfortably. She also cut my big toe and that's infected too...they really aren't suppose to cut out ingrown toenails and she did. The loofah she used to scrub my feet was worn and in really bad shape . So I have two infected toes which are very painful. I really want to go back and show them what the lady did. When she was waxing my eyebrows she was grabbing my head roughly to move side to side. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Not for nothing. I liked my nails but getting an appointment has been nothing but bad experiences after another. This one topped it all off. The first time I went I waited 45 minutes past my appointment. Why even bother making one. This time, I made my appointment over the phone for my only day off before the wedding I'm in this week...they messed up my appointment and the girl over the phone booked me for a time they would be closed. When I walked in early, for what was supposed to be my appointment, they told me they were closed and had NO sympathy about the mess up on their part, as I was in almost in tears of stress being my only day to get my nails done before my sisters wedding. I triple checked twice with the receptionist about being open when I booked 5 days prior. What a let down and lack of empathy. Thank god a local nail salon took me in a half hour before they closed. Absolutely horrible. I usually go elsewhere, but happened to be in the area so I decided I would try them. Guy who did my nails, Tony, was very rough with my hands, yanked my arm a few times which was pretty annoying since I just had shoulder surgery, so it was a little painful. I always get just a regular color over my acrylics. I'm a college student living on my own, so paying extra for gel, even if it's "only 10 dollars", is not in my budget. I can deal with the color fading before my next visit. He must have asked me five times, "gel right? why not, it's only 10 dollars?" Well, it's been three days and FIVE of my nails have either chipped, cracked or broke all together. I have never once had a nail break, I keep them very short. Two of them I'm not even sure when they broke, and the other three were broken doing almost nothing. As much as I don't want to go back there, and I hardly EVER complain about service, I'm going to stop in today after work and attempt to have them either fix them all, or refund me (including the dollar service charge for using a credit card. As someone else mentioned, this IS illegal.) And they told me after they ran my card that I couldn't tip them on it.. So I had to use their ATM anyway! UGH. So annoyed with this place. So I just went to TNT nails. I wanted a fill and a Christmas design and I also had one broken nail. So I'm getting my nails done and the lady who is doing them turns to her neighbor and says how much extra for her fill and she said ten dollars. So I ignored it thinking it was going to be ten dollars more than the starting 26 dollars of my fill due to the broken nail and the design I wanted which would have brought my total to 36 dollars which is usually what I spend for my nails alone. So , then the lady doing my nails leans in and tells me my nails will be 54 dollars NOT including my design. So of course I'm like what ?? Because 54 dollars is what I would assume my nails and toes to be if they were done together. But no , it was just for my f****** fill. So then I immediately get pissed off. So I waited through my fill because I wanted to ask her privately why my nails were so expensive because I didn't want to make a scene. So I then 86'd the design I wanted because 62 dollars is a lot of money (it would have been 8 dollars for her to "try" to do the design I showed her. "uh I can try it"is what she said to me. So I told her to just do plain red which is completely not what I wanted but I needed my nails done at this point and again didn't want to make a scene. Speeding past the story I get to her writing my check out and I say " What is the price of your nail repair " and she proceeds to tell me 5 dollars when her board says 3. Then she tells me it's 5 for the coffin shape as well which is normal. So that's 10 extra dollars. Which again like I said from what the board says my fill should have started at 26 however because I have LONG NAILS my fill apparently starts at 36?? So $36 plus $10 for the shape and the nail repair which makes that 46 and then 9 dollars to style them because they are long LOL . THATS NOT THE WORST PART ! Worst part is a lady next to me decided last minute she wanted a Christmas design. The lady (who told her my nails were 10 extra - her neighbor) gave her green and red lines on EVERY nail . She got a manicure (on the board the price for this was 26 dollars as well) and designs on every finger and paid THIRTY SIX DOLLARS ! Also ,the person who did my nails put her gloves on and she goes " I have to put my condom on " and laughs thinking that's so funny mind you I thought it was the most unprofessional thing someone could say to a customer. So speeding past that , the lady who did my nails leans in and says I don't agree with the price but ‍ so I got up and reluctantly paid my bill because of course I'm the only black person in there and they already look at you like you don't have any money. So I paid the money and the minute I left the store I balled my eyes out.I don't make anything about race but that was the second time in my life that my gut told me something wasn't right.
