I visited this nail salon a few times in the past 3 years. Today I learned it's under new management/ownership with all new staff. Overall, it seems to be a much better place: it's now clean, uncluttered, and no longer smells like spilled acetone. The manager, Kim, is very professional and enthusiastic. Went in for a quick pedi, no line and no wait. The fumes are extremely strong here, I recommend a mask. I had a scarf so I was able to protect myself. The polish I chose was old, so acetone had to be added. The pedi itself was ok, the water was hot which I like. The tech cleaned the toe nail area ok, except did not clean under the nail. They're lucky they're getting one star. Do not go here! It's gross, the fumes are almost unbearable with no ventilation! They tell you it's a few minute wait, when in fact people were for for hours sitting in chairs with NO service! I went yesterday to get a shellac manicure. When I walked in the place was completely off-putting/gross, but I was desperate as it was the day of an event I had to attend that night. I was there for over an hour and a 15 mins for just a shellac manicure (sitting in the chair!)! They left acetone on my nails for about 30 to 35 minutes, bc I needed my old polish removed. Whenever I would question them to take it off, the woman kept telling me to let it sit for another 10 minutes. But that was because they were such short staffed, they only had two workers and about eight clients or more. Every few minutes she would leave my chair and go to someone else. If that wasn't bad enough, I saw a woman next to me get up from her pedicure, and they let the foot bath SIT for around 30 minutes without cleaning it! Then the woman went over to it and was throwing her garbage in it, then finally threw it out. The place is gross. Dirty stained carpet, nothing is dusted. The fumes are unbearable! You can tell polish is older bc of the liquid sitting at the top. A new young girl came over to my chair. She had no clue what she was doing. She wasn't filing my nails smooth or shaping. Then barley cut my cuticles so I told her to just stop as it was taking so long to even complete one nail. She then squirted cuticle oil all over my hand to "massage", but I didn't realize what it was until I saw the bottle when it was put down, then told her I don't want this done on my other hand. My nails turned out bumpy, but at least there was no polish all over my fingers. For this service I paid $33! I wanted to just leave so I paid it without question. I also left a $5 tip, which was generous considering my service and lack of care. Also, the only other guy working left his client in the middle of her service so he can take an Uber job! He came back, but it was still so disrespectful to his client! There was also a discrepancy over a client and the cost of services. They were going to call the cops, but I left before I saw what happened next. Everyone was yelling. Trash place. Trash service. Wish I took pictures to prove it, but I was in such shock from the experience I didn't think of it. Trust me, save your money and time and go anywhere else! Understaffed, poor time management skills, sloppy workmanship. Don't bother making an appointment, you won't be seen at your scheduled time. I went 4 times and was never seen at the time of my appointment. I waited 30-45 minutes sometimes. Often take breaks while working on one clients nails to work on another's. I am very upset with service and how I am being treated. I arrived at 10:30 am and it is 12:22 pm and I am still here. The man who seats by the door is rude. Once he finished my pedicure he asked me to sit by a chair and then he finished a customer but it took him an hour. I saw two other ladies in the shop but they went to the back and never came out. I asked him what was going on and if the other ladies were going to assist me and he said, "be patient." Excuse me! I couldn't believe my ears. Now I am still waiting. I love the care that Tom the owner puts into my nails... the downside is that there is only him and his wife that's running the entire nail shop..this causes a delay because all she does is pedicures and manicures and some nail painting if Tom is on to the next client...she can do 3D flowers but that's all I've ever seen they have glitters and some rhinestones but I can tell They loathe using them. Tom truly does beautiful nails but if you want bling you may want to go get that part done somewhere else... it's quiet and relaxing and most regular customers don't mind the waiting if they're busy.. appt persons sometimes have to wait too and I've watched clients walk away... but I'm a regular take me at my word if you don't mind possibly waiting and a quiet calming setting Try them out......... read more

The people that work there are not just rude and annoyed by customers, but are borderline hostile. My "spa manicure" was so painful that I had to check twice that I wasn't bleeding and a hand massage or lotion? Yeah, that didn't happen. The staff couldn't be nicer. Big flat-screen TV, 4 pedicure chairs. Took me as a walk-in and apologized that I had to wait 10 minutes. Good waxing; the downside is they don't have a private room so it's strictly face waxing. Really nice pedicure, especially the shaping and polish job - though they didn't do the best job of removing calluses. $33 for eyebrow wax and pedi is a good price in my book, and I'd totally go again. read more

I usually don't care for rating businesses online, but I really don't want anyone else to have to go through such a terrible experience. That being said, I recently moved into the neighborhood and thought I would try a new nail salon. However, this was without a doubt the WRONG place to go. I went in for a simple French manicure & pedicure. During the pedicure, I had to point out mistakes to the nail tech about the mismatched lines, and corners that were left unfinished. Also, he did not apply any topcoat. When he did my manicure, again I had to point out areas that were mismatched, misshapen and edges that were not clean with the French. It took WAY too long, but finally he finished 2 hours later. He sent me under their fan for my hands to dry, but something was wrong with their fan because after sitting under it for 5 minutes, the French manicure was completely RUINED. The white tips bled over into the clear part of the nail on almost every single nail. I was very annoyed by this already taking too long, and now the manicure was ruined. When I showed him what the fan did, he saw how messed up all my nails were, so he took all the polish off to start over again. (Nice, but annoying to have to sit through this all over again). I asked him if this 2nd time around, should i just let them air dry instead of sitting under that fan? He advised me to let them air dry for a couple minutes, then he said to go sit AGAIN under the fan. I was worried that they would get ruined again and asked if he was SURE that it would be ok. He said, yes, and I figured he knows what he's doing... WRONG. My instinct was right. After going under that fan a 2nd time, the same exact thing happened. At this point, I was extremely annoyed by all the time wasted only for the manicure to be completely ruined again. After over 2 & 1/2 hours, I asked the manager or owner (whoever the woman working the counter) for my money back for the manicure. She expected me to sit through a THIRD time?! This was just absurd. She became indignant, raising her voice to me, refusing to compensate for the wasted time, LOW quality work, & messed up nails, and began arguing with me (over $12 by the way). After arguing, she finally said she would give just $5 for the polish. What an insult and what a way to quickly lose a client! Her attitude was totally unprofessional and abrasive. In the end, I left paying for a poorly done pedicure, and a manicure that was ruined by their own faulty equipment. As a result, I will be making a visit to my old nail salon to have it done right. Obviously, I would NOT advise anyone to go to this nail salon, unless you want to take the chance of low quality workmanship, wasting your time, and being treated disrespectfully, and ultimately, being cheated. Lyin' Joe. So, I've learned my lesson. Only let Rudy do my nails! Allowed a new tech -J oe- to do my nails. The guy LIED about not being able to find the color I asked for. After the first coat I told him that it looked like the wrong color. He said nothing. Language barrier, perhaps? I doubt it. I wondered if it would darken and waited to see. Later, I saw that the color I picked was sitting right next to him. But when I pointed out the color being off, he told me he didn't have the number I asked for! When he finished my nails (horrible job, nails lifting, color smeared under the newly applied acrylics -arrrgghh!) he tried to hide the color by setting it on the far shelf, behind another tech, away from the other numbered colors. I pointed it out to him. He said 'oh'. He was visibly unnerved. I felt sorry for him for lying about such a thing. Why didn't he just correct it after the first coat - it was shellac? I don't know and no time to analyze it. For crying out loud!!! Pressed for another appointment, I paid and left. Once I speak to the owner about this I will repost. This place is under new management from what I've been told so I thought that I'd stop in for a pedi/mani after buying my groceries at Hollywood market. I was able to get in on a slow non busy day. My first impression of The place is that it looked nice and cleaned but besides all of that, I was really disappointed with my service. I had the older women doing my service; my service was done before 30 mins. How is that possible? I was unable to enjoy it and to top it off she left me on 2 different occasions to do eyebrows without saying anything to me, she just walked off mumbling. I was not told anything and had to wait for her. After waiting for a couple of minutes 10-15 minutes I complained and so a mid older gentlemen jumped in to finish the service yelling and hollering at me telling me that I was rude and inpatient. (He did a horrible job by the way).They went from speaking English to their language right after the altercation. This is unprofessional. I knew that they were talking about me; making me feel uncomfortable, uneasy and upset. I will not be a returning customer. I hope that no one have to go through the same thing I did. read more
