While the noodles were not crispy, the dish was loaded with chicken, shrimp, bok choy, mushroom & other vegetables that soaked up the delicious savoury sauce. We added a cream corn soup to round out. I've also had the Szechuan Chicken before and have to admit it's another hit fast food dish. This restaurant has a mash of different menu items including pho, sushi & Thai curry as well. The sushi rolls were passable. It doesn't have to be perfectly authentic to be a good option at the mall. While we've never tried the server experience, the metal takeout tables here work perfectly fine for a quick meal. For our latest meal, we had the Ginger Beef with rice which is another pleasant Chinese takeout dish popularized locally. It came hot out of the kitchen. The deep fry technique here preserved the tenderness of the beef much better than other places where I've tried this dish. It went well with the crispy batter drenched in sweet spicy soy sauce. Skip it or it hit? If you're looking for Asian food at the mall, an occasional visit here is not bad.

While the interior remains very nice for a family dinner or dinner date with friends, the service would have been better. It felt like our server kept waiting for us to finish our meal and then leave. We took out takeaway containers but my friend and I wanted to stay and yap for a little bit because we hadn't seen each other in a long time and the restaurant was rather empty but the kitchen staff came out and quickly packed our meals at the table. Speaking of, when we ordered our mango salad, it looked haphazardly put together, and the mango (ripe and unripe) were cut in very large chunks... not very bistro like at all... At the end when we asked for our bill, I went to pay and our server went "what? No tip??" And he stood there and watched me pay. Tip is customary, not mandatory. Moreover he wasn't supposed to "watch me pay." I felt like I was coerced. Never coming back here, would not recommend this place.

This time around we got 2 boxes of chicken (24) and noodles for total of $32. Service is ok! And there's food court if you want to eat there. Otherwise mainly takeout spot. Also get the red sauce! It's so good with the chicken. They also gave me hot sauce packets and soy sauce.

China Wok Super Chinese Food provides the best-breaded chicken wings in the Greater Toronto Area…read more The scrumptiously marinated wings are coated with a seasoned batter (with unique, refreshing seasoning blends, such as rosemary) and fried to an absolute crispy golden brown. Once you start those wings, you can't stop. In fact, these wings are so good that I ordered 200 of them for my party last winter, and I still don't get tired of those damn wings! Also - they are great if you keep them in the fridge for a day & reheat them too. Although their fried rice and vegetables are not as out-of-this-world as their wings, they all still pack great wok hei while tasting surprisingly "healthy" (because they are not as heavily seasoned as other Chinese food places). I think the chef wanted to ensure that the other dishes did not steal the show of their wings. Overall, I strongly recommend China Wok Superb Chinese food, regardless of whether you want to grab a combo meal with wings, rice and vegetables or just ten wings for a meal. They are all great options with a decent price.

Super tasty, though I did feel extra thirsty... probably a sign of some heavy sodium, but still delicious! The place is no frills geared towards takeout only. The great thing is she packed it tightly even though it was a tall tower of takeout boxes falling over as I drove nothing fell out. Food was packed to the brim. She had all the utensils and even added a generous helping of delicious chilli oil on the side without asking.

We were watching on YouTube and saw that the bloggers were reviewing the location in Richmond Hill. We assumed that the Vaughan location was the same one. So, that was our fault. But, we decided to stay and didn't feel like traveling all the way to the other one. We were immediately seated after we arrived. The place is pretty big, with a very elegant interior. Tables seating up to 4 people line the leftmost wall, which has framed paintings adorning it. Circular tables for groups of 8 sit in the center of the restaurant and on all of the tables are crisp white tablecloths with beautifully folded green cloth napkins. The specials are also written on a framed green chalkboard on the back wall and the place is illuminated by built-in spotlights. We ordered the following: Braised Tofu with vegetables - Daughter liked it a lot. She said that it tasted like Chinese takeout but in a good way. Basa Fish Chili Bean Sauce- This was ok, but I thought the sauce was the same as the other orders. Spicy eggplant with shrimp- Hubs said that this tasted similar to the braised tofu with vegetables and it was ok. Overall, we felt that these 3 entrees and sauce all tasted the same. It was ok but no big deal. This place is located next to a mall, so there was plenty of parking. Service was quick and friendly. We told our server about daughter's peanut allergy and it was noted on our bill. There were quite a few other tables occupied. I'm glad we got a chance to try this place. The restaurant was packed and it was a bit hard to get a hold of a server at times, but their service was pretty good overall given the speed, ability to customize some menu items, and attentiveness. We ordered the Scallops with Vegetables, and we got to choose what type of vegetables we wanted (usually we don't get to choose in other Chinese restaurants). We opted for choy sum, but we also could've chosen from a selection of mixed vegetables, bok choy, snow peas, mushrooms, etc. Surprisingly, the scallops came as jumbo scallops. I was expecting smaller-sized scallops like in other Chinese restaurants. The dish was tasty and I could taste the ginger. Seafood and Garlic Fried Rice was alright - no different than those in other similar restaurants. The rice was quite dry and there were small pieces of shrimps and scallops in the mix.
