I hired Badger Curbing to install landscape curbing in my front yard June 2022. In September, I…read morehired them to also install curbing in my backyard. We were gone on vacation during the second pour so we did not see the disaster until we arrived home. Phillip, the owner, had come out to our property to see how bad the curbing looked. He did not notify me of the problems that I discovered on our return. After I got back and saw the condition of the curbing, I immediately contacted Michelle and sent her photos asking, "What happened to my curbing?!!!!!" Phillip and Michelle, the owners - they said that they would remove the curbing and install it again. I asked them what they were going to do different on the next pour that would have a quality result. Michelle guaranteed me that they investigated and found out what they are doing wrong and would correct it on the next pour. I asked to speak to Phillip to be assured they figured out what they did wrong and would correct it. Badger Curbing tore out the first curbing and installed all new curbing in November 2022. Initially, it looked fine, however, when I started working in the garden this spring, I noticed how horrible the curbing looked. The second install is more egregious than the first! The concrete is horribly blotchy and the top layer is flaking off. It look rough and corroded. Again, I notified Phillip and Michelle immediately and sent them. photos. At this point I am asking them to remove it and give me a refund. I have over 1,000 lineal feet of curbing and spent over $10k for it. It looks hideous. Phillip is now pushing back and seems to want a third try at this. Every time it is done, I lose 3 more days of business because we host an Airbnb on our property. Phillip admits it looks horrible and even admits he has no idea why it happened. Today, Phillip sent out a buddy of his who he represented as a concrete expert, who couldn't identify why it is failing because he wasn't here to see how the workers poured the curbing. He just kept repeating that it is part of the curing process. Ironically, if this is normal and part of the curing process, everyone's curbing should look like this, yet, Phillip clam is there isn't another customer out there whose curbing looks like mine. I've contacted 2 other curbing companies who looked at our curbing from Badger and they said the job is "egregious" and that the curbing is very poor quality.

Additionally, Brendan had many innovative ideas regarding our landscaping that allowed us to come up with a solution we are very happy with on a challenging property. I love the rebuilt retention wall - it looks awesome! And they placed the lights back in perfectly. I love working the yard in that area again. We had mole for the last 2 years and I am not a person that can poison them because I worry about another animal eating the poisoned mole. Anyway, they were patient with me in my emails to them stressing this over and over again. After 2 years of moles being in our yard, there were a lot of unevenness in the lawn and we did not feel comfortable with the grand kids playing out there. They came out and helped with the moles, compressed the yard and put a layer of top soil then reseeded where needed. Overall - they were awesome.

My wife found Eco landscaping online so we contacted Augustine to request some quotes to fix some of the shoddy work done by previous companies. Augustine blew me away with his genuine concern about doing things the right way (it felt like he cared about our problems like it was his own house) and the quotes he gave us were very reasonable so we decided to have him take on the jobs. That decision was best one we have made so far since buying our new house 4 years ago! We have hired him for several projects since that first time and will continue to use him exclusively for all of our landscape maintenance needs moving forward! I had started to loathe landscape companies for price gouging, doing crappy work, and then "ghosting" you when you ask that they fix THEIR mistakes! Eco Landscape has redeemed the profession in my mind, and I can't thank him enough for turning our nightmare into a story with a happy ending!

Their…read moregeneral manager Boston inspected and said it may potentially be a leak and pointed out several other new build issues and I signed a roof replacement for a roof that was only 6 years old for a deposit of $8502. I changed my mind shortly after to postpone a replacement because the most problematic area is likely due to condensation from the heat emitting from the blue tube (electronics room) and advised Boston of the cancellation. As I referred several homes that led to a sale for them, they communicated a full refund will be done. Their operations manager Francisco was also very helpful and said he would be able to cancel the material order for minimal cost that they would honor. I waited 6+ weeks for the refund check, first it got lost in mailing according to them, then their repairman quit and was unable to drop it off, then their Sales Director Ben phoned saying he would take over the processing of the check and someone would drop the check off. The following week essentially everyone at the company ghosted me after I offered to pick up the check and Ben replied by email they would only refund $6084 even though he just said someone was suppose to drop off the refund a week ago. This was extremely disappointing as I advocated and referred many people to them as Boston and Francisco were really honest and easy to work with. However they stringed me along, mislead me on two separate refund checks that were on the way just to be backpedalled 6 weeks later in a unprofessional way. I am now awaiting their official reply on how they will continue with the refund and likely will take this to small claims court as at this point I have no trust/faith in anything they communicate. My complaint is on how they managed this situation and utter lack of respect of their customers time and dishonest communication. Luckily I'm in tech and not in a rush to get back $8502 right away but if this would impact you, don't expect prompt follow ups for refunds. This review is not for the hard working contractors who actually know their trade and do high quality work here, I was looking forward to a future roof replacement done with best practices but I don't do business with dishonest people/management. I'd recommend proceeding with caution.

I'm very disappointed that he won't even return calls. My yard is super tiny. They completed the clean up in one and a half hours and charged me $250. To me it's a high amount.
