My experience with Manuel Landscaping was absolutely wonderful!…read moreFrom our very first interaction, Manuel was very responsive, professional and knowledgeable. I needed some MAJOR yard work done in my home in Beacon and I'm so thankful that I came across Manuel. I honestly don't think anyone else would be able to do what Manuel and his team did. He completely transformed my backyard from a small, overgrown, debris-filled, complicated and unusable space to a spacious, leveled, beautiful and modern oasis. He truly exceeded all of my expectations and made the property ten times bigger! The work Manuel did on my property included building multiple retainer walls, tree removal, concrete work, fixing drainage issues, removing debris, leveling, building a stone patio and steps, planning trees and grasses, and more! HE CAN DO IT ALL!!! And always on time, on budget, and exceeding expectations! I am so glad that I found Manuel and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for THE BEST landscaping and construction team!

Hello, I had a 40' x 14' foot concrete patio replaced with…read moreCambridge pavers. The patio is along the back of my house and there are 2 doors going into the house from the patio, one slider and one hinged door. The new patio looks good enough but the whole thing is too high relative to the house, the top of the pavers are the same height as the top of the door saddle. I can not install a storm door because it will hit a floor mat. I had asked Manuel to make the patio about an inch below the door saddles during the estimate and again before the pavers were installed, he agreed but didn't do it. It's discouraging, the patio looks nice but it's the wrong height. Now I face the dilemma of living with it or having another contractor rip it out and install it at the right height.

It started out very well, however they started coming to cut the lawn even when we would tell them…read morethat it did not need cutting. This happened twice. When I spoke to the owner, he said he would not charge me, well he shouldn't since I asked that it not be cut several days in advance. When I spoke to him he told me that it is confusing because we change out mind every week. First, that is not true we did it twice, and second, we are paying for the service and can tell them when we do not want it cut. He told me if we do not want it cut, we should tell them the day that they are coming. Now how do I always know when they are coming when there is rain, etc? In addition, when his brother was doing the mowing, he would actually skip us when our lawn looked like this. Once he skipped us and the owner charged us anyway. I expect my landscaper to know when not to cut, but I always text so they can plan their schedule and crew. When I told him we were discontinuing his service his text back was that he did not need my business anyway. The below pictures are my lawn before they came to cut it. We had asked them not to in a text on Saturday, and they cut in anyway.

This is more of a character testimonial, than your standard review…read more Recently moved back to the Hudson Valley after a bunch of time in the nonprofit sector in PA, Marco and I had been friends and had worked together previously. He had been encouraging me to move back up as I have had a few losses and it has been a difficult time. Marco hooked me up with me some work immediately so I could stand on my feet and volunteered his time to help clear a space on a farm for me to live. It is a small production farm with a supportive and wonderful community that is definitely under-resourced. He routinely finds useful stuff to repurpose which he passes on and is always open to a question or conversation trying to solve a problem. Most recently, things slowed back down again and I ran out of firewood, he gave me a cord and a half from his personal stock to last me the rest of the winter and told me not to worry about it and that I could just come split some more in the spring time to restock his shed. I don't really have words for how thankful I am and how it would've been easy for him to say as a friend hearing my woes, wow that sucks, and then keep it moving, but that's not the type of person he is. Marco and I have had a decade long relationship that spans employer, mentor, friend, volunteer, accountability partner, general life coach. Because of his encouragement and guidance, I have launched a small business and have been building capacity here at the farm. Anyone looking to hire Marco should know they are bringing an A1 person, experienced problem solver, and a damn good operator into their endeavor. Be well. Travel light.

Marco pulled it off in the planned time and his thoughtful touches that I didn't even think about were very appropriated. Very transparent pricing, a rarely seen thing these days. IM LANDSCAPING & MASONRY TO THE RESCUE!!…read more Since the pandemic, our patio was in desperate need of a refresh; take out the weeds, clean the bluestones and put poly sand in the joints. After getting several estimates, we called IM Landscaping and spoke to Freddy. He was able to come to our home and give us an estimate to do the work, which was fair and reasonable. Freddy and his team arrived early the next morning. I loved the fact that they were very thorough in removing the weeds, digging deep to get the root balls out. After that, they power washed the entire patio, even behind the condenser. Everything was so fresh and clean!! Due to the rain forecast, Freddy thought it best to make sure the stones were thoroughly dry before he installed the sand. He returned the following week and completed the work. Several neighbors immediately commented on how nice our patio looks. We're sorry that we didn't take before and after pictures to post. Do not hesitate to give IM Landscaping & Masonry a call. They are knowledgeable, professional, and their prices are reasonable. Thank you Freddy!!

Almost immediately, we realized every shovel full was contaminated with garbage: metal shards, tiny bits of asphalt shingles, glass fragments, and TONS of finely shredded plastic included food wrappers, grocery bags and more. I don't want my kids touching this stuff, much less eating food grown in it. Terrible product and possibly worse customer service. Avoid at all costs.
