This is more of a character testimonial, than your standard review…read more Recently moved back to the Hudson Valley after a bunch of time in the nonprofit sector in PA, Marco and I had been friends and had worked together previously. He had been encouraging me to move back up as I have had a few losses and it has been a difficult time. Marco hooked me up with me some work immediately so I could stand on my feet and volunteered his time to help clear a space on a farm for me to live. It is a small production farm with a supportive and wonderful community that is definitely under-resourced. He routinely finds useful stuff to repurpose which he passes on and is always open to a question or conversation trying to solve a problem. Most recently, things slowed back down again and I ran out of firewood, he gave me a cord and a half from his personal stock to last me the rest of the winter and told me not to worry about it and that I could just come split some more in the spring time to restock his shed. I don't really have words for how thankful I am and how it would've been easy for him to say as a friend hearing my woes, wow that sucks, and then keep it moving, but that's not the type of person he is. Marco and I have had a decade long relationship that spans employer, mentor, friend, volunteer, accountability partner, general life coach. Because of his encouragement and guidance, I have launched a small business and have been building capacity here at the farm. Anyone looking to hire Marco should know they are bringing an A1 person, experienced problem solver, and a damn good operator into their endeavor. Be well. Travel light.

Marco pulled it off in the planned time and his thoughtful touches that I didn't even think about were very appropriated. Very transparent pricing, a rarely seen thing these days. I would recommend him for any landscaping and excavation job you need. A great person to work with.

My experience with Manuel Landscaping was absolutely wonderful!…read moreFrom our very first interaction, Manuel was very responsive, professional and knowledgeable. I needed some MAJOR yard work done in my home in Beacon and I'm so thankful that I came across Manuel. I honestly don't think anyone else would be able to do what Manuel and his team did. He completely transformed my backyard from a small, overgrown, debris-filled, complicated and unusable space to a spacious, leveled, beautiful and modern oasis. He truly exceeded all of my expectations and made the property ten times bigger! The work Manuel did on my property included building multiple retainer walls, tree removal, concrete work, fixing drainage issues, removing debris, leveling, building a stone patio and steps, planning trees and grasses, and more! HE CAN DO IT ALL!!! And always on time, on budget, and exceeding expectations! I am so glad that I found Manuel and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for THE BEST landscaping and construction team!

The patio is along the back of my house and there are 2 doors going into the house from the patio, one slider and one hinged door. The new patio looks good enough but the whole thing is too high relative to the house, the top of the pavers are the same height as the top of the door saddle. I can not install a storm door because it will hit a floor mat. I had asked Manuel to make the patio about an inch below the door saddles during the estimate and again before the pavers were installed, he agreed but didn't do it. It's discouraging, the patio looks nice but it's the wrong height. Now I face the dilemma of living with it or having another contractor rip it out and install it at the right height.

One of the companies gave us 3 names of smaller companies ine of them being Gabe. He was the first one we called. He was so respectful and and knowledgeable but did not push himself. We told him we are meeting2 more people and than we will make our decision. As soon as we met the other 2 one was more expensive and was about the same but he was a little less. I we went with our gut feeling the kind not pushy landsccaper. He finished the project one day sooner than it was promised. You never saw a mess all of his workers were quiet and peaceful. Just a clean group of guys. Since May we have used Gabe to cut trees and do so much in our property. We are so greatful to have met him and have him as part of our happy pretty Home. We recommend him with our highest regards. Be aware once he works for you you will just want to do more and more. Just makes everything beautiful. Lili D
