Unfortunately, the quality of this job was subpar, and the gravel work washed out completely within weeks. I reached out to him multiple times for a resolution via text and voicemail with no response. When I finally heard back, he refused to take any responsibility and instead blamed me for the results--citing the weather (rain?!) and my budget (which I never actually gave him). In reality, I accepted both his estimate and his plan without question, paid in full immediately, and even offered to pay more if he would simply correct his work after it first began to fail - just two days after it was completed. This, despite the fact that I was promised the work would last several years. Eric does not stand behind his work, he makes false promises and ghosts clients when there's a problem, and then resorts to excuses and blaming the customer rather than offering solutions. Other contractors who reviewed the job confirmed that the grading and compaction were not done properly. A properly compacted and graded gravel driveway would not erode after a single rainstorm. One review mentions he's nice, and he is, when things go well. I'm nice too, but I don't tolerate being taken advantage of. If you decide to roll the dice on your project, don't be surprised when the 'nice guy' disappears. UPDATE: Eric responded by attempting to discredit me personally and deflect from the actual issue. So let me be clear: I paid in full the day after the work was completed (job finished 6/4, Zelle sent 6/5). I accepted both his estimate and his plan without negotiating and was told the work would last for years. When it failed after a single rainstorm, I offered to pay more if he would fix it. I never asked for extra work, I said I'd wait and see how it held up, and reached out again when it clearly didn't. He ignored multiple texts and voicemails for weeks and only responded after I posted this review. And yes, I have everything documented as well. As for his attempt to attack my review history: I welcome anyone to read my other reviews. They are detailed, honest, and thoughtful reflections of my experiences - positive or negative. This one is no different. Instead of standing behind his work, Eric deflects and attacks the customer. That says more than any review ever could.

All foliage in the front & side of the house was removed, etc. I did state that all looked fine, but later I found out this was only done via 'weed wacker'. The Trump vineplant was only wacked down but NOT removed. Of course after the 'weed wacking' all looked great & when I questioned weed wacking I was told the company would come back to 'weed wack' (at no charge - wonder if this would be for a number of times each year) when growth reappeared but the 'Trump vineplant was NEVER physically removed (as I originally requested/ordered) & of course with spring/summer this invasive vineplant is growing back like "Gang Busters". I did pay them in good faith & feel that a good portion of the $378.00 should be returned to me. I am 79 years of age with arthritis & cannot do this myself (that is why I hired a local company). Now I will have to pay someone to do the work Dyers did NOT do. They may be great for cutting your lawn & weed wacking, but that is all. I have notified them of this unacceptable workmanship - nothing to date accept a brief message via Facebook.

Turns out it was not only cheaper with Lawn Dog but they could do the bug repellent too. I gave them a shot. In two weeks my lawn went from a pathetic 1.5 to a 10. Everyone thinks I ripped up my lawn and laid down new sod. I didn't I just signed up with real professionals. We finally have that lush deep green lawn that we have been wanting for years and so far this Spring we have had a few dandelions pop up but nothing like the droves of dandelions in past years. You can actually see the difference in our lawn next to our neighbor's lawn as there is a distinct line where ours was treated and theirs wasn't. These guys keep their appointments, they are very quick to do the job and do the job well. I'm curious to see too if it helps keep some of the bugs away as we usually get very large bumble bees as well as yellow jackets on our property and so far so good.
