AVOID unless you're okay with poor workmanship and zero accountability…read more I hired Eric for gravel driveway repairs after previously having a good experience with his snow plowing. Unfortunately, the quality of this job was subpar, and the gravel work washed out completely within weeks. I reached out to him multiple times for a resolution via text and voicemail with no response. When I finally heard back, he refused to take any responsibility and instead blamed me for the results--citing the weather (rain?!) and my budget (which I never actually gave him). In reality, I accepted both his estimate and his plan without question, paid in full immediately, and even offered to pay more if he would simply correct his work after it first began to fail - just two days after it was completed. This, despite the fact that I was promised the work would last several years. Eric does not stand behind his work, he makes false promises and ghosts clients when there's a problem, and then resorts to excuses and blaming the customer rather than offering solutions. Other contractors who reviewed the job confirmed that the grading and compaction were not done properly. A properly compacted and graded gravel driveway would not erode after a single rainstorm. One review mentions he's nice, and he is, when things go well. I'm nice too, but I don't tolerate being taken advantage of. If you decide to roll the dice on your project, don't be surprised when the 'nice guy' disappears. UPDATE: Eric responded by attempting to discredit me personally and deflect from the actual issue. So let me be clear: I paid in full the day after the work was completed (job finished 6/4, Zelle sent 6/5). I accepted both his estimate and his plan without negotiating and was told the work would last for years. When it failed after a single rainstorm, I offered to pay more if he would fix it. I never asked for extra work, I said I'd wait and see how it held up, and reached out again when it clearly didn't. He ignored multiple texts and voicemails for weeks and only responded after I posted this review. And yes, I have everything documented as well. As for his attempt to attack my review history: I welcome anyone to read my other reviews. They are detailed, honest, and thoughtful reflections of my experiences - positive or negative. This one is no different. Instead of standing behind his work, Eric deflects and attacks the customer. That says more than any review ever could.

if I could leave a 0 star review I would. I would strongly advise against using this landscaper…read more Our experience was extremely disappointing & continues to be an ongoing nightmare, leaving us with repairs, safety concerns, & additional expenses. The project was never completed as agreed. We were told it would take 3 weeks to complete retaining walls, a patio, a back walkway and a "free fall clean up" The work that was done was done incorrectly and will need to be repaired or completely redone. Even after being told multiple times that the work was being done improperly or not the way we discussed, the owner showed little concern and continued to proceed as he saw fit. Now I'm left with an extremely steep back walkway that freezes over in the winter. The grading of the lawn was done incorrectly, which has already caused property damage & drainage issues. One of the most concerning issues is that construction debris was buried throughout our yard instead of being properly removed. This includes materials like rebar, some of which was left protruding from the ground, creating a serious safety hazard. Cuts from Cambridge pavers, along with bushes & other debris, were also buried, including areas near or directly on top of our septic system and leach fields. In addition, the professionalism on site was unacceptable. The owner and workers were observed urinating in our yard in plain view of neighboring properties, multiple times while they were here despite being told they could use the bathroom inside the home. There were also attempts to cut corners while still charging for materials that were never used, such as rebar that was supposed to be installed for a concrete footing. These charges were only removed after repeated questioning, which raises serious concerns about honesty and billing practices. They also attempted to leave without filling up the retaining walls with crushed stone, when we removed the caps & questioned the owner, he made excuses & did eventually go back and refill them. His employees also created property damage to our neighbors lawn because they were parking their vehicles on it, they broke the neighbors fence in multiple places & failed to repair it until the owners father showed up on site attempting to rectify the situation. The owners father actually was the one who fixed the neighbors fence pieces. Mean while the crew broke our garden hose Spicket and nozzle never reported it to us we discovered it on our own. Which the owners father also was kind enough to fix, they had little to no respect for our hoses they were using either, they just left them out strung out on our lawn, covered in mud & concrete. (They aren't the cheapest hoses either.) While operating a machine the owner actually struck our house creating property damage to our gutter, didn't even notify us of it just threw a fit and got in his truck & left for the day. Once again the father of the owner had that repaired for us. To make matters worse, parts of the job that were agreed upon, such as removing certain bushes, were never completed. On one occasion, no work was performed despite suitable weather, & the owner briefly arrived only to remove and sell dirt from our property to another landscaping business. As a result, we are now left needing additional fill to correct the grading, especially as areas of the lawn have begun to sink, likely due to buried debris. The some of the debis has started to resurface in our lawn now after the winter. Additional concerns included debris being thrown onto neighboring properties, which I personally had to retrieve shortly after giving birth, while the crew continued working. There were also issues with personal property being discarded, including bags of sorted returnable cans & bottles that had been set aside for our sons bank account. Overall, this was an unprofessional, careless, and deeply frustrating experience that resulted in unsafe conditions & significant additional costs. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you do choose to hire them, I strongly suggest closely monitoring all work.
