I resell refurbished and restored vintage industrial furniture, stands and objects of interest online and constantly need services like this to get pieces finished. Getting them back after a year in various unfinished states doesn't help. After numerous phone calls over a year, the owner could have just told me that they couldn't finish the job or it wasn't worth his time to take on the project. I was put off week after week with promises of getting it done. After a while, he was just trying to avoid the situation and kept putting me off. Staffing is an obvious problem during the pandemic, but it never seemed to be a concern that eventually my order would be finished. So if anyone asks in the future, I wouldn't recommend Alpha. I dislike leaving negative reviews, but I just get the feeling they'll only take on big money jobs and the "little guy" projects don't matter. I thought I had discovered a great local business that I could patronize. I never made any demands or gave time limits. I just needed the work finished. The search begins...again.

I talked…read moreto the owner a couple of times, but he kept telling me he was busy with work and it would be "next week" or "in a couple of weeks." He asked me for pictures of the job with a tape measure, which I sent so that he could give an estimate, but he never did that. I finally offered to just bring the pieces down so he could take a look at them just to give an estimate but to just set up a time to show them to him I had to call back "next week sometime." He doesn't have weekend hours, and I didn't want to take off from work and show up there if he wasn't expecting me. Either he didn't want the small job but didn't want to say so, or he was so busy that he couldn't take the time to quote it or act interested. I can't comment on his work, but since I never got any sort of confidence from him that this project would move forward I went somewhere else.

Wish I had consulted them before dropping my wheels off. Multiple people from town told me their parts came out bad. Poor craftsmanship on the powder coat job. Bubbles, debris, crators you name it. Asked to speak to the owner he was too busy to come out. Would've tried to work something out along the lines of just sandblast it off and I'll pay for that, couldn't get a word in, would've had to wait even longer for them to clean up their mess. They need to do a better job of controlling their employees quality. Had a friend get the same thing done on his same set of wheels from another local powder coater and his job came out way nicer for $100 cheaper. Don't get powder coat here.

He explained everything in terms easy to understand and even showed me a video of the work when it was completed. He showed me something to watch and assured me it would be safe and can be looked at when I return for touch up work in two years. I had researched the process prior to using Best Blast and compared with Ziebart - hands down - NHOU V3 at Best Blast was the way to go. I never had any of my recent vehicles uncoated the way we used it years ago - was told it was no longer necessary since they have used different means to protect vehicles from rusting - the undercoating was no longer needed - think again - if you plan to hold onto your vehicle - which I do - Best Blast is the thing to do right after you drive out of the showroom or anytime before the rusting begins - The cost was fair and the follow-up check and touch up work is very reasonable and a normal maintenance cost. Brian was timely when he would scheduled my vehicle and it was done and ready when promised. I fully recommend Brian and Best Blast II for your rust protection needs - he will tell you the best method and material for you vehicle. I will be doing another vehicle with him very soon and spreading the word to other family and friends. Great Job!
