They said they service our brand/model and said the visit would cost $149, to be applied to any repair. When the technician diagnosed the unit, he agreed it was the compressor. He gave us an estimate and collected his $149. We thought Appliance King was going to do the repair. But less than 5 minutes after they left, they called and said they do not service our brand/model. So, basically, they stole $149 and our time in bad faith.

For some reason, the representatives never informed us that the model we were getting to replace our 20-year-old dishwasher was actually a worse model with a less effective screen and absolutely no smart home connectivity in 2025. For an $1,800 dishwasher, that's incredibly disappointing. Now I've got a new dishwasher that's less intelligent and less useful than my old one, and I'm confused that nobody at Ferguson thought to mention that for only $100 more, we could get a much better solution. I expected better advice from them, so this experience has been very disappointing.

Most of the employees that day were very…read moreunprofessional, not very helpful and shockingly on their phones apparently while working - e.g., there was a guy who appeared to be on his phone 1/2 the time and putting items on the shelf the other 1/2. At the register, one of my items didn't have a scan code on it and the cashier said that I had to go back and find the correct code for it. It seems to me that one of the employees should assist with that. I complained to the manager and she 100% agreed with me. Update: I visited this HD location last week and it was greatly improved. One employee was very helpful and got a larger dolly cart for me to carry bags of heavy garden soil. Also, the cashier was a bit more engaged than I've experienced in the past. Prices have increased as of late March 2026 but I don't suppose that HD's fault.

I showed up at 7:15 AM Saturday morning to find out my reservation had been cancelled - again AFTER CHARGING my credit card. I called the local office and they said, they just don't have the trucks they used to. But to confirm and then cancel is poor customer service at the very least. The fact that they charged my credit card is ridiculous. I will not go to this store again. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not rent trucks from this location.

I have a Eureka canister vacuum cleaner. It's one of the old style that still takes bags. When I…read moreran out of bags I looked at all the likely places to find refills. I went to Walmart, Kmart, Target, Lowe's, Home Depot, and more. Nobody had the right size. I have another newer vacuum cleaner but the Eureka is lighter and does s great job on crevices and furniture. I looked up vacuum cleaner shops. Most weren't close. Then I saw Charlie Vacs. A small shop, not far from home. I called and the person who answered the phone said to bring in the old bag and he would try to match it. I went there with the old bag and I left the shop with new bags. The price was very reasonable. Recently my upright wasn't working right. I took the whole vacuum to Charlie Vacs. The proprietor checked my vacuum cleaner and found that the problem was the belt was broken. He put in a new belt and a few minutes later I had a working upright vacuum cleaner. I paid for the belt but he didn't charge me for checking the vacuum or putting on the new bag. The people working there are very nice and go out ot their way to be helpful. I highly recommend them.

I have a Hoover Windtunnel vacuum cleaner that is about a year old. My friend Eric, who does some…read morework for me, informed me that the switch on my vacuum wasn't working. He removed the switch by taking two small screws out and the switch came right out. He got it running temporarily and finished vacuuming. The switch just moved back and forth without clicking on or off. So I took my vacuum to Charlie Vacs. I came in the front door and a man came out from the back. He said: "How can I help you?" I said:"I think I need a new switch." The man moved the switch back and forth and said:"I can fix it for 23 dollars." I said: "I'll have to ask my wife if she wants to spend that much." He said:"It costs that because I'll have to take the vacuum completely apart from top to bottom. It's mostly labor." I said: " A man that does some work for me took the switch out in one minute. There are just two small screws that hold it in." He said: "Well then, why don't you have him fix it for you?" I said: "Well, can you sell me the switch?" The man went in the back and returned with a small on/off switch. He said: " That'll be $10.70 with tax." I paid in cash, took the switch and left. He said "Thank you, my friend" as I was leaving. I returned home, gave the switch to my friend, Eric and he had the vacuum running perfectly in five minutes.
