Insult to injury upon arriving @ Wild to take the car back Ken spoke to me and told me that he felt horrible for us buying a lemon and prides his shop in not taking advantage of women (the exact thing that was being done to my unknowing wife). He then proceeds to offer me another "deal" to "help us out". This deal was for us to pay him $4000 + give him our car in exchange for a rusted out old car in his back lot! I politely declined and said we just needed to take our car home and make a decision on the cost.... It doesn't end there! Ken runs out after us and in one last attempt to take advantage of us says "listen this car isn't worth a penny more than $1000 BUT I feel horrible for you guys being taken advantage of so I can take this car of your hands for $1200." .... you can't make this stuff up! We left Wild to another mechanic (personal friend of mine). Car drove 1 hr perfectly fine. My suspicious were confirmed the car was perfectly fine and just needed new pads on the breaks.
