Him and I had a good working relationship. I can't say the same about my new tech as he doesn't speak english and the new manager won't facilitate a way for us to communicate. It was just discovered that my conditioner was at zero, so chlorine wasn't sticking around. Compound that issue with some other ones, such as rain, and it's a recipe for a perfect storm. I'm generally pretty laid back, but I expect good communication. What happened next is what let me know I was ready to move on. Things go wrong. It happens and I'm usually very understanding, but the new owner/manager refused to give me a phone call so we can remedy the situation. She then sends me a wall of text. I ask her to call me again and she sends me an even bigger wall of text. I felt like I was in a fight with my highschool girlfriend. The kicker is that she is blatantly incompetent. It wouldn't even be that bad, but she is also incredibly unreasonable. I know she has a lot going on in life right now as other reviewers have mentioned, but not taking ownership of a problem, trying to gatekeep communication, and treating customers this way is obviously not the right way to run a business.

It actually was the same person who had installed the heater for me. He asked me what was happening or not happening, and I told him. He diagnosed the issue after about 15 minutes of looking into it. He told me what was wrong and gave me an estimate. It was a great experience. The service man, Zack, was personable and very helpful. I was very pleased with the service I got from them when I purchased the system a few years back, and I was just as pleased today. I recommend them highly. I will happily use them again for pool servicing needs.

That became very clear to me this summer. After picking up on a few too many red flags with our previous pool guy, I went looking for someone who actually knew what they were doing. That's how I found Michael. He called me back right away and came out quickly. Within minutes of inspecting the equipment, he found multiple issues--including one major electrical safety problem that could have seriously harmed my kids. No one had ever caught it before. Since then, I've had several other licensed specialists out (leak detection, electricians, etc.), and every single one of them confirmed what Michael found. He answered my call and proceeded to try and troubleshoot for about an hour (without even working for us). Such a kind gesture. Following this, Eddie came by to check out our pool and see if he could figure out what was wrong. Turns out our current Pool Guy was treating our pool as chlorine and it had a saltwater system (something I regularly questioned our normal Pool Guy but was routinely dismissed) Eddie and his guys came by a couple of times and completely reset our system. Saving us from having to buy a brand new pool heaters, which we had just bought two years ago. Our pool is now functioning perfectly and looks amazing, and is actually saltwater again. The rate he gave us to do the job was reasonable, and very competitive. After Juan arrived to do the job, he told me that our Pentair WhisperFlo pool pump was far superior than the XtremepowerUS pool pump I had purchased to replace it. He told me that all I really needed to do was to have the pool pump motor replaced. Frankly, I had forgotten that replacing the the pool pump motor was an option. We had done that many years before with a refurbished pool pump motor so that we could continue using our Pentair WhisperFlo pool pump. Juan's honesty about it impressed me, especially since he could have simply done the job as I hired him to do, and he would have made more money. So not only did he save me a good amount of money, but he left me and my wife better off than we otherwise would have been had he installed the inferior XtremepowerUS pool pump.
