The view overlooking the water and city is amazing! Yesterday, I went to Perch 360 On the Roof for the first time and immediately felt welcome and relaxed. The rooftop area hosts a large bar, tables for eating, and a pool for the hotel guests. We went just for some drinks yesterday, but will definitely go back to try the food. The drinks were made well and delicious. They have a few garden planters on the roof and grow all the herbs fresh. We witnessed the bar tender making our basil lychee martini, pick a fresh piece of basil for the drink. We really enjoyed the rum runners, cucumber martini, and espresso martini. Not a huge fan of the lychee martini. The bar tenders were welcoming and attentive. I will definitely be returning to this hidden gem! read more

We decided to try this place because the rooftop looked cool. Unfortunately we had a bad experience. We asked for a lunch with no black pepper on it. It took more than an hour and 15 mins with three tables getting their food that arrived well after we we did. We decided to leave bc we couldn't wait longer. At that point the chef confronted us and literally waved the dish in my wife's face and demanded to know why we were leaving. Bartender will make what you want but their cocktail selection is pretty darn good. We had the Gouda fondue. This was so good! Came for A post Valentine's Day date night. Pretty busy during high season, but ordered our meal within minutes: a delicious fish and chips they are known for. Delicious dry cabbage to accompany the flaky breaded steaming fish -2 generous pieces. Shock top beer was a seasonal surprise and went perfectly. Great meal and service! I went with 4 friends, we all loved our dishes. The house cab was nice - great price & large pours. The meals were all cooked as requested. For example, the vegetable of the day was green beans and I detest limp green beans, I requested lightly cooked beans and that is the way they were served. Our server, Marla, was very attentive and friendly. She kept our glasses full, checked on us regularly, but not too much, and got everyone's bill right. I enjoyed every second at this trendy (but not tacky or trying too hard) poolside bar. The views of downtown Punta Gorda are gorgeous, the bartenders are friendly, and the open seating concept encouraged mingling. I had the mussels and several cocktails, all of which were delicious and priced just right. First of all can't beat the views from this roof top place. We sat at the bar but there are plenty of tables with umbrellas. Service was excellent. My husband had the waygu beef sliders. They were very good but they don't come with anything. Just 2 sliders. I had the chicken Cesar salad. Without asking they put the dressing on the side so it's not swimming in it. I don't think I've had a salad with this much chicken. I think there was more chicken than romaine. Not a big menu but Definitely worth a try. read more

Very disappointing as a restaurant it is sorely lacking. Staying at the hotel we expected a nice breakfast or brunch on a Sunday morning. We got neither as we ordered some soft drinks and checked out the menu. Nothing caught me or my husband's eye and more importantly our stomachs. So after reviewing a very limited non- interesting menu we left. Especially since there is many choices in town just a few 100 feet away. No breakfast choices and under Entrees you can order 6 wings for $8. From my attached photos you can see no one eating. Very odd as the hotel is sold out and it is the height of season. Missed opportunity by these new owners. The first weekend I didn't have any one eating I would see what the busy restaurants in town are doing. Unless they don't want to serve food to their guests?! A traditional weekend brunch with mimosas and Bloody Mary's would really been a welcomed sight. Maybe next visit they will get their act together. read more

While I really wanted to stop at this place for food, due to the short stay in town we only stopped at night for drinks. The cocktails we ordered were so delicious, especially the grapefruit one. The bartender Lucas was so kind and amazing. He definitely has experience with customer service. The lunch menu looks delicious and since the waitstaff is incredible I'm sure the food is too. The service at the rooftop restaurant bar was really bad. We sat at a bar table right next to the bar and waited and no one came over. We were there for dinner and drinks. We approached the bar and tried to order a drink, only to be refused service and told that the waitstaff was responsible for taking our order. We then waited 20 more minutes for waitstaff to acknowledge us. It was not busy at all so there was no reason for the bar staff to not serve us until the wait staff came over. To make matters worse, when we finally raised our concerns to the bartenders, we were flat out refused service. There was no general manager on site to address the issue. Eventually, we sought out a lower level manager downstairs to voice our grievances. While the manager did apologize and provided us with a complimentary drink, the overall experience left a sour taste in our mouths. It's disappointing when basic customer service expectations are not met. read more

We've been here 4 or 5 times, most times just my husband and I and one visit with family from out of town. Love the herb garden and the view is nice, however the service is at best lacking. Rude, inattentive, rushed, cold and not caring. Unfortunately, that has been the case on every visit. Once, while sitting at the bar we had a pleasant bartender - however she too appeared more interested in chatting with who seemed like a personal friend. The small amount of tables still managed to be understaffed or, the two waitresses working were incapable of properly attending the "rush". From not having the tables cleaned/bussed in a timely manner to bringing incorrect drinks (3 waters and 1 iced tea became 3 teas and 1 water). Perhaps she was dyslexic? Our food order was taken and we wondered what exactly we were going to receive as it seemed she was perplexed by our 4 entrees, who ordered what and did we all order. Food came, we ate everything and it was quite good. Atmosphere - 3 stars. It's a rooftop bar. Period. With a pool. Period. It's really not intended to be a full service restaurant. The music was a bit on the loud side (because the music is intended for the POOL; not the restaurant) and many of the tables did not have umbrellas so some of the patrons were sweating in the sun. Also, there are mostly tables that are high tops so for elderly folks, it can be a challenge to get in/out of those high seats. The view is good, as long as you are facing the water and not the pool (though the pool view can change depending on who is swimming....). Overall, a 3 star is appropriate. read more

Honestly, you would think the sunset could take the place of average to good service, but not at this place. We sat at a dirty table for 40 min and had to beg for someone to just come around and help us. When she finally had time to stop, she explained she was just too busy to take our drink order, then she asked us if that was ok?? We did not receive our order for over 55 min. We received no water even after we asked several times, and we would never think of ordering food here. Honestly Punta Gorda- if you think this is the place to be, better get people equipped to deal with it. This is a stop we will not make again. We paid for our bottle of wine ( honestly, they would have never even known if we'd hightailed it out of there, sans bill.) we planned to eat but realized we would never get our food. Laishleys was so far superior to this. Even after a busy night, our quality drinks came to us on time, our crab legs were ordered and delivered by efficient staff- they were excellent. We will not be going to Perch 360 again- sunset or not. This is our second time here; don't know how these reviews made it through. Very disappointing!! read more
