This is a such a great spot to get a cocktail. They have a rooftop bar with lots of seating options. I've never eaten there but the menu looks good. Of course I've had a rum bucket :) and many other drinks. Everything is good. Gorgeous views of the sunset. Tables gave umbrellas and patio heaters are available as needed. One time there was live music. Not sure how often they have that. Parking is free behind the hotel. Take the elevator up to the rooftop. My husband stopped by here for a drink and we're hoping for dinner but there was an event that reserved the majority of the rooftop and it was super hot everywhere else. Alania was a great bartender. She was very charismatic and service was excellent. But the second night we were there, she was there. So I ordered the espresso martini. We'll Bryce the bartender, served it to me in a little plastic cup, I looked at him and said 'for real'!! I told him they were supposed to be served in a martini glass! He said they didn't have any at the moment! I said how come the lady opposite me had a martini glass? So he proceeds to find a cordial glass to put martini in. So the bar was not busy, maybe 8 people there. I just can't believe that a supposedly nice roof top bar would have a bartender like that. Please add the blueberry mimosa to bottomless options! We stopped in for a rooftop brunch this weekend. Mimosas and bloody have a bottomless option (12$ single or $20 botomless). We tried the strawberry basil, sunrise, blood orange, and perfect peach + the non venue item of lemon blblueberry ( which was really the best). We were not a fan of blood orange but the others were good. We also ordered brunch on the rooftop. Wonderful view of the water. The French toast and avocado toast were great. last year, my friends and I went to Perch 360 and were very impressed. This year????? First of all, we have a group organized so we know we'll need reservations. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE!! Going to their website, I tried using the "contact us" link ... THEY DON'T ANSWER THAT EITHER.... How can I make reservations, when there is no one to speak with? My friend and I will be going to FM Don's where we know we'll be able to make reservations....... UPDATE ON PERCH 360.... As it happens, I spoke with a representative from the Wyvern and he said that unless they are having a special event, NO RESERVATIONS ARE NEEDED. However, it's always on a first come first serve basis. So if you want to sit under the canopy, get there early. Oh and the phone number listed on the Perch's website still doesn't work. read more

We went for brunch on Mother's Day. The absolute best view in PG. the place was hopping but that didn't slow down the servers and bar tender. We had the best service, food and drinks! I was in Punta Gorda visiting a friend and we were at a bar the night before and someone recommended here for brunch so decided to check it out and I'm glad we did! Perch 360 is a rooftop bar/restaurant at the Wyvern Hotel. You can park at the hotel for free, but there's also some street parking around as well. The breakfast menu is offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 8-11:30 AM. When you arrive you seat yourself and a server will come to you. We were greeted quickly and the staff was friendly and helpful. My friend ordered the Breakfast Burrito and I had the Wyvern Breakfast with scrambled eggs. My meal was good, but I did try my friend's burrito and it was DELICIOUS! The steak tips were cooked and seasoned well and the portion was large, but not overwhelming. Now for drinks. They have a mimosa menu with a variety of flavors. A single mimosa is $12, but you can pay $20 for bottomless. Needless to say, just get bottomless. Even if you only get 2 you've saved some money. My favorite mimosa flavor was the Lemon Drop. And the view! It's right on the water and beautiful! I will definitely return when I am back in town again! read more

Amazing and must visit restaurant to visit in Punta Gorda. I wish I had taken more pictures. Our bartender was a lifetime local and suggested other restaurants and attractions. Her drinks were on point, great margarita with lime juice, no sour mix and my husband had the bourbon smash, absolutely amazing, although using Luxardo cherries instead of marching cherries would have been better. Tuna nachos were great, slightly seared and fresh. The crab cake sandwich was not what I was expecting, but did not have that much crab, but it was good. Easy parking. Last night my husband and I went for an after dinner drink at Perch 360. We walked in and immediately felt out of place. There was very loud rap music playing. A few tables and bar stools were occupied by people our age (mid 50s). We should have left but we decided to have a drink thinking the music would change. It did not so we cashed out. We asked who selects the music and the bartender simply said "we usually have a DJ." Perch 360 is such a nice bar and beautiful venue but this turned us off completely. By the way, we took visiting friends there back in August and a DJ was playing. We had planned to have dinner but the music was so loud we just had drinks and left. Such a shame! read more

I want desperately to give perch a 4 star. Yet here's the reality. The bartenders with his long pony tail and superlative outgoing demeanor and engaging conversation makes you overlook all the short comings. Let's first talk about the speciality drinks. The hurriekathSn is Not flavorful and does not pack a punch like you'd think the name would imply. There l bourbon smash was ok but left you wanting for something Better. The calamari was surprising good but perhaps a tad overcooked. The pairing with a bland tomato sauce was not my first choice and would have preferred a hot jelly based dip. The Caesar salad was typical with no real soiling Caesar or anchovy. The grilled salmon was great while overcooked and touch it was still flavorful. In all I think people go to perch for the view which ironically is blocked by buildings in most directions. It is not a level blue sunseeker view but it is a rooftop with music and sunset and as long as you bring your own breath of fresh air companion you can endure the bland. read more

Perch 360 is a really good place to be. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant but the food was kind of crappy. You get a great view sitting at one of the high tables. We just finished a ladies lunch with 40-50 ladies. We had 2 servers, they did an incredible job!!!! Kelli was our server and he got drink and food correct! I loved that he wrote our name down on his ticket with our drink and food order. He would come back to check on us and addressed us by our name. Granted it did take some time to get our drinks and food but when you come to a restaurant with a large party that will happen, but he knew what he was doing! Food a drinks were great! I had 2 drinks that were delicious and the steak sandwich with tots that was incredible!! Big chucks of steak. Other ladies had their turkey bacon sandwich and it had to be at least 6" high! The one and only rooftop bar near and far is the Perch 360! And really there is no place like this and only a few in Sarasota or Ft.Myers. I was excited to check out the "newly" opened rooftop bar at Punta Gorda. We went there on a Sunday evening at April,the place was about 1/2 ful,we had no problems to be seated at the table of our choice. Staff was professional,courteous and friendly. They had loud music and some brave folks even took the dance floor. Atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The music was soooo loud,the waitress could hardly hear us,but she did a good job. Service was fast. Drinks were good. Food was delicious and out in a timely manner. The view was nice however you can not see the sunset because a building blocks it. Anyways the sky was beautiful over the Peace River. It is a nice place to unwind and have a drink,enjoy the music and just chill. Unfortunately we got raind on...out of nowhere a big cloud just appeared and it started to rain,it wasn't too bad,but there is no covered area only beach umbrellas and s some roofing over the bar. We braved the weather and waited for our food,had a few more drinks just because why not?! The crowd was a mix of older folks and some young couples,people coming in after a day out on the water. This place is Florida casual,just how we like it! Doll up if you feel like,but also stop by after a bike ride or boating and fishing on the river,pretty much everything is acceptable. It is windy up on the 6th floor,so ladies tie your hair up:) I didn't....well live and learn. Parking was,free and easy. Price of our meal with plenty of drinks was average.
