    My husband stopped by here for a drink and we're hoping for dinner but there was an event that reserved the majority of the rooftop and it was super hot everywhere else. The service was really friendly so I'll give it that but the drinks weren't that good. The view was nice so we would have like to stay for a meal but couldn't handle the sun. Would love to try it some other time though

    Sadly, we were Thunderstormed to 88 Keys. The view was awesome, the place was nice. The service was very slow and my drink was watery and lacked "punch". We ate from the menu here at 88 Keys, so more there...

    Alania was a great bartender. She was very charismatic and service was excellent. But the second night we were there, she was there. So I ordered the espresso martini. We'll Bryce the bartender, served it to me in a little plastic cup, I looked at him and said 'for real'!! I told him they were supposed to be served in a martini glass! He said they didn't have any at the moment! I said how come the lady opposite me had a martini glass? So he proceeds to find a cordial glass to put martini in. So the bar was not busy, maybe 8 people there. I just can't believe that a supposedly nice roof top bar would have a bartender like that. I only hope he was in training, because I dont think the bar will make if he a regular bartender.

    Food and service. We arrived at 7:45. Plenty of time for a drink and food. WRONG. We waited almost an hour and finally our food came. No fries. They are out. I've been in food service for years. They were not out. They closed the fryer before making our food.

    Please add the blueberry mimosa to bottomless options! We stopped in for a rooftop brunch this weekend. Mimosas and bloody have a bottomless option (12$ single or $20 botomless). We tried the strawberry basil, sunrise, blood orange, and perfect peach + the non venue item of lemon blblueberry ( which was really the best). We were not a fan of blood orange but the others were good. We also ordered brunch on the rooftop. Wonderful view of the water. The French toast and avocado toast were great. My BF had the Benedict which was good as well. Bartbender Jeanie was wonderful, friendlt and offering ideas on drinks and ensuring we had everything needed! Thank you for the wonderful brunch!

    Great breakfast and bottomless mimosas with a beautiful view! I was in Punta Gorda visiting a friend and we were at a bar the night before and someone recommended here for brunch so decided to check it out and I'm glad we did! Perch 360 is a rooftop bar/restaurant at the Wyvern Hotel. You can park at the hotel for free, but there's also some street parking around as well. The breakfast menu is offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 8-11:30 AM. When you arrive you seat yourself and a server will come to you. We were greeted quickly and the staff was friendly and helpful. My friend ordered the Breakfast Burrito and I had the Wyvern Breakfast with scrambled eggs. My meal was good, but I did try my friend's burrito and it was DELICIOUS! The steak tips were cooked and seasoned well and the portion was large, but not overwhelming. Now for drinks. They have a mimosa menu with a variety of flavors. A single mimosa is $12, but you can pay $20 for bottomless. Needless to say, just get bottomless. Even if you only get 2 you've saved some money. My favorite mimosa flavor was the Lemon Drop. And the view! It's right on the water and beautiful! I will definitely return when I am back in town again!

    Amazing and must visit restaurant to visit in Punta Gorda. I wish I had taken more pictures. Our bartender was a lifetime local and suggested other restaurants and attractions. Her drinks were on point, great margarita with lime juice, no sour mix and my husband had the bourbon smash, absolutely amazing, although using Luxardo cherries instead of marching cherries would have been better. Tuna nachos were great, slightly seared and fresh. The crab cake sandwich was not what I was expecting, but did not have that much crab, but it was good. Easy parking. Will go back for the service, drinks and view!

    This is a very nice rooftop garden type bar and food location. You can see the water on one side and the city on the other. The food was ok, pretty pricy but the view and setting is worth it. The service was ok.

    I want desperately to give perch a 4 star. Yet here's the reality. The bartenders with his long pony tail and superlative outgoing demeanor and engaging conversation makes you overlook all the short comings. Let's first talk about the speciality drinks. The hurriekathSn is Not flavorful and does not pack a punch like you'd think the name would imply. There l bourbon smash was ok but left you wanting for something Better. The calamari was surprising good but perhaps a tad overcooked. The pairing with a bland tomato sauce was not my first choice and would have preferred a hot jelly based dip. The Caesar salad was typical with no real soiling Caesar or anchovy. The grilled salmon was great while overcooked and touch it was still flavorful. In all I think people go to perch for the view which ironically is blocked by buildings in most directions. It is not a level blue sunseeker view but it is a rooftop with music and sunset and as long as you bring your own breath of fresh air companion you can endure the bland.

I had the best arugula salad ever, perfectly balanced with the tomatoes, red roasted peppers, blue cheese, and balsamic dressing, and also the beef tenderloin skewers, which were cooked, medium rare and served with crispy potatoes that were seasoned spot on, just enough to make it a delightful dinner! My daughter-in-law had the swordfish which she said was very tasty, my son-in-law had the chicken Christina, which he devoured, and my husband had the cheese raviolis and meatballs, which were on the children's menu, but they said they could give him the adult size portion, which he also enjoyed. I tasted his meatballs and sometimes they are not the best everywhere, these were very good. I normally do take pictures of the food, but I forgot because we were so hungry and dug in as soon as we got our meals, but the presentation was very satisfying. The only negatives were, the music was very loud, and we could barely have a conversation, only when the band took a break, and our waitress didn't put much effort into being friendly or going the extra mile. Had to tell her to get my husband, ice, lemons for our water, and remind her about my daughter-in-law's meal that we were waiting for a couple times. Overall, would definitely go back there and recommend!

    A MUST when I'm in Punta Gorda!…read more My friend moved to Punta Gorda a couple of years ago. I've visited her 3 times, and we make sure to come here every time I'm in town. The bar/restaurant is located right on the water with great views! The parking lot is also the same lot used by the adjacent hotel, so it can sometimes be hard to find a park, depending on the day and time. It's a mixture of great outdoor spaces as well as covered spaces. There's also a private event space that's really nice as well. I've been at night as well as during the day and have enjoyed every experience. The staff is friendly and great! I even fell, I mean face-planted, one evening, and the staff made sure to check on me and see if I needed medical attention. The menu is pretty straightforward, and the bar is your basic bar. They have a drink menu, but a full bar as well. Everything is also well-priced. I haven't ordered food, so I can't give a review of the food. I will definitely be back on my next visit to PG!

I made the mistake of waiting a half hour before going to the bar and instead of being completely dead with no wait the kitchen was slammed by the time they got my order. I didn't get my food until I complained to the manager 2 hours later and the burger was a hockey puck because it had been sitting under the heat lamp for WAY too long plus it had more salt than ketchup on it. The manager tried making excuses until I told him, "If your waitresses would gave done their jobs two hours ago we wouldn't be having this conversation." I have gone back since then, but I stopped buying the VIP tickets and I stopped eating food there. I just enjoy the music and buy a drink or two. They've easily lost $500 from me because the manager didn't say, "I'm sorry" and make sure that I got a hot, fresh meal that was cooked correctly that night. The location is beautiful. The management is second rate at best.

A table for ten and a table for 6 had departed and needed to be bussed, but both were too much for just one person. So I checked in w the hostess and she asked - booth or table. I wanted table. I got a nice table by the river! Lovely views. Exactly what I wanted. Menus were dropped and soon, Sam was checking in on me. I was so hungry, I had looked at the menu and pics on my way there. I went for the crab cake appetizer and the Gold Wave cocktail. For my entree, I was torn between the Grouper Reuben and the Sea Dog (fried grouper on a long roll, topped with all sorts of goodness). Sam said grouper Reuben was his choice. He asked if I wanted grilled, blackened or fried. I told him to surprise me. For my side, I had the choice of (more) coleslaw (it has coleslaw instead of sauerkraut), fries, sweet potato fries, or a side house or Cesar salad for $4 more. I went w the house salad and their standard citrus vinaigrette. Salad and crab cake came out first. Salad was a huge portion- romaine (some pieces needed better washing), red onion galore, halved cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices. It was great, but needed croutons. The crab cake was the perfect size for one person. It had a whole grain mustard remoulade sauce. Yum! It had some filler but also had a lot of crab. I enjoyed it. The grouper Rueben came out hot!!!! Served with a side of coleslaw and a pickle. I added some needed salt. Boy that fish filet was huge. Sam had put it in grilled for me. Healthy. Nice. I ate half and then I was stuffed. I filled up on the salad and crabcake apparently. I enjoyed the views of boaters going by. It started to rain hard and the folks outside just stayed there. The overhang must've been protecting them well. My server, Sam, was around often to answer my questions. Apparently the grouper Reuben market price is only $21. And if you want redfish or mahi, the price is the same- $21! That's crazy. What a deal. The gold wave is made with Elijah Craig; Good ol Kentucky bourbon. And for dessert, they have cheesecake, peanut butter pie, mud pie, key lime pie, coconut sorbet and orange cake (which he says is a local favorite). I was too stuffed to buy but happy to hear the list. Overall I had a wonderful meal and service was really good. I would recommend adding croutons to the salad, and cleaning up the bathrooms regularly. This place ain't fancy. It's a dirt parking lot. The tables are naked. Folks come casual. Biggest problem- from 9-18 people just standing around talking, making staff walk around them. Other problems- some people just walk in past the front desk and just seat themselves ( the privileged). Total bill with tip $100 . Don't need to travel a half hour to just be ok. Won't be back.

I only managed a couple bites and left the rest, which says a lot because I love Brussels sprouts. Now let's talk about that bread and butter... chef's kiss all over again. Creamy, whipped, and just downright delicious. I would gladly take that to go. Overall, it's a solid, typical steakhouse experience. Nothing over the top, but definitely some highlights. One suggestion though... please add key lime pie to the menu. That should be a staple at any restaurant in Florida, just saying.

I opted to sit at the bar. The bar was almost full but people were leaving. Apparently people eat early there. The bartender was swamped but smiled and got me a glass of water. Soon I had menus. I like that they have a regular menu as well as a specials menu, including the usual cocktails and some special cocktails. I ordered the conquest, which seemed like a twist on an old fashioned. They offered bread or focaccia bread, I declined. And heads up- bread service is not included. It's an up charge. Normally I don't care but I was having dessert, not bread. I had the halibut special. It was phenomenal. One of the guys from the kitchen dropped it off and asked if I needed anything'- I replied salt. I find that I need salt often at restaurants. They brought the salt out real fast! We were over 30 ladies and our servers Zak & Tabby were superb in getting everything our ladies desired for lunch! We celebrated Mel o dy's March birthday ! And we had a few new comers join us. There was 3 booths and two large tables, and everyone was comfortable, and the conversations commenced. It is always a special place for our Charlotte County Girlfriends, Wednesday group. Food, ambiance and atmosphere top notch! We will be back for lunch, again very soon!
