    Chicken, Bacon Ranch Lunch Sandwich
    MaryAnn S.

Say,YES, to the new location of "PEPP'S PIZZERIA" by ordering your fan favorite. The pepperoni is absolutely delicious in terms of the crust, large pie slices and the balance of flavors that make up the ingredients that give the pepperoni that rich blend of authentic flavors. As one enters the greeting upon entering and leaving is non descriptive, but the atmosphere is neat, with clean floors and the fountain bin was slurp free meaning pooling clean. Everyone seemed to enjoy their protein canvas of choice especially the fresh chicken, bacon and ranch sandwich -- although my toasted bun was somewhat hard and could use a better selection. Other than that -- it's a place you should try for a " good pizza pie."

Ordered on NYE for the first time. I'm happy that I did. We got the Vodka Pepperoni and the White Pizza. Both were amazing and flavorful. We will be going back a lot.

The pizza is fantastic! BUT, the business is unusual in that you have to order by reservation and when they run out, that's it! The last 2 evenings they were closed by 7:30 pm after opening at 11am. Seems like either inexperience in preparation or they simply don't want to provide service any longer than than necessary. Delicious pizza, when you can get an order filled. Either go all in or close the doors for good! Don't tease your customers!

Only came to Pepps to try the pickle pizza! It was delicious! The staff were friendly. The pizza was ready in 10 minutes. I wish they had a dining room. However, we took our pizza to a park near by and had a nice picnic.

Best pizza in Grimes hands down. Service is excellent. You can't get a better pizza within a 15 miles radius.

It was getting to be dinner time, so asked my wife to meet me here for my last stop. Every time we've stopped here, we have been impressed with the quality of the food and tonight was no different. I had already enjoyed some Happy Hour specials at another venue, but my wife hadn't yet eaten dinner. She ordered the Gyro & Fries (see picture) and as you might guess, I did try a couple of bites. We both thought it was a very good gyro and were delighted to see that it is the daily special each day from 11-2, so we will definitely be coming back for lunch some day. Don't tell him I went without him :) Anyway, I'm glad the wife and I gave it a try. We walked in at 5:30 on a Friday and it was busy. We didn't wait but for a few minutes and had a table. The greeter was very friendly and our server was super nice and pleasant to have as a waiter. His recommendations were spot on. The whole restaurant was hopping busy but operating very smoothly. Not a quiet place, a true sports bar ambiance. The wings were very very good. Maybe some of the better ones I've had here in town. The gyro was fantastic, and huge. Great value. The wife's flatbread was great too. Excellent food all the way around. Prices for very reasonable. Happy hour helps some of the prices for sure, but still a well priced establishment. We are fans of this place and will most certainly be back.

7 Stone Pizzeria - Large buffalo chicken on artisan crust

My boss and I went out to lunch today. He'd picked 7 Stone with a friend of his and his friend's…read morekids. I was just along for the ride... Lol I took at look at their menu online and it's not a big menu... Build your own 7-Stone crust (thick) and artisan crust (thin) along with six different specialty pizzas. Big into appetizers? Don't plan on it here. They have cheesebread and side salads. They offer a couple different items for lunch specials (Wednesday - Friday 11am to 2pm)...toasted hoagies and a half pizza combo. It's order and pay at the counter. Pepsi self serve fountain drinks. Plates, utensils, napkins, and pizza spatulas are beside the fountain drink station. Parmesan and red pepper are on the tables. Seat yourself. The seating is a combination of booths and low top tables and chairs. There's a small counter with seating as well. The business itself is in a strip so there is lots of parking available. There was one gal behind the counter taking orders as well as cooking and serving pizzas. Two younger ladies came in a bit later, but it was hard to tell if they were actual staff or daughters there to hang out with their mom (or maybe both). Staff was friendly enough. Our party ordered: 1x large House7 on 7-Stone crust 1x large buffalo chicken on artisan crust 2x small pepperoni pizzas on artisan crust 1x large cheesebread 1x side salad 7x fountain drinks It was a short wait for everything to get cooked and served. The thicker 7 Stone crust takes about 20 min. The artisan...probably half that. The 7 Stone crust vaguely reminds me of when Pizza Hut still cooked in cast iron. The toasted crust with cheese burnt like little vertical stalagmite (that's the cave formations that form from the floor up)... That was something neat to see. I haven't had a crust like that in a long time. The artisan crust is thinner of course, but perfect for folding. You like a little char? This gives you that in some bubbling aound the edges, but the bottom of the pizza crust is not burnt. I really enjoyed the buffalo chicken pizza! I'm not sure what it was but for me there was something off about the red sauce... It wasn't "bad" but just tasted off. At first I thought it might be a residual taste from the black olives from the House7, but the red sauce on the pepperoni pizzas had the same taste. Maybe it was the plum tomatos they use v. roma or another more traditional variety? Bang for the buck... To me it seemed a little pricey. $22 for a small cheese pizza on 7-Stone. $20 for a small cheese on artisan. $33 for a large specialty on 7-Stone. $31 for a large speciality pizza on artisan. But that might just be me... The company was buying for the two of us today so... The cost is sort of irrelevant outside of mentioning the noted pricing in general. When the company is buying I really don't care. But I'm kind of glad they were paying for it... Lol But no one walked away hungry that's for sure...! And the leftovers I took home will get eaten as long as it warms up anywhere near the same (follow up edit: it did). This is a tough one for me... It's kind of like Gusto. I had a ton of friends who loved the place. I just never cared for it. And there was no particular reason... Is this some place I would return to? Maybe if invited again... But while it's not exactly my favorite... You might love it! Definitely worth checking out! https://www.7stonepizzeria.com/

We got three sodas and water for the kids. Our bill was $60. The person who took our order wanted to make sure we knew that we were ordering a lot of pizza and ask how many people we had coming. That was very nice of her. The ingredients tasted really fresh, and the crust was tasty in the wood fire oven. It's actually kind of a plain Jane restaurant in a strip mall, but the pizza is very good! Real plates and silverware are a very nice touch.

We ordered the House Special pizza and it was very good. The crust was a thin crust but it was very crispy and had an almost crackerlike texture. I really liked it a lot. Next time we'd try one of their other pizzas or pasta dishes just to try something different. We were able to be seated right after we walked in, which was nice. Delivery is very manageable and eating in is consistently very slow. Also, my brother, who is in a wheelchair always ask for the pizza cut in squares because that is easier for him. Pizza places accommodate this maybe half the time and forget the other half. Pagliai's usually forgets and we had a server get annoyed about being asked to take it back and have it cut in squares. She solved this by saying it couldn't be done. We didn't ask her to dig a ditch, come on! We've spent a million dollars at this place and we do not frequent near as much.
