when this restaurant first opened it served the best tasting pizza I've ever had. as time has gone by ive noticed a decline in standards, service is average, wait times have increased. The last time we dined in we waited over an hour for our food. We ordered three pizzas today for pick up. At first glance of the pizzas they looked over cooked, very dark in color. after a couple bites I had to spit it out, I honestly would rather have frozen pizza from walmart. I was staying in Marion while working on a project and putting lots of hours in. So I didn't feel like going out when I got back to the hotel at the end of the day. I knew they delivered to the hotel, so I called in an order. I didn't feel like having pizza so I ordered chicken parm which came with a side salad. It was not the most delicious chicken parm I have ever had, but it was good enough. The chicken breast was a little on the small side, but was more than enough for me, especially with the pasta it is served with plus the small side salad & 2 garlic knots. (Now, if my hubby were ordering, he might have been disappointed in the portion size, but he's a tall man & outweighs me by around 80 lbs.) In any case, this place is good for quick delivery and the price point. The salad was fresh, no wilt-y greens, so I was happy about that. All in all, I would definitely give this place another try if I am back in town...but next time I'd skip the chicken parm and give their pizza a try. read more

I have ate at this place several times since it's been in Marion and every time we go, we always deal with the same thing...... DIRTY TABLES!! It would be different if it was one or two but when we went this last time there was 7 dirty tables!!! I get it, there was only 1 waitress but probably 5 or 6 ppl in the kitchen just talking and doing whatever. I don't understand why one of them didn't/couldn't come out and help the waitress clean tables. Several ppl walked out due to no place to sit. A older couple asked my husband and I to sit with them due to no clean tables, the waitress herd it and cleaned a table for us. The food is good especially the porky sticks and the grilled chicken Cesar salads. I feel that this place would benefit tons from having a busboy. read more

My family LOVES pizza, and so far this is our favorite pizza place in western NC! The food is so fresh and delicious, reasonably priced, and quick and kind service. We can't wait to go back and try all the different pizzas! They even have a kids meal option w/ pizza. All restaurants need to take a lesson from Pepperoni's on how to provide good, fast, and tasty service. Best place we've been to in a long time. We had fried mushrooms, garlic sticks, and three personal pizzas tailored to our preferences. Everything came out super hot too, and the chips on the kid's meal were homemade, crunchy, and salty. i've known Kara (the owner) since i was a baby, and she's known my father who works for her as a side job for, 15 years. (as long as i've been alive) and the food is great! the pizza is delicious, and those chippers are my absolute favorite. the environment is safe, and the people are super friendly. definitely a wonderful place to stop while in marion. read more

I thought this place had really good food. We had delivered to our hotel at the Hampton Inn and they were at the door in less time that was given!! My kids loved the Chicken Alfredo, the chicken had great flavor. Spaghetti was delicious and the Onion Petals were pretty good too. We have eaten there many times. Our favorite place to go. Brought out of town guests there a couple weeks ago and they said it was the best pizza and wings. Salads are always crisp and yummy. Especially the cranberry craze salad. Serving staff are also excellent. We will continue to go here often. read more

The best pizza and Greek salad in WNC! My favorite pizzas are the kitchen sink, great white, and chicken Alfredo. The large Greek salad topped with grilled chicken is a meal unto itself. I have also tried their calzone and it was delicious. The only reason they do not get 5 stars is because the dining area is small during rush hours. read more

I visited this place yesterday and was very disappointed with the customer service. We were a party of 3 and when we entered the sign said seat yourself. There were a few tables that have not been cleaned off and the only table that was available was a larger table so that is where we sat. After sitting for a few minutes the waitress came by and said rudely we couldn't sit there if we didn't have 6 in our party. So not knowing where we are supposed to sit we stayed seated hoping maybe they were going to clean another table off for us. That didn't happen. We were treated like we were invisible!! Called in an order and the employees didn't even know there own menu. So I didn't get the deal that was on there website. Pasta tastes like it's made at home with no seasoning or taste to it. Caesar salad came with grilled chicken and you could tell it was cooked and then microwaved to get heated back up. Subpar at best. read more

Never again. The quality of good aside, our last two home deliveries we did not get all of our order. First time, two pasta dinners and our salads did not get delivered. We did not enjoy our meal. My husband had pizza that arrived cold. My pasta was burned and dry. So cold, both attitude and temperature.

I have eaten a lot of pizza in my life. All over America. I personally feel little ceasars is better than this pizza. I paid 30 bucks for food that was a huge disappointment. We ate the bread sticks after we loaded them with salt and parmesan. The potatoes chips should have been salted after they came out of the fryer. They were not. Potatoes don't really stand up to a taste test without some kind of seasoning. If you do not season homemade chips after they are fried the seasoning does not stick to them. Hence no flavor. A good pizza starts with The crust. I would love to see how they made this crust because it was flavorless. A good dough has bread flour, sugar and yeast. Then salt and oil. This definitely was missing an ingredient. The sause had a deep red much like bbq sauce. There clearly wasn't enough spices for this sauce. All in all everything was bland. We didn't eat most of it. We also cancelled our dessert because I simply could not endure anything else being brought to my table. The waitress was friendly. She even went to the management to see if she could switch the tv channels. At which time they told her they were set channels and they could not be changed. No seriously they thought someone would believe that. A simple no would have sufficed. Probably one of the least accommodating restaurants I've ever been to. The food would have made up for it if it was good. But it was not. The cashier topped it all off with answering the phone while she was checking me out. She was rude and direct. Finally tried Pepperoni's, was greatly disappointed. Service was non existent and the lasagna was mediocre at best. Didn't even receive my salad and was not a single refill of water. Did at least receive a (woopie) 10% discount for my non existent salad. Would have still been disappointed if the meal had been free. Left wife's leftovers on table as the was no one to ask for water, much less a to go box. read more

I have eaten here several times before and the food is good. The service is why I could only give two stars. Last night my husband and I stopped in only to find two empty tables. Both empty tables were dirty. Since it is seat yourself we waited for approximately 5 minutes for the tables to be cleared. They were not, so we went ahead and sat down at the cleanest one. We proceeded to sit at the table for over 15 minutes with not one employee acknowledging us at all! Since we saw that we were not going to have our table cleaned or order taken we got up and left. I ordered from Pepperonis a few weeks ago and specifically asked the girl to make my wings well done. Three different times I stressed to her that I like them well done, almost burnt. I also requested an extra side of celery and buffalo sauce on the side. When I arrived my wings were not well done at all so I asked the girl if she could drop the wings for a few more minutes to which she replied, "I already put the wings in the fryer for 10 minutes and everything is already shut off so I cant do anything for you. I already fried them for 4 more minutes than we ordinarily do." I told her that is why I requested 3 different times for them to be well done, almost burnt so we wouldn't have this issue. To top it off, the wings were all pink on the inside. Also in the box were 3 measly pieces of celery which were now soggy and flimsy because they placed them in the box with the hot chicken wings. When I asked if she had the extra side of celery she acted like it was a big deal to get them for me even though I had previously asked for them on the phone. My buffalo sauce on the side was also not in the bag, so when I asked for it she rolled her eyes and scoffed at me and rudely asked another girl to get it for me. While checking the other orders (fried ravioli) there was no marinara dipping sauce which I again had to ask for while receiving rude, exaggerated facial expressions. The honey mustard was also not included which I had requested for my fried mushrooms (which there were 16 mushrooms in the order for $5.86 and 11 of the mushrooms were literally the size of a nickel or smaller). I was extremely disappointed with the lack of organization and then when I asked for the things that were supposed to be included in my order that I had requested on the phone the girl acted like I was asking for her to make a miracle happen. When I called back to speak to a manager the manager took my name and told me that she would look into it because I obviously couldn't eat the chicken wings which were not cooked and was disappointed overall with the entire RUDE experience. The manager proceeded to never call me back or get in touch to correct the mistake. Customer service from every standpoint at this place is lacking. read more
