Went for my lunch break and it was mostly empty. (This was also on a Friday at 11:30 so it doesn't surprise me) The bread was beyond fresh and was so soft and fluffy! I got the mushroom ravioli with Alfredo instead of tomato sauce (a small up charge but SO worth it!). Went there today on the way to Cherokee. It was about 4:30 and the place was deserted. We ordered ziti with meat sauce, side salad, and chicken tenders The ziti wasn't strained properly so the sauce sat atop of watered ziti. The salad had wilted vegetables and the chicken tenders were under cooked. I should have taken the whole meal back and asked them if this was normal. I feel sorry for the waitstaff for having to put out such horrible food. It was possibly the worst meal I've ever had. I would not even given it one star unless I had to read more

This is not my favorite place. My noodles had me having very high expectations by the look of them they have so much cheese, but when i took a bite NOTHING!! All i tasted was butter . The bread here is hands down one of the best. Omg, it just melts in your mouth. We were driving back from Little Switzerland to Charlotte and found this gem in the town of Marion. Don't look at the outside, just go inside and enjoy one of the best NY pizzas in the area. The service was great as well. The owner came out and spoke to us to make sure we were satisfied with the food. Also, the sauce here is homemade and that is nothing like I have had before. We ordered mozzarella sticks and the sauce came with it. It was just yum. Would definitely recommend 10/10 when you are in the area. read more

Was it the greatest food I ever had?, no but it was damn good. Is this a place I would travel to from my home in Asheville? For sure!! What really made this place shine was the attitude of one server. I was hungry at 9:30 Friday night. Eddies closes at 10p but I took a chance fully expecting to be turned away. Instead the server, who was doing scheduling ( this may help to identify her more readily) greeted me as if it was 12 noon. I apologized on my late arrival and instead of telling me I could only get take away she warmly invited me to sit down and have a meal. That's 5 star service in my book!!!! That's what would make me come back 2-3 nights a week if I lived closer. That's what would make Eddies my go to neighborhood Italian restaurant. Okay so for my first go around (yes that means I'll be back), I had a side salad with ranch and I ordered the Stromboli as is on the menu (mushrooms, pepperoni and sausage). So - salad was kind of a bummer...the produce was all so wet that I had to actually drain it and then pat it down with a paper towel (I'm a salad girl, so this wasn't happy). No cheese either (sad face inserted here). But, their ranch was good...so that's a plus. Okay...now the important stuff: their marinara tastes so fresh. Its light, well seasoned, a little chunky, and just flavourful. Im Italian; i make my own sauce; I was impressed; this is good! Ha. The dough on the Stromboli...soooo flavourful. Crispy at the edges but not crunchy or burnt. Thinner but not skimpy. And well stuffed. Lots of the good stuff inside, including a THOUROUGHLY melted cheese. This dough is well made and well seasoned for sure. The size isn't the biggest I've seen, but its worth the money and more than filling. I'll definitely be back; next stop: PASTA! read more

I was in town for a little when our family decided to order some food for carry out. I went online and found this spot. The prices were great so I ordered an appetizer (12 chicken wings) which was priced at 8.99$ and a speciality pizza at 19.99$. My husband went to pick up the food and the total was 38.00$. I'm not a math wiz but they were off by about 10$. My husband pulled up their menu and was told the prices changed, but they haven't updated anything online. I just tried Eddie's quite disappointed after the reviews- I ordered two large 16" pizzas one meat lovers extra cheese, and a philly cheese steak with extra steak extra cheese- What I rec'd was a Meat lovers that was pretty salty, slim on meat and for extra cheese pretty slim, then I rec'd a philly cheese steak SANDWICH not pizza as I ordered, the waitress said she "got confused"? The real kicker was the sandwich was just as expensive as the pizza - I'm guessing the $33.50 bill was for two pizza's I ordered, (one pizza listed as $17+) only rec'd one pizza and a sandwich but I was charged for the pizza's I ordered instead of what I got unless the sandwich was $16+. I just tried ordering a pickup of a Pizza and do half and half toppings but they double charge for toppings if you do it that way. To illustrate say you order a large pizza and have 4 toppings on each side, they charge you for eight toppings or +$16 instead of the +8 for a 4 topping pizza. The Greek salad was wonderful, I don't even like tomatoes, but these tomatoes on the salad were so red and fresh looking, I tried them and they were delicious!! The bread??
